There was so much displeasure in his expression as he continued speaking;

"I do not question your authority. But I cannot understand how Izzgur is allowed to walk away from everything he has done."

His hand tightened into a fist.

"Just now, Tharnaron met his demise for merely voicing his surprise...Yet Izzgur has committed treasonous offenses time and again, defied your commands, and has continued to walk freely."

"What value does he maintain to allow him continuously keep his head?.. or perhaps is there something he holds against you, My Queen?"

The air suddenly trembled.

"EORLAGAR!"

Morgana’s voice thundered across the throne room as her magic power erupted around her.

The tone of her voice sounded like the monstrous demon king they knew well enough.

The pressure that filled the room became so intense that the surrounding demon lords struggled to stand comfortably.

Eorlagar gritted his teeth, forcing himself to endure the pressure.

Morgana stared down at him. "You dare question my decisions?"

Eorlagar’s eyes widened. "No- no.."

"You dare to think Izzgur holds a leverage over me?!" She questioned again

Eorlagar then lowered his head further. "No my Queen. Forgive me. I spoke out of turn."

Morgana continued staring at him for several moments before withdrawing her magic presence. "Enough. All of you, leave."

The demon lords immediately bowed. One after another, they turned and left the throne room.

Morgana watched them go in silence.

Eorlagar’s words had angered her, but only because he had spoken the truth.

And now that truth had been voiced openly before the others, exposing something she had never intended them to consider—the possibility that there was a special reason she was allowing Izzgur to walk free.

But not just any reason; it would be something which could very well be assumed was a possible weakness in their Queen.

Ethan lay in bed inside his room, with little Kimora asleep on his belly. Her wings twitched every now and then as she slept peacefully.

She had tired herself out from all that talking.

Hayley was in Percy’s room at the time, but only because she needed better cell service for her Arcphone.

Percy’s room was where their cellular base station was located anyway. He had somehow decided it was his device to carry.

Meanwhile, Ethan gently stroked Kimora’s head with his left hand while his right hand was shoved behind the back of his head, supporting it as he stared upward.

To anyone watching, it might have looked as though he was staring blankly at the ceiling.

But that was not the case. He was actually staring at his system interface.

Ethan was different.

Although he possessed both demonic and draconic natures, his body could not treat the two as completely separate existences.

His World Dragon’s Affinity had also increased, pushing both Aspect of Charge and Aspect of Dominion to Level 3.

His classes had experienced changes as well.

The combat-oriented Warrior and Guardian classes had both advanced to their next stages, bringing him closer to the upper limits of their current progression.

His Saber class, meanwhile, had reached its maximum potential. And additionally, he had gained a new skill under the class.

It seemed his father had been right after all.

When demons evolved, the skills granted through their innate classes could evolve alongside them. In some cases, the process could even awaken entirely new skills.

That appeared to be what had happened with Ethan.

Ethan stared at it all for a moment, naturally wondering about the further theories his father had posited— If absorbing more life force could cause his existing classes to evolve and even awaken new skills, would the same thing really happen to his other classes?

So decided to ask in a quiet tone to get certainty. "System, can absorbing more life force cause new skills to awaken in my other classes as well?"
