Chapter 313: Bloody Execution!

Chapter 313

’I’m sorry.’ He apologized internally as he looked at the cowering woman who had woken up by now and was backing away from the approaching demon.

There was nothing he could do.

The demon was extremely powerful; he could tell.

He was using a very huge amount of Abyss energy to stay hidden from sight.

Any mistake would lead to his death.

However, although he could not do anything right now, he was not without a plan.

He moved calmly towards the table where the demon had thrown his paper.

On top of the papers, he saw the spit from the demon.

Oliver narrowed his eyes. Extending his hand, he used Abyss energy to envelop and separate a part of the demon’s saliva and effortlessly stored it in his storage artifact.

The demon didn’t know at this moment, but his fate was sealed for a cruel demise from this moment forth.

The screams of the woman made him close his eyes momentarily. He wished he could block his ears at this moment.

He didn’t bother lingering any more.

He had another task to accomplish.

’Don’t worry, it won’t take long.’ Oliver whispered to himself as he walked towards the room of the foolish son of the demon.

The people inside were no longer there. His task was made easier.

He quietly picked up the communication device and left the room.

Going to a remote location within the mansion itself, he quickly fiddled with the watch, wanting to boot it.

’What…?’

To his surprise, the watch didn’t react. He paused and instantly guessed the reason.

’It has to be that.’

He recalled his own communication watch; the device worked only with the bio-signature or the espera imprint of the user.

’Sigh.’ He took a deep breath, knowing things would soon turn bloody.

But the corner of his lips could not help but curl, as if he had been expecting this to happen.

In fact, he wished that it would be like this, subtly.

He grinned ear to ear as he walked towards a particular direction.

’I will leave you with a departing gift.’ He looked in the direction of the household head who was doing unspeakable things in his room.

__________

He found the target he was searching for—the foolish demonic son who was leisurely sprawled in his bath.

’I will have to be quick. He will sense me instantly the moment I do this.’

Oliver said to himself and prepared everything.

“Hmm~ Mmm~ Mmm~”

The man was sipping some sort of purple liquid, likely to recover his stamina.

He didn’t even realize that behind him was Oliver, standing with his hand straight, in the shape of a chop, covered with Abyss energy.

He moved swiftly, and in a fraction of a second, the demon’s head was severed from its torso.

Before a fountain of blood could sprout, he moved even faster, Abyss energy completely engulfing everything within, leaving nothing behind.

Not a single trace of the once-living demon remained, as if he had never existed in the first place.

Oliver instantly felt the essence of the demon integrating and being absorbed by the Abyss energy. Before it completely assimilated, he quickly controlled the flow and unlocked the watch successfully.

’Sweet.’

Although he would have preferred to consume the heart of the demon directly for more control over absorption, he was under tight time constraints, and it was too risky, so he used Abyss energy to consume him instead.

He smirked and instantly left the mansion to find a secluded spot to hide.

His Abyss energy was now somewhat replenished from consuming the demon.

_________

In the household head’s room,

As the demon was torturing the human woman, he suddenly paused.

’The smell of blood?’

Even though it was for an instant, he definitely felt it.

’What was that…?’ He looked in the direction where the smell came from.

The scent vanished as soon as he detected it. What was strange was that it appeared as if there had never been any such scent.

He knew his senses could never deceive him. He had definitely felt it.

An ominous intuition surfaced within him.

He stopped what he was doing and got up from the bed.

“Servants!” He called out, and a few demons quickly gathered at his call.

“Seal the mansion. Call my idiot son, and have the guards search every corner for anything suspicious.”

“Yes, master.” The servants dispersed, following his orders.

He had given the order just in case. He was usually not like this, but he had felt uneasy for some time now.

He was ready to go back inside and continue to relieve himself.

However, just a short while later, a servant rushed back with a pale face.

“M-Master, the young lord…!”

His expression changed greatly as he looked at the pale servant.

“T-The young lord is nowhere to be found…”

“What do you mean?” He questioned with a darkened expression.

The uneasy feeling in his chest intensified.

He didn’t wait for the servant to finish but extended his senses in all directions.

His consciousness covered the whole mansion in an instant.

Upon sensing the situation, his already dark expression worsened.

He could not find his son anywhere in the mansion.

He had put him under house arrest a few weeks ago due to his troublesome nature.

And no matter how mischievous his son was, he knew that he would never dare to disobey his orders.

The chances of him sneaking out were close to none.

Still, he ordered the guards to search for him outside as well, but his gut told him that what he was imagining was probably the truth.

His son…

The scent of blood that vanished in a moment…

Both of them were connected.

His body trembled with rage. He was not a nobody; he was the household head of one of the top powers in the city.

Someone had the audacity to sneak into his mansion under his very presence and harm his family?

“They are taking me too lightly!” He roared to no one in particular.

His voice echoed clearly throughout the silent mansion, silencing the servants.
