Naruto: The Ridiculously Talented Uzumaki

Chapter 480: The Seventh Hokage’s Family

"I’m home!"

Boruto pushed open the front door with some trepidation, and the warm light from the entryway spilled out.

In the living room, four people were already seated, all looking toward the door in unison.

The Seventh Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto, wore a gentle and relaxed smile, while Hyuga Hinata sat beside him, her hands elegantly folded on her lap, a familiar gentle smile on her face, though her pure Byakugan eyes held scrutiny and curiosity toward the stranger.

Uzumaki Himawari sat obediently next to her mother, her large, azure eyes—just like her father’s—blinking curiously as she looked toward the door.

Kawaki, meanwhile, had his arms crossed, his expression cold and stern, his eyes sharp as a hawk’s, unashamedly sizing up the visitor.

Clearly, all four of them were waiting for Boruto and the "special guest" he had brought back.

"Welcome home!"

The Seventh Hokage spoke first, waving enthusiastically at his son and his counterpart from another world, his tone light and cheerful.

It was rare for him not to work overtime today; Shikamaru had volunteered to stay behind and handle a few days’ worth of paperwork for him.

Himawari and Kawaki’s gazes were focused more on Young Naruto and the silver-haired little girl beside him.

Hinata’s gaze lingered on Young Naruto’s face for a moment before naturally shifting away, landing more on the silver-haired little girl, who looked only about ten years old yet possessed an extraordinary aura, held by Young Naruto’s hand.

In her observation, the Young Naruto before her indeed resembled her husband in his youth by seventy or eighty percent, but that was merely a physical resemblance.

Even if he were "Naruto" from another world, he was not the Uzumaki Naruto she liked, loved deeply, and had weathered storms with.

He did not possess the details and traits that could evoke her deep memories, those exclusive to her Naruto.

When her husband was young, although his smile was just as bright, it always carried a bit of simple honesty, or even what one could call "goofy" sincerity, and his eyes were clear, full of forward-charging drive and occasional clumsiness.

Yet the youth before her, while his smile was also bright, was clearly much more mature and composed; deep in his eyes seemed to hide much more, and even his hairstyle had subtle differences from the Young Naruto in her memory.

They were completely two different "people."

"Sorry for the intrusion."

Young Naruto held Otohime’s hand and followed Boruto into the living room, bowing slightly with great politeness, his tone calm as he spoke.

The three of them arrived at the dining table. It was a bit cramped for seven people, but with two little girls and three youths at the table, they could manage to sit.

Young Naruto released Otohime’s hand, took out the three-colored dango he had bought earlier, and handed it to Himawari, who was looking up at him with curiosity from his left.

"Wow! Thank you, big brother!"

Himawari immediately took it happily, thanked him sweetly, her large eyes crinkling into crescents.

She had a very good first impression of this big brother, who looked a lot like her father and brother, and even brought her snacks.

"You’re welcome."

Young Naruto straightened up, looked at the Seventh Hokage and Hinata, and explained: "For the sake of convenience and to avoid confusion, please call me ’Souma’ during this time."

He adopted the name he had used when filming the movie earlier.

Hearing this, the Seventh Hokage nodded, accommodating him easily: "Alright, Souma."

He began to introduce his family to Young Naruto: "This is my wife, Hinata."

Hinata nodded slightly in greeting.

"My daughter, Himawari."

Himawari hugged the dango and sweetly called out, "Big brother Souma."

"And my apprentice, Kawaki."

The Seventh Hokage pointed to the cold-faced Kawaki.

Himawari was indeed very cute, having the same hair color as her mother Hinata, but inheriting her father Uzumaki Naruto’s clear, azure eyes, combining the best of her parents.

As for Kawaki, he had short black hair on top with golden temples, a stern face, and sharp eyes.

His gaze toward Young Naruto was always filled with undisguised sizing up and scrutiny, but when his eyes turned to Otohime beside Young Naruto, that scrutiny instantly transformed into undisguised, icy killing intent.

Clearly, he held deep hatred and vigilance toward the Otsutsuki.

Young Naruto seemed oblivious to Kawaki’s hostile gaze and introduced her calmly: "This is Otsutsuki Otohime. I need to borrow her ability to return to my world, so she will stay by my side for the time being. I will restrain her actions to ensure she poses no threat to anyone in this world and will not take action."

"Hmph, it better be that way."

Hearing Young Naruto’s words, Kawaki snorted coldly, his voice icy.

"Don’t think that just because you look like the Seventh Hokage, I will trust you. I will keep an eye on you! Especially that Otsutsuki!"

Facing Kawaki’s blunt warning and hostility, Young Naruto just smiled dismissively, neither refuting nor getting angry.

He didn’t take the threat from this "child" Kawaki to heart at all; or rather, he understood Kawaki’s position and emotions but didn’t consider it a substantial obstacle.

"Sorry, Souma. Kawaki has... been through some things, so regarding the Otsutsuki..."

The Seventh Hokage, seeing this, wanted to explain apologetically, not wanting things to get too awkward on their first meeting.

"It’s fine."

Young Naruto interrupted the Seventh Hokage’s explanation and waved his hand at him, indicating he didn’t mind.

His gaze swept across the living room, as if confirming something.

Then, under the astonished gazes of everyone, Young Naruto’s eyes changed into Obito’s Kamui Sharingan.

The air in front of him rippled like water, and a vortex-shaped spatial rift with twisted edges and a deep interior appeared out of thin air.

Kamui!

Immediately after, two small figures walked out of it, holding hands.

They were none other than Hyuga Hinata and Hyuga Hanabi, whom Young Naruto had sent into the Kamui Dimension for protection earlier while on the moon!

The two little girls had clearly spent quite some time in the Kamui Dimension; although safe, it had been boring and nerve-wracking.

Now, suddenly released, seeing the strange environment and people—especially seeing the adult version of her sister, a youth who looked like Naruto, an adult with short blonde hair, and a little girl who looked five or six parts similar to young Hinata—the two were a bit dazed, subconsciously huddling together, their little faces filled with confusion and a hint of wariness.

The moment adult Hinata saw these two little girls, she stood up abruptly, her pure Byakugan filled with unbelievable shock and concern! She recognized at a glance that this was clearly what she looked like as a child, and what her sister Hanabi looked like as a child.

What on earth was going on?

The Seventh Hokage, Naruto, also widened his eyes in surprise, Boruto’s mouth was agape, Kawaki’s brows furrowed even tighter, and Himawari looked curiously between the two new big sisters and her mother.

The atmosphere in the living room became even more subtle, complex, and... chaotic due to the sudden appearance of Hanabi and Hinata.

Young Naruto looked at everyone’s varied expressions and explained: "The situation was dangerous at the time, and Hinata and Hanabi were by my side, so I temporarily put them into the Kamui Dimension."

The Seventh Hokage and Hinata exchanged a glance; they sensed something was wrong.
