Chapter 1041 - 1044: Silencing Her Lips

Jared Quinn’s and Leon Rivers’ faces simultaneously darkened; this was more thrilling than watching a film—it was the real version.

"If we see this happen again, we’ll immediately return or close our eyes. We absolutely won’t take another look; don’t worry," Melody Thorne declared.

"Yes, yes, we absolutely won’t watch again," Chloe Summers raised a small hand to promise.

"I’m full; we should hurry and go now. As long as we uncover more dirt on Senator, he’s finished," Melody Thorne nudged Chloe Summers’ arm.

The two women chimed in together.

"Let’s go, let’s go!" Chloe Summers immediately put down her bowl, avoiding Leon Rivers’ gaze, pulling Melody Thorne away.

With Leon Rivers watching her, she felt her whole body burning with anxiety.

The people on Senator’s side had grown accustomed to Melody Thorne and Chloe Summers appearing during the day, so no one stopped them; they watched the two women come and go, not thinking much of it.

In the evening, Melody Thorne and Chloe Summers followed the senator out in the same manner. This time, to avoid being discovered, they stayed further away but made a bigger discovery—the senator was heading to another place, which seemed to be a woman’s residence, as if he had a mistress.

The car stopped.

The senator walked straight toward the villa building, and soon, a woman’s screams could be heard from inside.

This senator was perverse; he liked it when women screamed louder!

After more than an hour, the senator walked out and drove away!

"I haven’t taken a photo of that woman," Chloe Summers said a little reluctantly.

"She’s coming out," Melody Thorne pointed inside.

Sure enough, the woman was only wearing a nightgown, seeming reluctant to let the senator leave, watching the door for a long time!

Chloe Summers seized the chance to snap a couple of photos.

Back at the villa.

Melody Thorne had Harold Chapman’s people separately investigate the information on those two women and found that both women’s parents sided with the senator, and their identities weren’t low.

Yet, none of them knew the senator was simultaneously playing with two women, using them for his advantage!

"They followed the senator in framing the Hawthorne Family; the evidence provided for Hawthorne’s army being traitors was supplied by them," Harold Chapman spoke.

"Tomorrow will be a good show!" Melody Thorne smiled.

"Alright, let’s all go back and sleep."

"Melody, I want to sleep at your place," Chloe Summers suddenly spoke, looking for refuge.

"Give it up; Leon Rivers will never agree to it. If you don’t go back, he’ll probably come to fetch you," Melody Thorne crushed her hopes.

"Huh?" Chloe Summers frowned "Alright, alright, I’ll go back..."

With everyone gone from the study, Jared Quinn grabbed Melody Thorne into his arms, "Never watch that kind of scene again, understand?"

"I didn’t see it that clearly; the camera captured it too clearly," Melody Thorne tried to explain.

"That’s still not allowed!" Jared Quinn raised her dress, sealing her tiny mouth, sweeping everything off the table with a hand.

Melody Thorne and Chloe Summers went to the bustling commercial street in Northedge, parked the car, and found the woman who was out shopping.
