My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!
Chapter 1037 - 1040: Can You Help Me Get My Clothes?
Chloe Summers returned to Leon Rivers’ place, unlocked the door with a key, and could still hear Melody Thorne’s words echoing in her ears. She said she definitely had feelings for Leon Rivers.
No way?
Did she have feelings for Leon Rivers?
As she stepped into the hall, Chloe Summers immediately ran into Leon Rivers, who had just come down from upstairs after taking a shower. He was bare-chested, his skin was pale, yet his physique was extraordinary, surpassing even those top models she had seen in magazines, with well-defined muscles.
Leon Rivers, freshly showered, was suddenly scrutinized by Chloe Summers as she stared at his chest, sending an uncontrollable tingling sensation throughout his body, and he found himself feeling unexpectedly warm and parched!
"Chloe Summers," Leon Rivers spoke with a controlled voice, "you’re back?"
Chloe Summers snapped back to reality when he called her, chided herself for daydreaming in front of Leon Rivers.
"Yeah, I’m back," she replied.
"Want some milk?"
"Hmm... sure," Chloe Summers responded quickly and hurried upstairs to find pajamas to take a bath.
Leon Rivers poured her a glass of milk and went upstairs, entering Chloe Summers’ room only to find it empty.
Noises came from the room next door.
Leon Rivers squinted his eyes and went into his own room, realizing that the little scatterbrain had entered his bathroom to shower, probably without even bringing clothes.
His throat grew even drier, merely imagining the scene was too much.
Chloe Summers was too tired and wanted to sleep early. After taking a quick shower, she turned off the water and looked around to find a towel.
Her bathroom was always stocked with spare towels; she liked to wrap up in one and go to sleep, so she didn’t have the habit of bringing clothes.
But around her...
It was empty, with only a small towel.
Chloe Summers "..."
She suddenly realized she was in the wrong bathroom! It looked like Leon Rivers’!
"Leon Rivers," Chloe Summers had no choice but to speak, utterly embarrassed.
"Hmm?"
"Can you bring me a towel? Or clothes will do, I walked into the wrong bathroom," Chloe Summers’s voice grew softer as she spoke, wishing she could slap herself.
How could she be so absent-minded?
Leon Rivers, the very wolf waiting to pounce at any minute!
Outside, Leon Rivers held a wine glass, his clear eyes carrying a touch of depth.
"Leon Rivers~"
"Hmm."
"Can you bring me clothes?"
"What if I don’t want to?" Leon Rivers raised his hand, his eyes clear as a spring breeze seemed to see through the glass door of the bathroom, envisioning the scene inside.
Chloe Summers "...then I won’t come out, I’ll just sleep in your bathtub."
She spoke, frustrated.
Leon Rivers chuckled lowly, placed the glass of milk on the table, and with nothing in his hands, he "went over to knock on the bathroom door."
Chloe Summers assumed Leon Rivers had relented, so she carefully opened the door a little, reaching out her small hand to let him hand over the clothes.
With a "swoosh," the entire bathroom door was opened.
Leon Rivers’ tall figure came in.
"Ah!" Chloe Summers screamed, clutching her chest. Leon Rivers quickly held her still, unable to bear her screams.
Her scream made him feel heated.
"Leon Rivers, you tricked me!" Chloe Summers lifted her tear-filled eyes to accuse.
"I didn’t trick you!" Leon Rivers, with his broad hand, caressed her delicate, palm-sized face, speaking with a hoarse voice, "The towel is on me, you’ll have to take it yourself."
Chloe Summers’ face turned beet red. She knew it, Leon Rivers was indeed a big bad wolf!
