My Son Is the Result of your Seed
Chapter 29: Scream from the Abyssal Depths
The cold waves of the Atlantic Ocean assault Alexander Rington’s body with absolute ferocity. Millions of tons of seawater mixed with sulfur vapor and concrete ruins of the cylindrical fortress drag him down into the darkness of the abyssal depths.
The burning pain from the four wound tracks scratched by Eleanor’s nails on his chest throbs violently. Pure golden blood spurts from his blood vessels, emitting a dim glow amidst the thick seawater.
Above the receding water surface, the fire flashes from the helipad explosion radiate faintly before the cliff collapse of Lazarus Island completely covers the light gap.
’No...’ Alexander’s mind screams in the silence of the ocean floor. ’Ethan... Stella... Genevieve...’
The mental image of his children inside the grip of Eleanor’s poisonous nails triggers a chain reaction in Alexander’s biological neural network. The pure serum merged inside his immune cells suddenly releases a high-scale surge of pure adrenaline!
The golden glow inside Alexander’s blood vessels ignites violently, forcibly stopping his internal chest bleeding while sealing the torn skin tissue through an instant cellular regeneration process!
Alexander turns his body under the pressure of hundreds of water atmospheres, driving both his legs with the force of absolute biological propulsion, gliding rapidly upward through the heavy current of falling rocks!
Alexander breaks the seawater surface inside a half-destroyed cliff cave at the foot of the fortress. He vomits seawater from his lungs, his fingers digging deep into sharp coral rock gaps, supporting his body stained with mud and dried blood.
The magnificent atrium above has completely collapsed. All that remains are thick concrete debris and steel support beams protruding wildly toward the storm-shrouded night sky.
"Genevieve!" Alexander shouts, his dual voice echoing through the roar of the waves crashing against the cave.
There is no answer. Only the hiss of the ocean wind and the crackle of falling rocks remain.
Alexander climbs the steep coral wall with unnatural speed. His fingers, covered in golden current, pierce through the limestone like a hot knife through butter. Within seconds, he successfully sets foot on the former helipad area that now tilts forty-five degrees toward the ocean abyss.
On the cracked concrete surface, Alexander finds horrific traces of battle. Fragments of helicopter windshield glass, flattened bullet casings, and spatters of Eleanor’s blackish blood freeze on thin ice.
However, there are no bodies of Ethan, Stella, or Genevieve.
In the middle of the blood-stained concrete tiles lies a small circular instrument emitting a blinking red light—a silver crown-shaped De La Croix pendant necklace belonging to Stella that Genevieve always loops around their daughter’s neck.
Alexander kneels, picking up the silver pendant with a slightly trembling hand. He cradles the small object in his grip, feeling the lingering warmth of Stella’s body subtly remaining on the metal surface.
"They are still alive, Alex..."
A raspy, weak voice sounds from behind a pile of burning helipad debris.
Alexander turns his body instantly, seeing Daniel crawling out from a concrete gap with his left arm hanging broken and half his body drenched in blood.
Alexander steps quickly, lifting Daniel’s body and leaning him against a remaining stone pillar. "Daniel! What happened up here?!"
Daniel coughs violently, vomiting thick blood before staring at Alexander with half-closed eyes. "Your mother... Eleanor... she did not kill them, Alex. When she touched Ethan and Stella’s necks... the serum frequency inside your children’s blood triggered a sudden memory reconciliation in her brain."
Alexander freezes. "You mean... Mother remembered them?!"
"She embraced the children..." Daniel whispers raspily, his breath growing thinner. "But The Black Sun special forces landed using stealth amphibious aircraft from the west. They fired high-dose neural paralysis darts at Eleanor and Genevieve... then captured them all."
"Where did they take my family?!" Alexander hisses, his fingers tightening on Daniel’s shoulder.
Daniel reaches into his tactical pants pocket with broken fingers, pulling out an encrypted memory drive he managed to unplug from the enemy amphibious aircraft’s navigation console before the helipad collapsed.
"The Black Sun operational center..." Daniel says as he hands the memory drive into Alexander’s hand. "They... they brought Eleanor, Genevieve, and the children to the Forbidden City of Vorkuta—a Soviet-era underground nuclear isolation facility in the heart of Siberia."
Alexander receives the memory drive. The golden glow in his eyes flashes with a vengeance that can no longer be extinguished by anything in this world.
"You must survive, Daniel," Alexander says, injecting a portion of his own golden blood into the blood vessel of Daniel’s neck to trigger cellular regeneration and save his partner’s life.
Daniel’s eyes widen as a burning heat spreads living energy throughout his damaged body tissues. "Alex... you cannot go to Vorkuta alone! That facility is guarded by ten thousand Bio-Mechanical armored soldiers and five consortium leaders of The Black Sun!"
Alexander stands tall. His tall posture now radiates an aura of absolute darkness and power never seen before—a blend between the pure courage of a father and the lethal tactical intelligence he inherited from all the Rington experiments.
"I am not going alone, Daniel," Alexander cuts in coldly.
He reaches for the ancient Obsidian Legion signet ring from his neck, then drives the ring directly into the slot of The Black Sun memory drive.
A high-powered satellite transmission signal radiates straight from the golden glow of Alexander’s hand toward Earth’s orbit, hacking through all secret military communication channels across five continents simultaneously!
On the memory drive’s holographic screen, thousands of green signal indicators light up one by one—signals from all former Vanguard special forces members, still-loyal commanders of the Obsidian Legion division, to the black-market mercenary network once headed by Arthur Rington!
Alexander’s voice echoes through the global encrypted transmission, flawlessly cold like a declaration of war:"This is Alexander Rington. Gather all remaining combat forces at the Arctic border. We are going to raze Vorkuta to the ground."
Twenty- four hours later.
An eternal blizzard rages across the frozen tundra expanse of Vorkuta, Siberia. The air temperature drops to minus forty degrees Celsius, freezing all forms of life on the ground surface.
In the middle of the vast ice plain stands the giant military base of the Forbidden City of Vorkuta—a double-layered steel fortress planted one hundred meters beneath the permafrost ice layer, fenced by heavy-caliber artillery towers and electromagnetic energy shields.
Inside Vorkuta’s main isolation laboratory, Victoria Ashford stands behind the thick glass of a sterile room alongside four top leaders of The Black Sun consortium wearing black-and-gold noble robes.
Inside the sterile room, Ethan and Stella lie on top of the main incubation table, connected to a giant blood refining machine. Genevieve and Eleanor are bound to biometric restraint pillars beside them, helpless under the influence of neural paralysis drugs.
"The purification of pure Rington lineage blood will complete within six hours," one of The Black Sun leaders says in a mechanically articulated voice from behind his gold mask. "After this, the entire human population of Earth will become our biological slaves."
Victoria curves a satisfied smile, staring at Genevieve, who looks back at her with pure hatred. "Do you see this, Genevieve? Your magnificent Alexander has sunk to the bottom of the Atlantic. There is no one left to save you."
Just as Victoria finishes her sentence, a top-level danger alarm screams deafeningly throughout the Vorkuta base!
EMERGENCY SIRENS ROAR!
Red lights flash wildly! Perimeter radar indicators show hundreds of high-speed military contact points approaching the fortress from all four winds!
"Warning! Land and air perimeter breach!" a military operator screams through the loudspeaker channel. "Unidentified combat fleet penetrating the no-fly zone!"
Victoria gasps in shock, stepping quickly toward the main monitoring console.
Through the outdoor surveillance cameras penetrating the blizzard, the screen displays a sight that freezes all The Black Sun leaders in pure horror:
Twenty black-armored aerial aircraft carriers—a combined fleet of the Obsidian Legion and Vanguard—split the Siberian sea of clouds! Thousands of combat helicopters and tactical paratroopers in all-black uniforms plunge from the sky like a meteor shower!
However, the most terrifying presence stands at the very front line of that combat formation.
A heavily armored main battle tank crushes Vorkuta’s outer steel gate in a single hit from its large-caliber cannon!
From the roof of that battle tank, Alexander Rington leaps down onto the ice plain of Vorkuta!
He wears bulletproof tactical armor in pitch black with a military coat fluttering in the storm wind. His silver irises emit a golden glow so thick that it illuminates the darkness of the surrounding blizzard. In his right hand, he holds a bio-electrically powered composite steel sword radiating burning golden flashes!
Hundreds of Vorkuta Bio-Mechanical armored soldiers charge out from the base doors, spewing thousands of assault rifle rounds toward Alexander!
Alexander steps forward without slowing his speed in the slightest. With one circular slash of his bio-electric sword, a wave of golden energy explodes forward, cutting and destroying dozens of Bio-Mechanical armored soldiers in a single pure strike!
CRASH! EXPLOSION!
Alexander looks up, staring straight toward the surveillance camera connected to Victoria Ashford’s room.
He raises his golden sword, pointing it directly at the camera screen, then curves the most lethal cold smile before whispering a message that vibrates the entire Vorkuta laboratory:
"I have arrived, Victoria..
Kneel, or watch your entire clan turn to ash beneath this ice."
