My Three Babies Have Different Fathers
Chapter 22: Do you want to study outside Karua City?
Sean and Kevin immediately pressed the off button on their respective computers.
"M-Mom," they said at the same time.
Zahn, who heard Hana’s voice from behind, immediately hurried out of his room and ran toward Hana. "Mom... you’re home?"
Hana’s forehead furrowed when she saw Zahn wearing a lab coat. "What are you wearing? Are you playing a new game with Grandma?"
"Mom, Grandma Jezy and I are researching something. Do you want to see?" Zahn asked, trying to divert Hana’s attention from Sean’s mention of the word "Dad."
Jezy came out of the room where Zahn had just come from, wearing the same lab coat. "Hana, you came home early today?"
Seeing Jezy dressed like that, Hana sighed. "Do you want to become a researcher so badly that you even got Grandma to play and dress like this?"
Hana immediately stood up and faced Jezy. "Auntie, you don’t have to indulge their wishes. I’ll pay you back for the money you spent buying their play equipment with my salary next week."
Jezy waved her hand. She took off her handkerchief and then hurried to sit on the sofa in another room.
Hana followed her from behind.
"You want to leave them with us?" Jezy asked. "Go if you have to. We’ll take care of your sons."
"Auntie, I owe you so much. If I have money in the future, I’ll definitely pay you back immediately. I swear," Hana said as she raised both hands.
Jezy took the plastic bags Hana was carrying and opened them one by one before looking back at Hana.
"You want us to give your three children this food?"
"Eem," Hana answered.
Jezy looked at Hana again and snorted. "If we hadn’t taken care of them since they were babies, I’m sure your three children would already be brainless dead because you keep feeding them junk food like this."
"Auntie..."
"Your three children will sooner or later become important people. They won’t be able to keep staying in Karua City. Their talents are too great," Jezy said, suddenly changing the subject.
Jezy picked up a glass of water from the table and drank it. "You need to marry a man who can protect your children as soon as possible. There will be many people who want your children dead if their identities are exposed."
"What do you mean, Auntie?" Hana asked.
"Do you remember their biological fathers?"
"That... I really don’t remember. I don’t even remember how I ended up in Karua City five years ago."
Jezy slowly massaged her forehead and then sighed. "Their biological fathers are clearly not ordinary people, judging by the faces and brains of your three children. I hope you can marry their fathers."
Jezy said it without showing the slightest hint that she knew Hana had children from three different men.
"Auntie, I don’t intend to get married yet. Besides, I don’t know who their fathers are. But I’ll definitely think carefully about your advice."
"Go," Jezy said. "You need to get ready to leave for the shop event, don’t you?"
"How could you know that the event was moved up?" Hana asked.
"I know many things that you don’t know, Hana."
Hana scratched her nose even though it wasn’t actually itchy, then hurried outside to meet her three children.
Hana’s three children were already waiting for her in front of the door.
"Mom is leaving today?"
Hana lowered her head and looked at her three children.
"Ehm. Mom has to make money."
Hana remembered Jezy’s words again. Her three children’s learning abilities really were extraordinary. Even someone like her, who wasn’t particularly smart, could certainly realize that.
"Do you want to study outside Karua City?" Hana offered.
Hana’s three children looked at her with confused expressions.
"What do you mean, Mom?"
"If, for example, we moved somewhere else, maybe to the place where Mom used to live with Grandpa and Grandma... would you want to?" Hana offered.
"But Mom, you don’t have any money. How can we go outside Karua City?" Kevin asked.
Seeing the interest in her three children’s eyes, Hana knew her guess was right. They really did want to study outside Karua City.
"Mom will find a way. Mom will work even harder." Hana took a slow breath before continuing, "Take good care of yourselves during these few days. Don’t trouble Grandma, understand?"
They nodded together and returned to the rental room to help Hana prepare her luggage.
"Mom, we actually have a lot of money. If you’re tired, you can stop working," Sean finally said. He kept watching Hana’s furrowed face while his hands were busy scribbling on a piece of paper.
"Sean, your savings belong to you," Hana replied without thinking.
Hana knew that many people had given her three sons pocket money over the past five years. However, she had never taken it seriously. After opening bank accounts for her children in the past, Hana had never once tried to find out what their financial situation was like.
"Not that money, but the other money. We really have it."
Hana nodded casually, then looked at her three handsome sons. "Alright... if Mom runs short of money later, you can use it to help Mom, okay?"
Hana stood up and got ready when the time was almost three o’clock.
"How can we convince Mom? Why is Mom so difficult to talk to?" Zahn asked.
Kevin beside him smiled widely while looking at the screen of Jezy’s borrowed phone, without answering Zahn’s question.
"Zahn, didn’t Mom say this morning that she wanted a poor husband? Let’s carry out our plan now after Mom leaves," Kevin said excitedly.
Sean took the phone and read the information on the screen one by one. He nodded in satisfaction.
"We can deal with the money problem later. The most important thing now is that we have to make all three of our fathers go bankrupt and become poor, until they lose their power. That way, Mom will keep the promise she signed yesterday."
Sean looked at his two brothers with eyes shining with confidence. "Mom will marry all three of our fathers after they become poor when she comes home later."
"With this information and the help of our fathers’ enemies, destroying their power and making them lose all their wealth is no longer a big problem."
