Chapter 512 (2): Goddess, Come Out and Clean the Table!

  • Next Chapter

Master bedroom on the second floor.

Mona and Vichy had been sated. Since she was having trouble taking more, too, Anastasia slowly closed her eyes, calling out to the Goddess of Darkness.

Goddess, come out and clean the table!

(눈‸눈)

Ines scowled. What did She say before? Holy Maidens should be abolished by the Church of Darkness, especially a Holy Maiden covered in filth like Anastasia. She brought dishonor to Darkness and should never be allowed to enter the Divine Realm.

Ines huffed, throwing Herself into Wayne’s arms and whining, “Wayne, Anastasia bullied me. She has desecrated her god. Kill her and avenge me now.”

What are you saying? Don’t you know how much I like her?

Wayne gave the correct answer in his head while holding Ines and stroking Her delicate shoulder, speaking in an adoring tone, “You’re stunning, An—Ines, who has descended through Ana. You’re my only goddess.”

Thud!

As expected, Wayne ended up kicked off the bed.

Also as expected, Ines forgot about the displeasure of being humiliated by Her own Holy Maiden and vented all her anger on Wayne instead.

The tongue action escalated into full-body action, moving from the bed to the vanity and then back to the foot of the bed. In the end, they resolved their conflict through hand-shaking.

Wayne tucked the beauty’s red hair behind her ear, planting a kiss on Her forehead. He said lovingly, “You’re stunning, Ines.”

“Ha, you’re all talk. You only ever have other women in your eyes.” Ines met Wayne’s gaze and saw Anastasia’s reflection. She rolled Her eyes. This scumbag!

“You can’t blame me for that,” Wayne said unhappily. “I would like to appreciate my goddess’s real form, but you never give me the chance.”

“What? Do you want to enter the Divine Realm of Darkness?” Ines lay on top of him, propping herself up on her elbows. Her dark eyes fixed on him. “I’ve warned you many times. Have you not given up?”

“I know you don’t have the heart to hurt me.” Wayne stroked Her face, injecting every word with affection.

Ines first felt a bloom of warmth before realization hit Her. “You... What did you get in the Divine Realm of Death?”

“You’re finally willing to ask about Aztimor. I thought you’d always—”

Thud!

Ines pulled Her foot back with displeasure. She grunted, “Do not mention Death in front of me, and with such familiarity. ‘Death’ is the word I hate the most right now!”

What a coincidence. Aztimor has said the same about you!

Wayne climbed back onto the bed and put on an earnest expression. “You’ve misunderstood Aztimor. She and I haven’t done it.”

At least not for now!

“Hmph, if you’ve done it, you’ve done it. If I’m the type to get jealous, I would’ve killed all of your lovers already.” Ines pulled a long face. “Why wouldn’t you admit it? Why are you angering me on purpose? Do you see me as the kind of unreasonable woman who will get angry at you?”

Ines had ignored Wayne’s harem not because She wasn’t the jealous type, but because She didn’t take them seriously. It was for the same reason that She had possessed Vichy and pushed Her own knight into Wayne’s arms.

Little girls aren’t good enough to compete with Darkness. I can easily make you his ex-girlfriends with a little trick.

Since Ines was mad, Wayne opened his heart to let Ines see the truth for herself. Everything he had acquired in the Underworld was there.

Frowning, Ines pressed Her fingertips to his chest. Her eyes widened in horror, and Her heart thumped.

Why was there so much? Had Aztimor gone mad? Where did She get the courage to do all this, making even Ines pale in comparison?

Suddenly, a possibility occurred to Ines. With a conflicted expression, She lowered Her head and murmured, “So, she has claimed you first. I’ve always been part of your plan—hmph...”

“Where did my confident, prideful goddess go? Why are you feeling insecure like a little girl? Have you fallen in love?” Wayne teased after the kiss. Seeing Ines’s frustration, he pointed at his temple, telling Her to look further.

Two minutes later, Ines fumed with twitching eyes. “That bastard. She and Elian had other plans. She’s been lying to me.”

“That’s not the point,” Wayne said calmly, holding Her soft hand. “The point is you misunderstood me. I didn’t know Aztimor. The esteemed Darkness is my only goddess.”

Ines’s heart soared. As was common knowledge, videos didn’t lie. So...

“That’s not the point,” Ines insisted, refusing to admit that She had been unreasonable. “Since she’s become your vassal, you’ll sooner or later start messing around. I’ve simply foreseen the future rather than misunderstood you.”

The graceful goddess was confident in Herself. Everything was under Her control, and She could never be unreasonable. It was an impossibility.

Wayne chuckled, changing the subject. “Your betrayal foiled Aztimor’s plan. The word She hates the most now is ‘darkness’. What should we do?”

“Hmph, she betrayed me first. If she had told me the truth, I wouldn’t have handed her thoughts to you.” Ines would not admit her fault. Aztimor felt wronged, but Ines, even more so. Her bestie had gotten involved with another goddess. Then Her boyfriend got involved with another goddess. The double—triple betrayal filled Her with intensifying rage. She flipped them over and lay on top of Wayne.

After some thinking, She decided She shouldn’t let Anastasia have everything. She took over Vichy’s body instead.

“Wayne~”

Once all was said and done, Ines put Her arms around his neck and said sweetly, “After becoming your vassal, that wench will certainly do everything to seduce you. You haven’t let Her have Her way, have you?”

Although videos didn’t lie, videos could be edited. She needed confirmation.

“Of course not. You’re my one and only girl—”

Thud!

“Why did you kick me again?” Wayne grumbled by the bed.

“Because you deserve it.” Ines glared at him. “You answered without thinking for even a second. You’re clearly lying to me.”

“...”

(눈_눈)

But thinking for more than a second would be hesitation, and I’ll also get kicked for that, won’t I?

Wayne could see that he would get kicked no matter what. The unreasonable Goddess of Darkness had gotten mad again, more so than earlier. His coddling failed to lift Her mood.

The reason was simple: Darkness didn’t see Wayne’s other harem members as threats, but She was wary of Her fellow goddess, Death.

Aztimor was Wayne’s vassal and would genuinely consider his needs, while Ines was still hesitant about letting him into the Divine Realm of Darkness. Comparing them, he must find Aztimor better.

Moreover, the fact that Ines had created a rival for Herself was frustrating. Aztimor had been unqualified to even compete with Her, but now, Aztimor was ready to deepen Her relationship with Wayne.

“Your concern is unwarranted. I told you that you would be my only goddess. I’ve long given my heart to Darkness, so there’s no room for anyone else.” Wayne recited the secondhand confession, welcoming another kick from Ines.

Ines smiled and said nothing.

“Why are you smiling? You’re spoiling the mood.”

“Before you say anything else, count how many lovers you have,” Ines snorted. “If that isn’t possible, look at how many women there are in this bedroom alone. I would only be fooled if I were blind.”

“It’s different. They’re good women, while you’re the only wicked woman.”

“Really?”

“...”

Thud.

“What did I tell you? You’d kick me even if I hesitated. There’s no escaping it.” Wayne climbed back up. Indeed, he had another wicked woman aside from Ines: Senna, the current Pope of the Church of Nature and one of his three luxury cars. She was shrewd and had the ability to put wicked thoughts into action, making her a qualified villainess.

Life was hard. Ines sighed, depressed that She had found Herself a rival. She didn’t want to admit that She was throwing a tantrum, so She took it out on the bastard.

However, Wayne’s frivolous smile made Her feel like She was punching a ball of cotton, giving Her no feedback. She became even more frustrated.

She was too mature to indulge in Her mood, however. She bit Wayne’s lip and kissed him, speaking slowly, “You want to enter the Divine Realm of Darkness and acquire all my knowledge, don’t you?”

“Yes.”

“Won’t you regret it? If I want to do anything to you, you’ll be doomed.”

“That’s what Aztimor told me, but I choose to follow my heart.”

“That wench badmouthed me?!” Ines raged, shooting him an eyeroll. “If you choose to follow your heart, I’ll grant you the wish and show you how bad I can be. I hope you won’t regret it.”

“I won’t. As you said, it’s the path I’ve chosen for myself, so I’ll only have myself to blame if I regret it. It’s no one else’s fault.”

Ines’s lips curled up. Their faces drew closer, then they shared a few deep kisses.

“I can take you to the Divine Realm of Darkness. Whatever Aztimor can give you, I can, too. Whatever she can’t give you, I can still give you. I believe I still owe you a reward.”

She lifted Wayne’s chin with a finger. The villainess had an incredible presence. Wayne, the delinquent, couldn’t wish for a better disciplinary teacher among the five goddesses.

“When are we setting out?” he asked eagerly.

“No rush. I’m feeling a little moody, which makes me forget the way back to my Divine Realm.”

“Then I’ll make you happy, Goddess.”

“Die, pervert.”

Ines pushed his shameless face away with as derisive an expression as She could muster. “If you want to make me happy, there’s a simple way to do it. Summon Aztimor. I want to tell her my rules.”

“Um, have you considered that I’ll liberate Her in the future, and you’re only making Her competitive, thus leading to your losses?”

Ines thought differently. She huffed, “Have you considered that you’re defending her right in front of me?”

“Alright. Whatever makes you happy.”

Shortly after, Sukra found her way to the study on the second floor. Her expression was stiff from nerves. It was her first time coming up here. Why was she called to the study, though? This wasn’t what those knight novels said would happen.

If—and she did mean if—Wayne made a move, should she surrender or should she struggle before surrendering?

It should be fine. Wayne wasn’t that kind of person.

Thwack!

Wayne hit her head with a hand chop, resigned. “You’ve changed after your trip to the Underworld. Pull your head out of the gutter and call upon your goddess. An old friend would like to meet Her.”

I was a Holy Maiden before heading to the Underworld, with all the baggage that came with the title. Now that I’m free, of course I’ll be different.

Sukra rubbed her head and blamed Wayne for being dense. She asked curiously, “Who’s the old friend? Would you tell me a little more?”

She turned to the three women in the study. The Holy Maiden of Darkness was sitting on the chair, the Darkness Knight was standing behind the chair with an upright posture, and Secretary Mona, the chief sex-paying officer, had her glasses on. The smell of body wash was thick in the air.

Damn it, they definitely just had an orgy!

“Just said old friend. The goddess will understand.”

“Fine. You’re the goddess’s knight and the savior of the Underworld. She won’t blame you.” Sukra closed her eyes. It had been quite some time since she last contacted the goddess, so she was a little rusty. It took her several tries.

“Uh oh,” she mumbled. “I’m not the Holy Maiden right now. My master, Ryza, is. I’m not sure if the goddess would be willing to take my body...”

“Ines!”

‘Sukra’ opened her eyes, glaring at ‘Anastasia’.

“Oh, who’s this? The noble and aloof Goddess of Death?”
