Night Without End
Chapter 1678 - 664: Chaos Unleashed
Chapter 1678: Chapter 664: Chaos Unleashed
Between heaven and earth, the massive Qilin Claw was like Exotic Gold forged into immortality, its swirling Immortal Light resembling electric arcs, blindingly bright, catching up at an astonishing speed.
It had no body, just a segment of Qilin Claw that filled the night sky, carrying an unstoppable force, causing the many cultivators in Yao Guang City to turn pale.
When it crossed the Void, even before it touched down, a large number of Crimson Insects were already bleeding, falling swiftly, then turning into ashes in the night sky.
Even the mother insect at the Seventh Realm dared only to seethe in anger, watching helplessly as it crossed the insect tide, destroying many Strange Insects, stepping onwards to a farther place.
In an instant, like a flock of Thunder Sparrows rolling in dark clouds, they let out terrified cries, releasing brilliant arcs of electricity, but half of them were gone in just the first moment.
The radiant Qilin Claw did not specifically target them, merely passing over them caused numerous Thunder Sparrows to explode. The blood mist, illuminated by electric arcs, was clearly visible, turning the entire night sky crimson.
In the deep, dark night sky, blood-stained feathers fell, the last remnants of the dead Thunder Sparrows.
The terrifying Qilin Claw drifted away as the remaining flocks of Thunder Sparrows and waves of Crimson Insects tore through the dense Night Fog, rushing into the Wang Yang region in panic.
Yao Guang City, guarding the side of Wang Yang, was a thriving trade center, a giant city bustling with the myriad races, yet they had never witnessed such a grand and heart-stopping migration of Alien Species.
"Is the deeper part of Yewu World in chaos?" Within Yao Guang City, a supreme Earth Immortal spoke with a grave expression.
Many were relieved that the Qilin Claw had not stepped here, otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Qin Ming felt a heavy heart. Earlier, he had joked that upon coming outside, he would not miss Ye State.
Reality soon gave him a lesson; if the Qilin Claw inadvertently stepped on him, it would be like a giant elephant crushing a bug.
Even if he were smashed and thoroughly dead, that "giant elephant" wouldn’t know.
"The depths of Yewu World are too dangerous!" Qin Ming’s body was tense and straight.
The great escape of Alien Species was not over yet. Nearby, terrifying groups of creatures intermittently passed by.
At the horizon, one "vine shadow" after another appeared, densely packed, like countless tentacles of Demons frantically waving in the Night Fog.
Soon, hissing sounds continuously rose, causing one’s hair to stand on end,
"Flying Snakes!" someone exclaimed.
This time, the disturbance was not large, but that sound sent chills down people’s spine.
In the night sky, many Flying Snakes flapped their wings, with cold gazes and scarlet tongues, causing great discomfort, many of the Big Snakes as thick as barrels.
Most terrifying of all, there were Flying Flood Dragons among them.
"Such a massive group, no ordinary Earth Realm could sustain them. There are at least three flood dragons at the Seventh Realm among them."
Many turned pale, feeling uncertain in their hearts. What happened deep within Yewu World to scare so many species into frenzied escape?
This scale of migration was indeed rare.
Someone’s voice trembled, "Should we quickly leave this Earth Realm as well?"
An old monster remained calm, "The disturbance deep in Yewu World will indeed affect the surrounding regions but it cannot expand infinitely. Currently, some groups are likely overly panicked, overreacting."
He explained that according to historical patterns, such "disturbance" could not truly reach so far.
Then, people saw giant beasts stretching across the sky, two living creatures ferociously fighting, both seemingly half-mad.
One giant beast was mighty, with a lion’s head and a human form, towering like a small mountain, its black mane dense, exuding overwhelming Evil Qi.
The other giant beast was covered in Golden Scales, resembling a lizard, from whose wounded parts pale golden blood flowed, rich in Spirituality.
"A Sixth Realm giant beast gone half-mad; both are losing, about to die. Its blood could be extracted for Alchemy, a fortune delivered to your door."
The prominent families within Yao Guang City were immediately enticed.
Whenever Alien Species migrate, to the great powers along the way, though accompanied by great risk, sometimes it is akin to a Taotie feast.
Ultimately, the bleeding giant beasts in the night sky fell down one after another.
However, no one rushed forward because more creatures were fleeing from behind.
A group of Flying Spirit Apes with violent temperaments, red eyes, acting somewhat deranged, howled as they charged through the night sky.
After half a two hours, several decayed Divine beings were fighting each other, blasting through some mountain peaks along the way, some crashed to the ground, others broke into the depths of Wang Yang.
At this point, this grand escape of biological groups had finally concluded.
"The later the creatures, the crazier they seem. What influenced them?"
"Finally, it’s over!"
The night sky quieted down, the prominent families in the city immediately sent people to the distant mountains to search for fallen prey.
Qin Ming noticed some of the old monsters at the banquet were acting strangely. Some were grave-faced, others with fervent eyes, seemingly expectant.
He discovered the Time Beast from the Demon Court, the White Phoenix of the Cultivation Civilization, and the man in the bloody moon from the Immortal Remnant Organization had all quietly left.
Even the Old Dream Worm quickly disappeared into the night.
Earlier, he was worried about the injured Meng Zhiyu, always at her side, now she had suddenly gone far away.
"What’s going on?" Niu Wuwei similarly noticed the anomaly, asking Zhou Tian beside him.
Zhou Tian whispered, "The old guys might have gone to pick up some cheap bargains."
The faces of major organizations, the unrivaled masters of the Seventh Realm, had almost all vanished from Yao Guang City.
Mu Shiniang also murmured, "This isn’t an isolated incident; it has happened in other regions before. Now it seems something’s wrong deeper within Yewu World."
