My Three Babies Have Different Fathers

Chapter 19: Mom won’t lie to you

"Don’t you believe Mom?" Hana asked with a serious expression.

Sean immediately ran to get a blank sheet of paper from somewhere. He wrote word after word on the paper.

Even though they were only five years old, Sean and his two brothers were already good at writing. In fact, their handwriting looked much neater than Hana’s.

"Mom, sign this now."

Hana tilted her head to the side. Should I? Isn’t this just a dream? How can my son be this serious? Hana thought.

"Mom, hurry up. I won’t believe you if you refuse to sign it. What if you’re lying to us?"

Kevin and Zahn nodded. "Mom, you have to sign it. This is a matter of life and death for us," Kevin said.

"You three... have you been watching inappropriate things with Grandma?" Hana asked.

Her three children did not answer. They looked at Hana with distressed expressions that they could not hide.

Hana looked at them one by one before sighing. Her heart always beat fast whenever it concerned the three of them.

"Alright... Mom will sign it, okay? Mom won’t lie to you. If Mom lies, you can punish Mom and look for another mother."

"No!" the three of them answered at the same time. "You are our mother. We will never punish you. We also never want to look for another mother," Zahn replied.

Sean nodded. "If in the future Mom isn’t satisfied with our fathers, we promise we’ll find you another husband who is better."

Kevin added, "But on one condition, Mom has to marry our fathers first. After Mom feels that you’re not compatible, we’ll help you find another husband, a husband who suits your wishes."

Hana looked at the three of them with a smile and then shook her head before reaching for the paper Sean handed her. "Alright... I have to sign here, right?"

"Ehm, that’s right, Mom," Sean answered.

After Hana signed the paper, she returned it to Sean. "Are you satisfied now?" she asked.

They nodded in satisfaction and then hugged Hana. "Mom... we promise we’ll be good children. You can’t leave us," Kevin said.

Hana patted their backs one after another. "Good. Now the three of you wash your faces. Mom will make dumpling porridge."

The three of them nodded quickly, letting Hana go to the kitchen to cook.

They looked at each other, then quietly went out toward the room in front using the key Jexy had given them before.

Jesy, Jexy, and Jezy were still fast asleep. All night, they had helped Sean and his two brothers conduct blood relation tests over and over again.

Sean, Kevin, and Zahn quickly headed toward their workroom. Although the room where Jesy, Jexy, and Jezy lived looked just as small as the other rental rooms in the apartment building, the inside was actually much more spacious. There were eight rooms inside, and one of them had been turned into their workroom.

"Have you made the copies?" Sean asked.

"Ehm," the two answered at the same time.

Sean took his phone and called a secret number. The call connected shortly after. "Take the documents from the usual place. I want you to get them officially stamped by the strongest law firm in the Melvin Continent. Make one hundred copies and keep each one in the company vaults," Sean said, his voice still sounding childish but authoritative.

An adult man’s voice could be heard from the other end. "Alright, Young Boss. I’ll go to Karua City immediately to get them."

Sean ended the call. "You’ll get the copies tomorrow morning, while the original stays with me."

Kevin and Zahn nodded.

"We have to go back first. We can’t continue the plan today. Mom is starting to get suspicious, and we can’t make her anxious," Sean added.

"Alright. I also don’t want to rush things, and I’ll only contact my father tomorrow morning," Zahn said.

"I don’t mind either," Kevin replied when the two looked at him. "My father has a slightly complicated relationship with his family. I’ll contact him slowly."

They returned to Hana’s room without waking the three owners of the rental. The three of them quickly washed their faces and sat neatly at the dining table facing the television.

"Mom," Zahn said as Hana placed bowls of hot porridge in front of them.

"What is it?" Hana asked without stopping what she was doing.

"Why are you watching this man’s show again?"

Hana looked up at the screen that was turned on. "Why? Isn’t his show good? The host is handsome, rich, and likes donating to women’s and children’s shelters."

"You like him?" Kevin asked.

"Like him?" Hana sat between them after all the food was ready. "Of course I like him," she answered casually.

"How much do you like him? Didn’t Mom already promise to marry only our fathers?" Sean asked.

Hana lightly hit Sean’s head with her spoon. "Mom only likes him casually. Besides, if Mom wanted to marry him, this man would definitely think Mom was crazy. Hurry up and finish your porridge. Why do you keep talking about the fathers in your dreams?" Hana asked, slightly annoyed.

"Mom..." Sean called.

Kevin and Zahn giggled when they saw Sean getting hit for the first time, feeling the suffering they usually experienced.

"Mom has to work after this," Hana said after eating. "Your task is to wash the dishes and tidy up the house before going to Grandma’s house to play. Tonight, Mom will bring fried chicken for us to eat together."

"Mom," Sean called, "what if our fathers are real and they’re going to pick us up this week?"

Hana looked at Sean and then at her other two children, who were also looking at her seriously. She giggled softly and shook her head. "Sean, your imagination is getting too wild. Don’t teach your little brothers to think about impossible things like this."

Hana sighed, took the towel hanging there, and then walked toward the bathroom. Before entering, she turned to look at them again, as they had not moved from their positions at all.

"You’ll be starting school soon. If your teacher finds out, they’ll definitely laugh at your imaginations. If you want to have a father, Mom will try to find one for you," Hana finally said.

She closed the bathroom door tightly, until the sound of running water could be heard.

Zahn whispered softly, "How can we make sure Mom won’t be shocked when she finds out we’ve already found our real fathers?"
