After a moment of silence, Uchiha Xuan spoke softly, looking at Tsunade’s serious face.

"Hmph, it better be that way. Xuan, if in the upcoming battle... I unfortunately die, remember to avenge me after you become a powerful ninja, okay? Outside the Konohagakure camp, Hanzo of the Salamander stood on a tree trunk, his eyes fixed intently on the Konohagakure camp ahead, his thoughts unknown.

Behind him, all the elite ninja of the Hidden Rain Village wore gas masks, their eyes filled with fervent admiration as they stared at Hanzo’s back.

"Kill."

Finally, Hanzo’s eyes were replaced with icy killing intent. Without any lengthy pre-battle speech, only a cold command to kill escaped his lips.

With Hanzo’s order, the final assault of the Hidden Rain Village officially began.

"Ibuse, I leave it to you. Summoning Technique!"

Watching the charging Rain ninja, Hanzo formed hand seals. White smoke erupted as a giant salamander was summoned into existence.

"Ibuse, cover the entire battlefield with poisonous miasma!"

The moment the summoning was complete, Hanzo immediately issued his command.

"Eeeng!"

With a cry resembling that of an infant, the giant salamander suddenly opened its mouth wide. Turbid poisonous gas surged forth like a tidal wave, spreading toward the Konohagakure camp.

"Everyone, take the antidote pills immediately! Lady Katsuyu, I leave it to you!"

"Leave it to me."

With the Byakugan of the Hyūga clan, it was difficult for the Konohagakure camp to be successfully ambushed. The moment Hanzo appeared outside the camp, the entire Konohagakure camp had already sprung into action.

At the forefront of the crowd, Tsunade, clad in gray battle armor, calmly directed all Konohagakure ninja to take the antidote pills she and Uchiha Xuan had prepared in advance.

Simultaneously, countless slugs, already summoned and divided among every Konohagakure ninja, began to emit faint green light.

The moment Hanzo revealed himself, two attacks simultaneously struck from different directions. The attackers were none other than Orochimaru and Jiraiya.

However, facing their assault, Hanzo merely raised his hand and lightly swung his scythe, cleaving through the entwining snakes and the fireball.

"Monstrous Strength!"

Seizing the opportunity created by her comrades’ attack, Tsunade delivered a powerful punch to the giant salamander’s body. A dull thud echoed, yet the giant salamander showed no reaction whatsoever.

"Damn it, this fat is too thick! Xuan!"

Seeing her attack fail to penetrate his defense, Tsunade immediately turned aside, clearing the way for Uchiha Xuan behind her to seize the offensive.

Zzt!

A piercing thunderclap echoed as flickering lightning danced in Uchiha Xuan’s hand, the chaotic chorus of a thousand birds crying out amidst the curtain of rain.
