Naruto: Sovereign of Genjutsu

Chapter 469 - 469: Daemon and EIDA

  • Next Chapter

Four years later.

"Eight Extremes: Break Crusher!"

Inside Kaguya's space, Saitama struck a fist into empty air. The surrounding space distorted violently in an instant, fracturing and shattering into pieces like glass breaking apart.

"Hey, hey! Brother, are you trying to kill your own big brother?!"

A flash of blinding light vanished instantly and reappeared right behind Saitama. Keigo Tobitake looked back at Saitama, his heart still beating with lingering shock.

He clutched a scientific ninja tool tightly in his hand, mumbling complaints without end.

Hearing that, Saitama tilted his head in confusion. "Ah? Brother, didn't you say you wanted to test out your Spark Lens?"

"I said I wanted to test the combat power of the Spark Lens, not test whether I could take one of your fists head-on!"

Keigo Tobitake was completely speechless.

He looked down at the Spark Lens scientific ninja tool in his hands, a smile breaking across his face.

He, too, was now a wielder of a Kekkei Tota.

That's right—he had successfully developed the Kekkei Tota: Light Style, and had already created a series of Light Style ninjutsu.

However, all of these techniques came with one strict requirement: they could not be released directly from his physical body.

He had to channel them through a ninja tool medium to unleash the Light Style.

Because his precise control over three elemental chakra natures simultaneously was still insufficient, his body couldn't directly manipulate the synthetic properties of light on its own.

It required the restraint and regulation of a specialized ninja tool to be controlled effectively.

"Honestly, I have no idea what Mirai Sarutobi sees in a guy like you!"

Speaking of this, Keigo sighed with emotion.

Thank goodness he had gotten a girlfriend of his own, or else he'd be truly at a loss for words.

Saitama let out a silly chuckle and scratched his head. Truth be told, he didn't really know why Mirai liked him either.

Love was just love, he supposed.

Besides, he felt the same way about her.

It was just that her father seemed to hold a bit of a grudge against him.

Thankfully, his own dad was around to shoulder that pressure for him.

CLANG!

Just as the two brothers were about to resume their discussion on ninjutsu, a spatial void suddenly tore open in the middle of the dimension.

Two figures stepped out from within the rift.

One looked like a young child, holding a lollipop in his hand.

The other had a slender, delicate waist, long shapely legs, and vibrant multi-colored hair styled in a striking, non-mainstream fashion.

Her eyes gleamed with a strange, magnetic spark.

Keigo Tobitake sensed their arrival instantly and whipped his head around. "Who are you?! How did you get in here?!"

Tightening his grip on the Spark Lens, streams of diagnostic data flashed across his eyes in an instant.

"Kara members?" he blurted out a moment later.

Given the necessary capability and motive, they were almost certainly members of Kara.

"Oh? You actually recognize us?" EIDA looked toward Keigo Tobitake.

Keigo gave her a deep, searching look before turning to Saitama. "Take action. Wipe them out."

Saitama nodded, "Got it."

He always listened to his older brother. Without another word, he launched himself forward, aiming his attack straight at the child-like figure.

Suddenly—

BANG!

Saitama was sent flying backward through the air by his own force.

Keigo's pupils shrank in shock. "This is..."

He suddenly recalled something his father had told him long ago.

Back then, he was only three years old.

His dad had once brought up some strange, abstract questions. Considering Saitama's current situation, a critical piece of intelligence clicked in his mind.

"Reflection of Intent—an Otsutsuki divine technique!"

Realizing this, he shouted at the top of his lungs, "Saitama, watch out! You can't attack that kid—only defend! Go attack the other one!"

The moment he shouted, both Daemon and EIDA were completely stunned.

Good grief—to think a simple preliminary probe was enough for him to analyze and decipher their abilities?

Is this the current level of Konoha's strategic intelligence?

"Looks like information regarding our abilities was leaked by someone within our organization," Daemon remarked.

EIDA nodded in agreement. "Be careful. That guy's taijutsu is terrifyingly strong."

Her ability was Senrigan—the Omniscience.

Before stepping into this space, she had already scouted their intelligence beforehand.

Even across dimensions, her eyes were capable of perceiving target information.

Only in areas reinforced with specialized sealing barriers was her vision obstructed.

Unfortunately, Konoha had built countless such sealed zones, which made gathering intelligence far more tedious than expected.

Daemon grumbled, "Honestly! Having the two of us act just to deal with two brats... I have no idea what Amado is thinking!"

BOOM!

Even as they spoke, Saitama materialized directly before EIDA.

At nineteen years old, Saitama had long since unlocked his physical limiters. The sheer, straightforward momentum in his body was fully unleashed—the raw pressure of his fist alone caused space itself to tremble as it approached.

The surging chakra roared like a beast!

His fist technique unleashed a deafening howl.

EIDA's eyes flashed with her charm ability, locking directly onto Saitama's gaze.

However, she quickly realized something was terribly wrong—he was completely unaffected by her charm.

My charm ability... failed?! she thought in shock.

SWISH!

Daemon suddenly flashed right in front of Saitama, positioning himself directly in the path of the incoming fist.

BANG!

In an instant, Saitama was sent flying backward once again.

He flew far across the terrain.

Because it was not driven by deliberate malicious intent, coupled with his monstrous physical durability, the reflection caused Saitama no real harm.

He was simply hurled backward across a massive distance.

Meanwhile, Keigo Tobitake had already used his specialized communicator technology to notify their father, who was still conducting research in the lab.

He had thoroughly figured it out: these two were precisely the threats his father had been preparing against all along.

Or rather, these two specific individuals.

Countering their broken capabilities required their father's direct intervention to suppress them completely.

For the two brothers, holding their ground in defense was the absolute limit of what they could achieve on their own.

"Oh? His body is remarkably tough, but his toolkit seems far too straightforward," Daemon noted.

After observing the exchange, both Daemon and EIDA deduced that these two brothers likely possessed limited versatility compared to themselves.

Or rather, their abilities weren't nearly as broken as their own.

...

Back in his laboratory, Tonbo Tobitake was mid-experiment when he suddenly picked up an abnormal fluctuation.

Sensing the disturbance, a stream of encoded telemetry data flooded his mind.

"Hmm? Enemies invaded Kaguya's dimension? How did they manage that?"

He couldn't fathom how, but there was no need to dwell on it—capturing the intruders was all that mattered.

He wove a series of hand seals at blinding speed.

The spatial coordinates embedded within his two sons activated instantly.

In a fraction of a second, he materialized directly inside the pocket dimension.

The moment he arrived, he saw his two sons being chased around by two women—or rather, Saitama was eager to fight, only to be repeatedly repelled by the boy's divine technique.

"I see... So that's the Reflection of Intent? What an impressive divine technique."

Tonbo Tobitake analyzed the situation in an instant, reflecting on the preparations he had made beforehand.

As for the other woman who could use charm, thankfully he had placed a protective measure inside his son's mind ahead of time.

Otherwise, Saitama would have already been placed under her control.

Even so, Keigo Tobitake was currently relying on his Light Style to continuously flee and keep his distance—forming a stark contrast to Saitama's direct, brute-force approach.

Mid-battle, Daemon and EIDA instantly sensed the new arrival.

Both pushed back to create distance, turning their attention toward Tonbo Tobitake.

"What incredible speed!"

They were astonished by how quickly he had detected the intrusion—and how fast he had appeared.

"Hmm... Excellent. I was worried my preparations would go to waste, but it turns out they'll come in handy after all."

Tonbo Tobitake remembered these two—they were cyborgs whose bodies had been modified using the cells of Shibai Otsutsuki.

Now, it seemed he had a chance to secure a fresh set of high-grade research specimens.

Perhaps they would prove useful for ongoing scientific breakthroughs.

He found himself admiring Orochimaru more and more; the man's scientific creativity was truly an endless wellspring.

It was far more versatile than his own brain, which was primarily focused on applied ninjutsu development.

As long as they had test subjects, he believed Orochimaru would undoubtedly develop even greater tools to counter incoming threats.

SHIBA!

He materialized in front of his two sons in a flash, shielding them behind his back.

"You two just sit back and watch. Watch how your dad beats them up. Trying to lay a hand on my sons—they must have a death wish."

"Got it, Dad!"

The two brothers immediately retreated far into the distance, sitting back to watch the battle unfold.
