Corazon and Law were dead.

Shin had claimed the Op-Op Fruit. Even if Law had escaped this time, his fate was sealed. The very fruit that could have cured his illness was now in Shin’s possession.

“He was your own brother, yet you could kill him without hesitation… you’re a cold piece of work,” Shin remarked, looking at Doflamingo with a flat expression.

“He brought it on himself. I gave him everything, and he betrayed me.” Doflamingo’s face was a mask of indifference.

He wasn’t entirely heartless. He cared for his family and subordinates. But Corazon had betrayed him—Betrayal was the one thing no one could accept. Corazon’s betrayal had completely killed any affection Doflamingo had for him.

“Your brother, your business. His death means nothing to me. But now, I believe we have a score to settle.”

The expression on Shin’s face turned cold, and a heavy, oppressive feeling spread through the area.

“Where are the rest of your Donquixote Family? Aren’t you going to call them over, so they can die with you?”

————

“VERGO, WE’RE LEAVING.”

Doflamingo suddenly used his Sky’s Path, attaching strings to the clouds above to walk through the air.

However, this technique had a critical weakness. If there was nothing to attach to—like if there were no clouds in the sky—then this move became useless.

“Hancock, stop them.” Shin didn’t move. He simply gave the order to Hancock.

“I’ll kill them both.”

“Leave one breathing. Sometimes, a living person is more valuable than a corpse.”

Shin shook his head slightly.

Hancock knew exactly who to spare. Doflamingo, of course. Vergo was worthless.

————

“<Gale Slash!>”

Hancock unleashed the swordsmanship Shin had taught her. This was one of the few sword techniques Hancock could master.

Hancock couldn’t learn Shin’s other sword techniques—or rather, her physique couldn’t meet the requirements to perform them.

With a single slash, a thousand wind blades tore through the air, even slicing through the clouds above. Doflamingo fell from the sky.

As for Vergo, he was now desperately dodging Hancock’s attacks. When he couldn’t dodge, he had to block head-on.

Vergo’s strength was equivalent to a Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral—no small feat. Against Hancock, he wouldn’t go down easily.

Marine Vice Admirals weren’t pushovers. Perhaps the branch Vice Admirals in the Four Seas were, but the Headquarters Vice Admirals were all formidable fighters.

Some of the stronger Vice Admirals could even hold their own against an Admiral. And Vergo could trade a few blows with an Admiral, at least not being instantly defeated.

“<Shave!>”

Hancock’s figure vanished instantly, reappearing behind Vergo and kicking out at him.

“<Iron Body!>”

After activating Iron Body, Vergo immediately layered on Armament Haki. Even so, he was sent flying by Hancock’s strike.

“You’re not escaping either.”

After sending Vergo flying, Hancock swung her sword again, the sword aura blocking the fleeing Doflamingo.

Hancock, who rarely engaged in serious combat, was thoroughly enjoying herself. She attacked with everything she had, forcing Doflamingo and Vergo into desperate defense.

————

“IF THIS KEEPS UP, WE’LL BE KILLED SOONER OR LATER! WE HAVE TO FIGHT BACK!” Doflamingo’s sunglasses had fallen to the ground. He roared in fury.

Vergo nodded. “Doffy, if it comes to it, I’ll buy you time. You escape.”

Doflamingo didn’t say anything. If it really came to that critical moment, that would be the only way. After all, he was far more important than Vergo.

Without Doflamingo, the Donquixote Family would collapse instantly.

Shin sat on a chair he had created out of thin air, a spectator to the show. The only thing missing was some popcorn.

“<Overheat!>”

Doflamingo used this move again. It had killed Corazon and Law, but against Hancock, it was useless.

A single slash from her sword cut the strings. Hancock’s strength was nothing to scoff at. She now possessed the Perfect Sage Body.

And her diet consisted of Sea Kings. Though she looked slender—the power she could unleash was unimaginable.

“<Finger Pistol!>”

Vergo’s voice came from behind Hancock as he launched a merciless attack. Going after a beautiful woman with such killing intent… this guy had to be some kind of bitter incel.

————

After the attack landed, Vergo didn’t feel the sensation of hitting a solid body. It felt like hitting empty air.

Then he saw Hancock’s figure in front of him fade away.

“CRAP!!!” Vergo instantly knew something was wrong. What he had hit was just an afterimage.

Swish!

The sound of a blade slicing through flesh rang out. Vergo was cut down by Hancock’s sword, a huge gash appearing on his back.

“Is that all you’ve got?? HOW DISAPPOINTING.” Hancock’s face showed a look of disappointment.

“This woman…”

Cold sweat dripped from Doflamingo’s forehead. This was an unprecedented enemy. He had never suffered such a huge loss before.

“Doffy, run! I’ll hold her off—” Vergo stood up, supporting his body, ignoring his pale face from excessive blood loss.

“Vergo, I will avenge you.”

Doflamingo turned and fled, his speed incredibly fast.

————

“Hmph! If you escaped with Shin watching, I’d look like a complete idiot.” Hancock snorted lightly, instantly bypassing Vergo and charging towards Doflamingo.

Doflamingo tried to use his Parasite String, but before any threads could reach Hancock, her sword sliced right through them. His strings were incredibly fine—almost transparent and nearly impossible to see with the naked eye.

But with Observation Haki, every attack could be anticipated. Doflamingo was completely outmatched.

“GET BACK HERE!”

Hancock slashed down. Facing this incredibly fast slash—Doflamingo had no chance to dodge and could only block it head-on.

Countless strings formed a spiderweb to block all physical attacks from the front.

Ame no Habakiri was a Great Grade Sword. The blade sliced through one string instantly, then cut through all the others in quick succession. Though the strings delayed Hancock for a split second, it wasn’t enough for him to escape. All he could do was throw up his arms to block.

Armament Haki coated his arms in black. The blade pierced through his defense, but it didn’t sever Doflamingo’s hands.

A deep, bone-visible wound made Doflamingo’s arms tremble, blood dripping to the ground, quickly staining a large patch of earth red.

“Sorry, Doffy. I couldn’t stop her…” Vergo said to Doflamingo with some guilt.

Hancock’s speed had been too overwhelming. Vergo wanted to intercept her, but his reaction was a step too slow.

“…” Doflamingo didn’t blame Vergo at this moment.

After that clash, he understood exactly how powerful this woman was. And this was with Shin Uzumaki not even lifting a finger. They had fallen into a desperate situation.
