Chapter 44: Primordial Contamination and the Awakening of the War God

The hissing sound of poisonous circuits echoes, slicing through the silence of the Forbidden Reactor Chamber. The network of blood vessels across baby Gabriel’s entire body spreads and turns black like ancient root tendrils absorbing the entropy poison. Pure silver light emanates sharply from the pupils of his previously clear eyes, reflecting the silhouette of the Creator Fleet logo hovering above Earth’s orbit.

"GABRIEL!" Genevieve screams with a wail that shatters the marble walls.

Genevieve kneels, hugging her son’s small body while attempting to channel all De La Croix pure blood energy to suppress the poison’s circulation. However, every time her aura touches Gabriel’s skin, that silver glow instead reflects a shockwave that throws Genevieve until she crashes against the altar wall.

Alexander leaps like lightning to embrace his wife, supporting Genevieve’s violently trembling body. His eyes, burning with a black-gold glow, stare sharply toward the black poison that now controls the entire Gold-Black Primordial Crystal above them.

The outer protective dome wall of Atlantis, which has exploded, begins spewing millions of tons of Atlantic Ocean seawater! Seawater of freezing temperature floods the marble corridors of the ancient city, collapsing crystal towers and submerging thousands of clonal soldiers attempting to defend the front line.

"Daniel! Stella!" Alexander shouts as he approaches his two comrades lying drenched in blood beside the console table.

Daniel vomits black blood from his mouth, his trembling fingers gripping Alexander’s wrist tightly. "Alex... this virus... this virus does not merely shut down Atlantis’s defense system," Daniel says hoarsely, his breath becoming increasingly broken. "This virus is programmed to burn... the Primordial Core into a cosmic rift bomb that will obliterate the entire galaxy."

"Hold your breath, Daniel! I will channel recovery energy!" Alexander thrusts two of his fingers into Daniel’s chest.

"There is no time!" Daniel cuts in firmly, wiping the blood from his lips. "Use your Transcendental Balance Form to absorb that poison into your own body! Only the Rington pure blood vessel can contain entropy matter without disintegrating instantly!"

"But if Alex does that, his soul will be contaminated by the Creator’s consciousness!" Genevieve interrupts while crawling closer, holding her husband’s chest. "I will not let you sacrifice yourself, Alexander!"

The roof of the Forbidden Reactor Chamber collapses under the strike of an orbital laser cannon from the Creator Main Mothership! A beam of silver light pierces directly to the bottom of the reactor, burning the incoming seawater into scorching steam that burns skin.

From above the open roof gap, thousands of VX-Series Hunter Drones shaped like giant metal scorpions glide down at supersonic speed! Their mechanical eyes are locked tightly onto baby Gabriel’s body and the dying Primordial Crystal!

"Subject Gabriel Containment Protocol Activated. Obliterate All Biological Mothers!" A pulsing mechanical broadcast echoes from every hunter drone!

"Protect Gabriel, Yev!" Alexander roars.

The Death Scythe of Ouroboros unfolds completely in Alexander’s grip! A black-gold aura swirls like a thunderstorm around his body. In a single lightning movement traversing the speed of light, Alexander launches into the air!

Within the span of just one second, fifty hunter drones are sliced into two parts, exploding into fireballs in midair! Alexander’s movements no longer resemble those of an ordinary human in battle; every swing of his scythe slices the structure of space and time, creating void vacuum lines that suck the machine wrecks into small black holes!

However, the number of drones descending from the Mothership does not diminish. Thousands of new units are continually spewed from orbit, damming every air gap above Atlantis!

On the lower stage, Grand Master Arthur De La Croix emerges through the flood of seawater, clad in full golden armor now covered in black soot. His crystal staff has transformed into a giant ten-meter-scale sword!

"Alexander! Take that Primordial Crystal now!" Arthur roars while swinging his sword of devastation to destroy the wave of drones approaching Genevieve. "I will hold back the seawater rift and this aerial assault!"

"Grandfather! Your body will not be strong enough to withstand the dual pressure!" Genevieve screams.

"The blood of De La Croix never submits to the fate of machines!" Arthur drives his golden sword into the magma base of the reactor!

A giant magma pillar of fire spurts upward, forming a thermal protective wall that burns all hunter drones and halts the flow of seawater submerging the room! However, the price that must be paid is extremely high; blood vessels across Arthur’s entire face burst, and his golden aura begins to dim drastically!

Alexander lands with precision right on top of the bronze altar. Without a shred of hesitation, he scoops up the Gold-Black Crystal contaminated by the entropy poison with both bare hands!

A high-pitched scream of agony escapes Alexander’s throat! Pitch-black poison spreads like lightning from his palms, penetrating his arms, shoulders, until it burns half of his face into a glossy black hue with glowing golden blood vessels severely illuminated!

That contamination process forces the Transcendental Balance Form inside Alexander’s body to mutate wildly! The black and gold light in his eyes suddenly mixes with the Creator’s pure silver color, creating a new form never before recorded in the history of the two clans: The Dimension-Traversing War God Form!

With that mutation, the entropy poison inside Gabriel’s body is suddenly sucked out, forcibly drawn straight into Alexander’s chest cavity! The color of Gabriel’s skin returns to normal, and the infant cries loudly in Genevieve’s embrace!

"Gabriel!" Genevieve’s tears burst as she holds her recovered son.

However, that joy does not last long.

Alexander slowly turns his head. His gaze, now a cold silver-gold, stares straight toward Genevieve and Arthur.

It is no longer the gaze of Alexander Rington the husband and father, but rather a gaze filled with an alien cosmic silence!

"Alex...?" Genevieve whispers with a voice trembling in fear. "You still recognize us, right?"

Alexander does not answer. He raises his right hand, and the Death Scythe of Ouroboros suddenly shatters into pieces, melting into a liquid black metal that fuses directly with the skin of his hand!

From the air gap above them, the projection of Sebastian De La Croix emerges once more, carving a smile of absolute victory.

"Magnificent, Alexander. You succeeded in absorbing my Entropy Virus. But by doing so, you have activated the Ancient Consciousness of the First Creator sleeping inside that matter. Your body is no longer yours... You are now the Ultimate Weapon of the Creator Fleet!"

Alexander steps forward, floating in the air, passing Arthur and Genevieve without paying mind to their presence. He directs his gaze outside Atlantis, piercing thousands of miles of Earth’s atmosphere toward the Main Mothership in orbit.

With a single snap of his fingers, a giant black-silver dimensional rift tears wide open behind Alexander’s body!

"ALEXANDER! DON’T GO!" Genevieve screams while trying to give chase, but a gravitational pressure wave from Alexander’s body holds her down so that she

cannot move even a single millimeter!
