Hiroshi felt a nagging sense that something was going to happen once they reached the lake, but he couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was. Since he didn’t have any premonitions, he had no idea what kind of danger they might face. All he could do was wait and see.

"I just hope nothing bad happens to us. And I’m sure nothing too terrible will happen there. After all, it’s a famous landmark, so there must be people there to protect us visitors!" Hiroshi thought to himself, trying to reassure himself with a smile.

But just then, the System, which had been silent for a long time, suddenly issued a shocking new mission to Hiroshi.

"Ding! Host has successfully received a new mission."

"Mission content: Arrive at the Lake of Mirrors and defeat the Black Tortoise within the Lake of Mirrors."

Hiroshi was stunned when he heard the System’s announcement. He couldn’t believe how accurate his intuition had been. Now he finally knew what that feeling of danger was all about. It all made sense now.

"Oh no, this can’t be happening! The plot twist is so dramatic! I thought this was going to be a relaxing vacation. I never expected to encounter such a mythical beast there, especially one hiding at the bottom of the lake. It looks like this won’t be an easy fight!" Hiroshi thought to himself.

Hiroshi felt incredibly unlucky. This was supposed to be a nice holiday, but the System had turned it into a mission zone. This was really bad news.

Now, Hiroshi had to stay vigilant and alert even while they were enjoying themselves. He had to keep an eye out for when the Black Tortoise would appear, ensuring both his and Harumiko’s safety, and be ready to eliminate it the moment it showed itself.

"It seems I have no choice but to stay on guard now. Once we get there, I need to be constantly alert. I’m pretty sure that with my current strength, taking down that little turtle should be a piece of cake. Unless, of course, its power is significantly greater than mine. But that’s unlikely, since all the missions the System gives me are always within my capabilities and never beyond my reach!" Hiroshi thought to himself, feeling a little uneasy.

Harumiko noticed Hiroshi’s unsettled demeanor. She gently patted his shoulder and whispered, "Hiroshi, what’s wrong? You seem to have something on your mind, and your expression looks quite serious!"

Hiroshi shook his head with a smile and whispered, "It’s nothing, really. I just miss my home a little. I really want to go back soon and get some good rest at home. I wonder what changes have happened there?"

"And I really want to see if little Naruto has grown up. He was only one or two years old when we left, so he should be around three or four now. He must be a little kid now. I wonder how strong he’ll be," Hiroshi continued, shaking his head slightly.

Harumiko nodded, smiling. She also missed her home very much and wondered what had changed. They just had to endure a little longer, and then they could go back and see everything for themselves.

"Don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll be home soon. Then we can finally get some good rest!" Harumiko whispered, smiling at him.

Hiroshi nodded in agreement. He felt the same way. They still had to enjoy themselves here for a while and explore the area properly before heading home.

"Alright, alright, let’s not worry about anything else then. We just need to have a good time today. I really hope the place lives up to my expectations!" Hiroshi said, forcing a cheerful smile.

Just then, the owner brought over their order: four steamed buns and two bowls of rice porridge. He carefully placed them on their table.

"Here you go, kids. Your food is ready. Be careful, it’s hot!" the bun shop owner said with a gentle smile.

Hiroshi and Harumiko both nodded and thanked the owner with a smile.

"Alright, our food is here. Let’s eat quickly, and then we can set off!" Hiroshi said, handing a spoon and a pair of chopsticks to Harumiko.
