"And you’re sure the woman and that student would ask for her?" She confirmed once again. Did she explicitly mention Gina or any woman would do?

She had just come back after meeting the Queen. She had not expected such a bomb to be dropped at her.

Especially her son, she did not expect that the boy she had raised into such a kind man would get involved in a situation this twisted.

Fucking a blindfolded student with the help of another student? Even she had no idea that the youngsters were involved in things like this.

Now that she had heard of Daniel’s problem, she had to find the solution for it. Even with her strictness, the boy did not give any names. So, she could not investigate it.

And asking Gina to take care of it did not seem right. That woman would chew her son out after knowing about this. Scarlett herself would have to find a solution.

’Could I get another woman to substitute for Gina?’ That’s why she had asked Daniel about the exact words.

’If it does not involve anyone else then maybe I could...’ She looked at Daniel and sighed. The boy did not seem to be doing well so reassured him that she would take care of it and warned him to not talk to Gina about it.

"What is happening with this family? First that boy Rae with Gina and even me. Now, Daniel is involved with some students. How’s this academy even functioning?"

"Mother told me to not talk with another soul about it but what about Rae himself?" Daniel muttered as he decided to consult Rae once again.

He needed to tell her that the matter has now reached the Principal.

"He has been attending the classes. So, it would not be suspicious if I were to talk with him." As he thought about visiting Rae, he felt that it would be suspicious of him to visit the student personally. The classes were the only option.

Next day,

"Hey, professor." Rae greeted Daniel walking towards him.

"I wanted to talk about that." Daniel instantly got to the point, not wanting to waste time in greetings.

Rae also understood what ’that’ meant. But he had not given that much thought.

"It’s okay. That woman has not made any demands and she might..." He was just going to assure him that it was not a big deal and the woman might not actually try something but stopped when he heard Daniel complete his sentence before him. "My mother, Principal Scarlett, knows about this!"

’Is she already back?’ Rae wondered. He was aware that she had gone for the Queen’s coronation and some stuff. He had also assumed that it could be an excuse to avoid him.

"What?? How? Why?" He blurted a series of questions. Why would an adult man share his problem with his mother? That too, when it involved cheating and swapping.

Daniel then proceeded with his story and explained how and why it happened to him. Why he could not avoid answering his mother.

"So that’s what happened.." There was a minuscule chance of a proper mommy’s boy like Daniel to avoid answering her. He finally understood why Gina did not spend much time with her mother-in-law and husband.

Discarding all those thoughts from his head, he asked Daniel the most important question. "What did she say about it?"

What was her response to it?

He had just mentioned in brief that she told she would take care of the situation and not to talk to anyone. What were her exact words?

What did she mean by it?

"She asked if the woman specifically mentioned Gina or any other woman would do." Daniel thought for a moment before quoting his mother.

’Is this Lady Luck blessing me?’ Rae stared at Daniel for a few seconds before staring at the ground as he thought.

Perhaps, Daniel had not thought much about it because he had not expected that his noble and pious mother would want to substitute for his wife but Rae knew.

Rae was aware that he could push Scarlett into it. He knew that if given the circumstances, she would actually do it. Not to mention, her and her family’s future was at stake in this.

"Honestly, she would do it with other women close to you, too. I could try talking to her and maybe to your mother too." Rae thought for a while as he spoke.

He took a paper and pen from the side and wrote something, folded the paper into an intricate spell to hide the content before handing it to Daniel.

"Here, give this to your mother." He placed the letter in Daniel’s hand which the Professor did not bother reading.

"Let me handle this from here. And don’t tell your mother about this little meeting." Rae assured that he would take care of it. There was no need to worry.

He would handle the conversation from here on with his mother.

Daniel looked at Rae and nodded gratefully, thankful for the help. He put the letter in his back pocket to hand it over to Scarlett after the class.

Two days letter,

Rae had wanted to get out of the academy and head to other places. He had to visit Hina, Maria, Sasha.. he had too many places to be at once.

But the situation with Daniel had made him want to stay. He knew that if he stayed for a while and played his cards right then he could have Scarlett for himself.

"So you’re here." Rae glanced at the haggard looking Daniel and spoke. He had invited Daniel to the library once again.

However, this time, Daniel would not get any action. Rae and Daniel were talking and he had accidentally mentioned that Scarlett had offered to substitute for her daughter-in-law.

Daniel seemed shocked but then asked Rae to reconsider. Why would you want to do it with an old woman?

But Rae explained that both that woman and Scarlett had talked about it and there was no chance they’d reconsider. The best he could do was let Daniel secretly into the library to spectate.

Daniel hesitated but then agreed to watch citing safety concerns.
