Chapter 189 181 New Provisions

One day later.

Relying on the Sage Body and Medical Ninjutsu, Uchiha Gen recovered his physical condition in just one day.

Over on Orochimaru's side, he was still relying on the intelligence provided by Danzo to constantly play games with Kumogakure, creating a more suitable timing for the decisive battle.

Although the atmosphere was becoming increasingly oppressive, and everyone knew that a major battle could erupt at any moment, Uchiha Gen was now one of the top high-ranking figures for Konoha here in the Land of Hot Springs, and he still had a good understanding of Konoha's movements.

Orochimaru's style in war command was also like a venomous snake, pursuing a single blow to defeat the enemy. Precisely because of this, when the enemy did not reveal any flaws, he would not easily make a move, but instead would create flaws through continuous probing, intimidation, pulling, deception, feigned attacks, and other methods, and then wait for an opportunity to act.

According to Uchiha Gen's judgment, within these next day or two, Orochimaru wouldn't make any moves yet, which also left Uchiha Gen with a little time to do other things.

"Licorice powder, coix seed powder ———— and mixed concentrated medicinal juice, kneaded into balls with the honey of bees raised by the Aburame Clan, and then dried."

Inside the tent, rows of white-gray pills were neatly placed in front of Uchiha Gen, emitting a strong, strange fragrance.

Previously, under the guise of treating the clan head's injuries, he had asked the two elders for a large amount of top-tier medical equipment, and had already detected the medicinal ingredient ratio of this premium Military Rations Pill back in Konoha.

Compared to the mainstream circulating on the market, the medicinal ingredient ratio of this premium Military Rations Pill was nearly ninety percent identical.

As for the remaining ones, some could be found in the Shinobi World, while others didn't exist at all.

Uchiha Gen could only compromise, searching for substitutes in the Shinobi World according to the medicinal properties that could be detected.

After many repeated experiments and referencing the formulation processes of a large number of different types of Military Rations Pills, the product before him was the final result.

Although it couldn't compare to the original version, after testing, its Chakra recovery effect was also several points stronger than most products on the market, worthy of being called a top-grade product. Just based on this point alone, putting his Military Rations Pill on the market wouldn't worry about selling; how much he could earn entirely depended on how much of a gap could be created between the price and the cost.

But what truly satisfied Uchiha Gen was that under the combination of the medicinal properties in this Military Rations Pill, it could also stimulate the activity of the human body's own Yang Release Chakra and alleviate a portion of the injuries.

As for the purification effect, Uchiha Gen didn't understand how it came about, only speculating that it was related to some of the materials which were absent in the Shinobi World, thus making it impossible to replicate.

The rest were the common flaws possessed by almost all Military Rations Pills.

After all, the principle of Military Rations Pills was to concentrate a large amount of energy-containing nutrients, allowing the user to quickly digest and absorb them in a short period, recover physical strength, and rapidly convert this energy into Chakra.

Digesting a large amount of nutrition and absorbing energy in a short time was unbearable for anyone. Except for that premium Military Rations Pill produced by the system, which used other methods to greatly reduce this impact to an almost negligible degree, it was basically impossible for others to avoid this point.

Uchiha Gen's version was the same; the side effects were even slightly greater than those Military Rations Pills of the Nara Clan. If two pills were taken continuously in a short time, it would also cause a small burden to the internal organs. However, because the materials used were solid, it was still much better than ordinary Military Rations Pills.

However, today, what Uchiha Gen wanted to do was to process these Military Rations Pills further.

Medicinal materials, medicinal juice, and honey had all been prepared anew, and this time he was also going to add some new materials into them.

"Drip, drip ———— "

Drops of fresh blood flowed down in streams, flowing into the glass bottle.

His strongest recovery method right now was not Military Rations Pills and Medical Ninjutsu, but his own physical body.

Taking a bite could recover half a life; the Shinobi World could hardly find a better healing medicine than this. If he could blend his own fresh blood into the Military Rations Pill and retain the effects of both, it would be even more perfect.

If he encountered dangerous situations in the future, he certainly couldn't just bite himself dry like he did on the way to contract the Rashomon.

If the enemy saw it on the battlefield, and knowing this intelligence, figured out a way to bite a piece of meat off him, wouldn't they also be able to recover health?

"The effect doesn't seem to have met expectations."

After swallowing a Military Rations Pill, Uchiha Gen frowned slightly, feeling somewhat less than expected.

"The Healing Body doesn't mean turning my physical body into some precious medicinal herb; what truly plays a role is the powerful Yang Release Chakra born within the body. I still need to stimulate the Yang Release Chakra on my body, guide it into the blood, and then it will be suitable to use as a material."

After deducing the reasons, Uchiha Gen started trying again.

Blood was something that, if too much flowed out, would cause a non-negligible impact on the body. However, with Medical Ninjutsu, taking out some more in a short time was still not a big problem.

"Yin Healing Wound Destruction."

The powerful Yang Release Chakra surged within his body once more, and soon, Uchiha Gen encountered a problem again.

That was when he mobilized the Yang Release Chakra in his body, the self-healing effect seemed a bit too strong.

As soon as the wound was cut, before a few drops of blood could flow out, it automatically scabbed over and recovered.

Having no other choice, Uchiha Gen could only give up using the Chakra Scalpel, drew the Sengoku Ninja Sword, and gave his own arm a vicious slash.

This time, he finally collected enough fresh blood before the wound healed.

"When drying, attention must be paid to the temperature; it cannot be too high to cause the blood to deform due to high temperature, nor can the blood interfere with the medicinal property combination of the herbs themselves. In that case, it can only be mixed into beeswax."

"Perhaps the Delicate Illness Extraction Technique can be used to excrete the moisture in the herbs as toxins, thus skipping the drying process."

As thoughts flashed through his mind, Uchiha Gen quickly modified the medicine-making process again and started working.

Over an hour later.

Another batch of new Military Rations Pills was produced.

It still had that pungent, strange fragrance, but on the surface of this batch of Military Rations Pills, a trace of red appeared over the grayish-white color.

This time, Uchiha Gen didn't use a Shadow Clone to attack himself again; instead, he directly changed into a solid inner armor, wrapped it in a green Konoha Shinobi vest, stretched out his hands to form hand seals once more, and then, carrying a few Military Rations Pills, headed towards the Rashomon Canyon again.

The first three doors were familiar ground, and he passed through them smoothly all the way.

After passing the third door, Uchiha Gen slowed his pace, hard-bearing the erosion of the chilling wind blades and Yin Release Chakra here, and carefully observed everything around him with his Three-Tomoe Sharingan.

If he felt that his Chakra consumption was too great and his body's injuries were relatively heavy, he would swallow a special Military Rations Pill.
