Chapter 610 - 423: A Twelve-winged Angel Transforms into an Eighteen-winged Angel
"Is that all you’ve got?" Chu He said contemptuously.
He flung the golden ball of light in his hand toward the Twelve-winged Angel.
Like a meteor trailing a long, golden flame, the ball of light shot toward the Twelve-winged Angel at an incredible speed.
Seeing this, the Twelve-winged Angel frantically flapped its wings, trying to dodge the fatal blow.
However, the golden ball of light seemed to have a mind of its own, locking onto the Angel tightly.
Just as the golden ball of light was about to strike the Twelve-winged Angel, the Angel suddenly spread its twelve wings, completely enveloping its body.
BOOM!
The golden ball of light collided with the Twelve-winged Angel, unleashing a powerful shockwave of energy.
Like a violent earthquake, the shockwave radiated swiftly outward from the point of impact.
The floor of the Demon Cave trembled violently once more as more rocks broke loose from the walls. In the sky, the golden light wavered intensely from the force of the impact.
When the light faded, the Twelve-winged Angel’s wings were tattered and torn. The brilliant, holy light that once surrounded its body had grown dim and faint.
Its body swayed precariously, looking as if it might plummet from the sky at any moment.
"No... this is impossible..."
Beckett muttered in disbelief, his eyes fixed on the dying Twelve-winged Angel in the sky.
Chu He ignored their shock. He slowly descended, landing on the floor of the Demon Cave.
At this moment, he was like a sovereign master who had descended upon the Mortal World, exuding an awe-inspiring aura.
"Now, it’s your turn."
Chu He’s voice was cold and merciless, as if he were pronouncing a death sentence upon Beckett, Guerrero, and Tota Arhat.
The three exchanged a look, seeing determination and resolve in each other’s eyes.
They knew there was no escape. Their only hope was to fight to the death; it was their only sliver of a chance for survival.
"Come on! We’ll fight you to the end!"
Tota Arhat shouted and once again raised the Seven-Colored Pagoda in his hands.
The Pagoda flared with brilliant light, releasing a seven-colored radiance as he tried to once again construct the Seven-Colored Domain that could restrict an enemy’s movements.
Beckett and Guerrero also unleashed their own Magic. The Scepter and Magical Artifact in their hands flashed with blinding light, and powerful beams of energy shot toward Chu He.
Chu He stood his ground, motionless, the same confident smile still on his face.
Just as the beams of energy were about to hit him, he gently raised his hands and swiftly formed a golden Rune in front of him.
The Rune flashed and instantly absorbed all the incoming energy beams.
"Your struggles are futile."
As Chu He spoke, he waved his hands, and a golden wave of energy swept toward the three men.
Wherever the wave passed, it carved a deep trench in the ground. The surrounding air seemed to ignite, making a SIZZLING sound.
Beckett, Guerrero, and Tota Arhat felt an overwhelmingly powerful and irresistible force crashing down on them.
They tried to resist, but their efforts seemed so insignificant in the face of this power.
Like leaves swept up in a gale, the three of them were sent flying by the energy wave, slamming heavily into the walls of the Demon Cave.
The walls instantly crumbled from the impact, burying them under large chunks of rock.
After a long moment, the dust settled, and silence fell upon the Demon Cave.
Chu He stood quietly in place, a satisfied smile spreading across his face as he surveyed the scene.
"No one can stand in my way."
Chu He murmured, his voice echoing in the silent Demon Cave.
Tota Arhat lay collapsed on the cold ground, tightly clutching the Seven-Colored Pagoda—a treasure that had once shone with immense brilliance but was now dim and lifeless.
His eyes were filled with sorrow and helplessness, knowing he was trapped in a desperate situation with no way out.
"My life is over, my duties are fulfilled. My path of purity is established; I will not be reborn."
Tota Arhat murmured, his voice weak but laced with a hint of finality.
He slowly closed his eyes, as if bidding a final farewell to the world.
Then, with the last of his strength, he raised the dim Seven-Colored Pagoda in both hands and gently pressed it to the spot between his eyebrows.
In that instant, a strange scene unfolded.
Tota Arhat’s face turned pale as paper at a visible rate, the very color of life mercilessly drained from his body by an unseen force.
His skin gradually lost its color, becoming as cold and lifeless as marble.
And as his face grew paler, the once-dim Seven-Colored Pagoda began to shine with ever-increasing intensity, as if nourished by some powerful force.
The weariness in Tota Arhat’s eyes deepened,
and his voice grew faint, but he put the last of his strength into every word. "We never expected that Chu He’s plan had already succeeded.
But we cannot simply sit here and wait for death. We must fight back.
Beckett, Guerrero, I will create an opportunity for you.
I will burn away my life and pour all my power into the explosion of the Seven-Colored Pagoda,
using my life force to unleash the Seven-Colored Pagoda’s strongest Domain.
Within the Seven-Colored Pagoda’s Domain, Chu He will be completely suppressed.
But you also know that compared to Chu He, the gap between my current power and his is simply too vast.
This suppression can last for five minutes at most.
You must make the most of these five minutes, because you know in your hearts that with Chu He’s current power, if he is allowed to walk out of here,
