Originally, Trump had been pretty unhappy with Liu Zhizhong lately.

This President of Valle actually dared to play political decoupling with the mighty United States—so, feeling the pain now, huh?

After all, politics and economics are one body; they affect each other.

Even though Valle struggled through and held on, it still went through torture.

Trump didn't want to have a private meeting with Liu Zhizhong, but after thinking it over, he still agreed.

He also felt it was necessary to warn this little bro a bit: in front of big brother United States, you really shouldn't be too confident; it won't do you much good.

So Trump showed up as agreed, arriving at Liu Zhizhong's hotel.

The two exchanged a few courtesies, then sat down.

Trump said very seriously, "President Chi, haven't you gotten a bit too confident lately?"

Liu Zhizhong looked completely baffled. "Sir, why would you say that?"

"You of course know very well yourself, don't you? In Venezuela, you pulled out your troops without a word, leaving our US forces in a bind. And with the Epstein files, you won't lend us a hand—have you really forgotten our original agreement?"

Liu Zhizhong looked helpless. "Sir, you're mistaken. We can talk about Venezuela later. Just on that file issue alone, I still hope to respect US law, and respect humanity and conscience. Some things are a cancer on civilization—if they're not made public, doesn't that seem improper?"

"That's the United States' business—Miguo Government and judiciary business. But your over-the-top global live broadcast and sensationalizing is bad for everyone, isn't it? Doing this, are you respecting our friendly political relationship?"

"I respect humanity."

Trump: "..."

He was speechless, could only spread his hands and nod. "Fine. Valle's economy just went through a painful phase—you don't want to relive that, do you?"

Liu Zhizhong looked at this old Madman and felt like he was facing an old Demon King. He said coolly, "If you're not standing on the side of humanity and conscience, I'd rather Valle's economy suffer prolonged pain. And of course, what I'd least like to see is you one day nailed to the pillar of historical shame, going down as the worst president in US history."

"You… you're making me really angry! Friend, I still thought of you as a friend. If you insist on opposing the United States…"

"No… I don't want to oppose humanity and conscience. Mark once told me some things; I believe they're real. If you want me to help you cover something up, that I probably can't do."

Trump took a deep breath, really wanting to tear Mark to pieces, but he said, "No, you can do it. It's just a matter of whether you help or not—or rather, whether you act or don't act."

Liu Zhizhong watched the old man about to go crazy and got a bit curious. "Oh? How exactly am I supposed to help? What am I supposed to do?"

"Use your intel and cyber capabilities, and under the banner of Great East Pot, hack into the White Palace databases, plant a virus, and completely destroy the entire Epstein file. For Valle, that's not too hard, is it?"

Liu Zhizhong rubbed his chin and gave a wry smile. "With your security level that high, we can't pull it off. And even if we did, we would definitely copy all the original files before destroying anything. Of course, you want us to pin it on Great East Pot—aren't you looking a bit too highly on Great East Pot?"

"Whether I'm looking highly on Great East Pot is another matter. Whether you'll do it is a different question. If you're willing, I'll have someone leave backdoors for your tech experts; they'll definitely find them and it'll facilitate your operation. But in the end you must not copy anything, because once a copy command is triggered, it will set off a war directive, which is bad for both of us. You don't want all Valle's overseas enclaves and investments turned to ash, do you?"

Trump's gaze was dripping with murderous intent.

Liu Zhizhong immediately grew alert. "What do you mean? Are you threatening me?"

"Not a threat—an invitation for you to make a wise choice. After the incident, we will only announce that a test of our long-range missile program went out of control and accidentally struck Wale State, causing severe damage, and that we're willing to negotiate compensation. But massive casualties might endanger your presidential throne, don't you think?"

Liu Zhizhong drew in a sharp breath and nodded. "I get it. The world really is one giant amateur troupe—and your 'lighthouse' United States is the super troupe among the amateurs. I can't figure out what you're so afraid of, you Demon!"

Trump burst out laughing. "I'm a Demon—is that how you define me?"

"Isn't it?"

"Maybe you're right. But who can completely erase the evil in human nature? If you don't help us this time, the entire United States will be implicated, and many world leaders will be dragged into it. Economics, politics, and culture will all go backward—do you want to see that?"

"That's your US business, not Valle's business. Your biggest mistake was going to Rolle Island and unleashing human evil—unleashing it without limit. Sorry, Mr. US President, but I'm not like you. I won't help you. I can't do the work of aiding and abetting tyranny."

Trump took a deep breath and stared at Liu Zhizhong for a long time before giving a cold, thin smile. "Valle's economy, politics, and military—just wait for the storm."

Liu Zhizhong spread his hands and said, "Only you would pull something that kills three thousand enemies and costs you eight hundred of your own. Valle may suffer, but if Valle allies with Little Days, or pivots to an alliance with Great East Pot, the United States will lose much more. Prices will soar, unemployment will explode—you might just be angling to step down early."

"You… you…"

Trump's face went green with rage, and for a moment he couldn't say a word.

The world is an amateur troupe, but there are always some who don't fear brute power—and Liu Zhizhong was one of them.

After quite a while, Liu Zhizhong finally gave two cold laughs. "Mr. Trump, think carefully about why the files on President Kennedy's assassination were investigated again and again yet certain archives have never been released."

"Why?"

Trump suddenly shot back with a question.

Liu Zhizhong was stunned for a moment, then glanced at him and laughed. "So you really are a political idiot."

"You…"

Trump was about to rage himself insane.

Liu Zhizhong's face showed no fear. "I'm not insulting you; I'm just giving you an honest assessment. At the same time, for the sake of global stability, I'll violate my conscience a bit and give you two ideas on how to deal with the mess of those files. I don't want to get involved, but I can point you a path. The civilized world has come this far with great difficulty—if it's turned into a total mess by your crap, that would be far too tragic."

Trump took a deep breath and pointed at Liu Zhizhong. "Go on, tell me your thoughts. I'm still willing to listen. And if they're utterly useless, I won't mind making both of us suffer."

Liu Zhizhong said with contempt, "You Devil, you did far too many vile things on Rolle Island, didn't you? Heh…"
