With a quick thought, Ebizo devised a countermeasure. The Konohagakure ninja’s fighting style couldn’t be sustained for long. In this situation, only puppets could effectively counter them.

"Just what we were waiting for. Shizune, notify the Konohagakure vanguard battalion to fall back and recuperate! Sakumo, it’s up to you."

Nara Shikanin, who had been closely watching the battlefield, brightened upon seeing this and immediately issued orders to the Yamanaka ninja beside him, while also speaking softly to the empty air before him.

"Understood."

A crimson glint flashed in his eyes as three tomoe spun gently, linking together before swiftly separating again.

The sound of something cutting through the air rang out as an iron spike shot toward him from a distance.

"Well, look what I found—a little brat! Hahahaha, has Konohagakure run out of people? Sending a snot-nosed kid to the battlefield.

Boys, our luck seems pretty good today. If he can deflect my Ant Spike, this brat must be one of Konohagakure’s genius ninjas, right?"

"Killing a ninja like this, just thinking about it is thrilling!"

From the direction the iron spike came, a Sunagakure ninja with several threads connected to his hands glared ferociously at Uchiha Xuan. Beside him, a pitch-black puppet stood with its mouth agape.

That iron spike had been shot by this puppet.
