Set and Soul Reaver waved their fists excitedly.

A few of them hurriedly moved, clearing away the remaining bricks and a stone slab.

They lifted the door panel and saw Yang Chen’s disheveled figure.

"Brother!" Chen Siyan was the first to rush up.

Yang Chen quickly scooped her up from the basement.

"It’s all right now! It’s all right!" Yang Chen comforted her.

"I was scared to death! I thought I’d never see you again!" Chen Siyan broke down and cried.

He wanted to release Chen Siyan to comfort Ye Xin, but she clung to him as if bonded, unwilling to let go.

Yang Chen held Ye Xin tightly, feeling her embrace him as if she wanted to merge him into her very being.

"Don’t say anything! Don’t say anything at all!" Ye Xin shook her head as she held him.

She didn’t need Yang Chen to make any promises; she just needed him to be okay, right now.

Yang Chen sighed internally, holding Ye Xin, nodding slightly to Set and the others as a sign of gratitude.

Set and the others also breathed a sigh of relief, sitting on the ground with broad smiles.

To them, nothing was better than knowing Yang Chen was safe.
