My Three Babies Have Different Fathers
Chapter 43: Those children must die tonight
"Did I give you permission to move around as you please?" the man asked with a cold smile.
"What are you going to do?" Jezy asked while glaring at him.
The man snorted. "Tell me now, where are Miss Hana’s children? That is the only condition if you want to treat your sister."
"Peh!" Jezy spat directly in the large man’s face. "Didn’t I already tell you? If you want to know where they are, let me see Hana first. Other than that, don’t expect me to tell you where those three children are."
The man wiped the spit from his face. His other hand clenched tightly at his side. "An old woman like you really won’t be afraid of death until you see your own death."
Bam!
A powerful punch landed directly in Jezy’s stomach.
Jezy’s eyes widened before her body collapsed onto the floor, right beside Jesy.
"What are you doing?" Jexy shouted.
She immediately pushed the man away from her two sisters. "Aren’t you afraid of the law? Do you think your master can protect you if—"
The man moved quickly. He shoved Jexy until her back slammed against the wall of the house. His hand immediately gripped Jexy’s chin tightly. "Tell us now. Where are Hana’s three children? You don’t want to end up like them, do you?" he threatened.
"You-you!" Jexy stammered because of the man’s grip.
Jezy, who was lying on the floor, could no longer speak. The hard punch to her stomach made her grimace as she kept both eyes closed.
Meanwhile, Jesy beside her had already lost consciousness. Her face was just as pale as Jezy’s.
Jexy looked at her two sisters before turning her gaze back to the man in front of her. "I won’t tell you anything. Just like my two sisters."
Jexy glanced at the clock behind the man. She began counting the time in her head. Orland Hesh and her two grandchildren should be arriving soon. She only needed to stall for time.
The man smiled sarcastically. "What? Are you waiting for help? Old woman... let me tell you something. You’ll die before that help arrives if you still refuse to tell me where Miss Hana’s children are."
Jexy stared sharply at him without intending to open her mouth even slightly. However, her breathing was becoming labored as his grip on her chin grew tighter.
"So, you really have no intention of living?" The man snorted. "You’d rather wait for help from people who might not even arrive in time?"
His grip tightened further until Jexy’s face turned pale. "Let’s make a bet. Which will arrive first? Your reinforcements... or your death?"
"Ugh... cough!" Jexy shook her head weakly. She was beginning to realize that the man truly had no intention of giving her any time.
"Fine..." The man smiled coldly. "Since you want to prove it so soon, I’ll prove it. But let me warn you first. I have never lost a bet, not even once in my life."
Bang!
He shoved Jexy aside, causing her head to slam hard against the table beside her.
Blood flowed from Jexy’s head. She looked up at the large men surrounding her before finally closing her eyes.
The man snorted, looking indifferently at the three women now lying on the floor. As if what he had just done had nothing to do with him at all.
He walked toward the sofa and sat down. After taking a phone from his pocket, he called an unnamed number.
"Miss Hana’s children aren’t here. Even their three caretakers are now dead in front of me. They refused to say a single word about where the three children are."
On the other end of the phone, Brandon’s secretary glanced toward the back seat. Brandon was still tightly holding the unconscious Hana in his arms without letting go of her even for a moment.
The secretary then turned around and spoke in a lower voice. "Conduct a massive search right now. I want those children dead before we leave Karua City. Send me their photos after you find them. I’ll pay you in full if this task is completed neatly and properly."
"Okay," the large man replied. "As for the children’s caretakers, what do you want us to do?"
"You don’t need to deal with them. I’ve already asked the Mayor of Karua to prepare major news for tomorrow morning."
"Hana’s belongings," Brandon said without opening his eyes. "Take everything Hana has used over the past five years. Don’t throw away a single thing, except for the three children’s belongings."
The secretary nodded. "Collect Miss Hana’s belongings. Leave the rest there."
"Okay."
The man ended the call after the line disconnected.
He then raised his hand and waved. "Arrange for people to search throughout Karua City. Conduct the biggest search possible. Check every inch and every corner. Those children must die tonight," he said firmly.
"Yes," one of the men replied before quickly leaving the room.
After his companion left, the large man lowered his head again. "You brought this upon yourselves. I’m only doing my job. Blame your bad luck for ever meeting Miss Hana," he said sarcastically.
He smiled, then stood from his seat and walked out toward Hana’s rented room.
The men behind him followed. They closed the door and locked it from the outside, making it look as though it had been locked from the inside.
The bald man who led the group then kicked down the door of Hana’s rented room.
Crash!
He entered and walked through Hana’s room. "Tsk... tsk... tsk..." he sneered. "How could the heir to the eastern region of Melvin Continent be interested in a poor girl like this?"
He snorted before ordering his men again. "Take all of Miss Hana’s belongings. We’ll bring them to the airport before their flight departs."
His subordinates nodded and immediately began rummaging through everything in the house.
The large man walked toward the only bed in Hana’s room.
Crash!
The bed was quickly flipped over.
He smiled when he saw something underneath it. The man bent down and found a bankbook under the names of Hana’s three children. However, his smile slowly disappeared when he saw the amount of money written inside.
He frowned.
After thinking for a moment, he took the bankbook and slipped it into his pocket.
"Boss, everything is done. We’ve collected Miss Hana’s belongings. There’s only a little, the rest—"
The man waved his hand, telling him to stop talking. "To the airport now," he cut him off. "Don’t keep our big boss waiting any longer."
Meanwhile, at a dock on the outskirts of Karua City, Orland looked at Sean, Kevin, and Zahn, who had been wearing gloomy expressions the entire time.
"You really don’t want to rest?" Orland asked. "I’ll prepare a place for you to rest. I’ll handle the search for Hana. You don’t need to worry."
Sean shook his head. "I have a bad feeling. We need to meet Mom and Grandma as soon as possible. Don’t rest until we meet them."
