Kaiser and Alex remained at a suitable distance from the battlefield, far enough away to avoid being caught in the Sin of the Forest’s attacks while still being able to observe the fight clearly.

Most of Kaiser’s undead army had already scattered throughout the forest, but his strongest undead remained near the Sin of the Forest.

Selene, Rachel, and the Corpse Lord surrounded the monster from different directions. Instead of immediately trying to kill it, they focused on defending themselves and carefully observing the power of its Rule as he attacked them with his corruption rule.

They were all naturally aligned with different aspects of the power they possessed, and fighting against a Rule wielder could provide them with valuable insight. If they could experience the Greater Rule of Corruption directly, they might be able to better understand how Rules functioned and eventually develop their own comprehension.

However, the Sin of the Forest had no intention of giving them an easy opportunity.

A strange green-black energy suddenly spread through the battlefield.

The moment it touched Selene, Rachel, and the Corpse Lord, their bodies began to deteriorate.

The damage was immediately transferred through Kaiser’s Death Transfer skill.

The fatal attacks that landed on his main undead were redirected toward the expendable undead scattered throughout the forest.

One undead after another collapsed.

Kaiser watched the situation carefully.

"Keep fighting, but be careful. Don’t waste too many undead."

Selene and the others continued their assault while simultaneously observing the Rule of Corruption.

Every attack from the Sin of the Forest gave them another opportunity to experience its power.

The way the corruption spread, the way it interacted with their bodies, and the changes it caused to their abilities were all valuable information.

Kaiser, however, quickly noticed a problem.

The number of expendable undead disappearing was increasing far too quickly.

’Damn. At this rate, I’ll run out of undead before they can gain anything useful from this fight.’

Kaiser immediately made another decision.

He had already recalled all of his pets after the battle became too dangerous. Unlike his undead, his pets couldn’t simply be revived after dying. Losing one of them permanently was something Kaiser wasn’t willing to risk just to gain information about a Rule.

Gravity Slime, Luna, Garuk and Skeleton King were already in his pet space.

Kaiser had no intention of letting them remain in such a dangerous fight.

Their lives were too valuable.

Only Selene, Rachel, and the Corpse Lord remained near the Sin of the Forest.

The three undead continued fighting while carefully exposing themselves to the power of Corruption.

"Don’t rush," Kaiser ordered. "Keep yourselves focused and continue observing the Rule. We still have lot of expendable undeads."

Selene nodded while blocking another attack while allowing a little part touch her body as she reeled in the sensation that this Rule brought upon her.

On other side Rachel was using similar appraich, Rachel’s expression became more serious as she analyzed the strange energy spreading across her body, while the Corpse Lord endured the corruption with his powerful regenerative abilities.

Unlike other two he let all attacks fall on his body while being in Chimera form of Troll boosting his regeneration to max.

At the same time, Kaiser’s Death Transfer continued activating.

Every time one of the three suffered a fatal injury, the damage was transferred to another undead somewhere within the scattered army.

Another undead collapsed.

Then another.

And another.

Kaiser frowned as he watched the numbers fall.

"Too many..."

Alex, who was standing beside him, also noticed the situation.

"Your undead are disappearing really quickly."

"I know," Kaiser replied calmly. "That’s why I’m telling them to be fast."

His eyes remained fixed on Selene, Rachel, and the Corpse Lord.

They couldn’t continue sacrificing undead forever.

But if they could gain even a small amount of understanding of the Greater Rule of Corruption from this battle, the losses would be worth it.

Suddenly, the Sin of the Forest released another wave of green-black energy.

The entire battlefield trembled.

Selene’s body was struck directly by the corruption, causing cracks to spread across her pale skin.

The damage was immediately transferred away.

Far away in the forest, another undead collapsed.

Selene didn’t retreat.

Instead, she stared directly at the Sin of the Forest.

Her eyes narrowed as she carefully observed the energy surrounding the monster.

"I understand a little more now..."

Rachel also noticed the same thing.

"The Rule isn’t simply destroying the target. It’s altering the nature of the target itself."

The Corpse Lord remained silent, but his eyes flashed as he reached a similar conclusion.

Kaiser heard their words and became interested.

"So you’ve learned something?"

Selene nodded.

"Yes. But we need more time."

Kaiser glanced at the rapidly decreasing number of undead.

’More time...’

He sighed internally.

"Then you have to learn quickly."

The battlefield had already become a massive exchange of life and death.

The Sin of the Forest continued releasing the power of its Greater Rule, while Selene, Rachel, and the Corpse Lord desperately tried to comprehend it.

And behind them, thousands of undead continued sacrificing themselves to keep their three commanders alive.

Kaiser watched everything carefully.

He knew this method was extremely wasteful.

But if they could comprehend even a fraction of the Rule of Corruption from this battle, it could potentially become one of the most valuable lessons they had ever received.

Alex looked at the scene and shook his head.

"Perhaps you’re the only person in the whole world who could do something like this."

Kaiser nodded while keeping his focus on the number of undead.

Out of the nearly 10,000 undead he had started with, only around 6,000 remained.

"Come on, guys," Kaiser couldn’t help but silently cheer as time continued to pass.

Just when his undead army had been reduced to around 1,000, Kaiser was about to call them back. However, suddenly, Selene erupted with power.

"Finally!"

Seeing this, Kaiser couldn’t help but feel happy.

But it wasn’t only her.

A few seconds later, Rachel also erupted with power, followed by the Corpse Lord.

All three of them had awakened a Rule that they were naturally attuned to.

Numerous notifications immediately flashed in front of Kaiser, but he ignored them for the moment.

Selene, Rachel, and the Corpse Lord were no longer being pushed back. Their bodies were now surrounded by their respective Rule Veils, protecting them from the sickly green corruption spreading from the Sin of the Forest.

"Damn, all three of your undead went beyond and comprehended Supreme Rules!" Alex exclaimed as he sensed the powerful Rule auras surrounding them.

Kaiser immediately turned toward him.

"How do you know?"

He couldn’t help but ask.

Unless he saw the notifications, even Kaiser couldn’t tell whether the Rules they had comprehended were Lesser, Greater, or Supreme Rules.

Yet Alex seemed to know the difference just by sensing their Rule auras.
