The surrounding ground was instantly covered in thick ice, but Rachel simply flew higher and avoided the attack.

She raised her staff again.

"Ruination Suppression."

A massive circle of white-gold energy appeared above the Glacier Goblin.

The moment Rachel activated the skill, the circle descended and pressed against its body.

The Glacier Goblin’s knees bent under the enormous pressure.

It roared and tried to break free, but the more it struggled, the stronger the Ruination Energy became.

Kaiser watched the battle calmly from a distance.

Rachel was clearly much stronger than the Glacier Goblin, but she was deliberately suppressing it instead of killing it.

After several seconds, the Glacier Goblin finally lost the strength to resist.

It dropped its weapon and fell to one knee.

Rachel slowly descended in front of it.

She pointed her staff toward its forehead.

"Submit to me, and you will live."

The Glacier Goblin stared at her with its icy eyes.

For a moment, it remained silent.

Then it lowered its head.

Rachel smiled.

"Good."

A large amount of white-gold Ruination Energy suddenly poured from her staff and entered the Glacier Goblin’s body.

The Glacier Goblin’s body trembled as the energy spread through its entire body.

A magic circle appeared beneath its feet.

At the same time, the ice armor covering its body began changing.

The white ice became covered with faint white-gold patterns, while its icy crown transformed into a more refined crown-like armor.

A powerful aura erupted from its body.

System notifications appeared in front of Kaiser.

Kaiser raised an eyebrow.

"Frost Ruination Knight. It seems he retained his powerful Ice Manipulation ability."

Rachel looked toward Kaiser and smiled.

"Of course, Master."

The newly transformed Glacier Goblin slowly stood up.

It was still a goblin, but its appearance had changed completely. Its body was covered in white-gold armor, and a massive greatsword appeared in its hands.

A cold aura mixed with Ruination Energy surrounded its body.

It then walked toward Rachel and knelt before her.

"Captain Knight of Ruination, awaiting your command."

Rachel looked pleased as she placed a hand on its head.

"Stand up. From now on, you will fight alongside me."

The Glacier Goblin stood up and silently took its place behind Rachel.

Kaiser then looked at the remaining Frost Goblins.

All of them were already dead.

Selene and Corpse Lord began selecting the more powerful corpses. Selene chose several of the stronger ones to turn into Rose Knights, while Corpse Lord absorbed the remaining corpses to strengthen itself.

Kaiser then looked at the two anomalies that had recently turned into powerful undead knights.

The Blue Thunder Troll was now a Frozen Lightning Rose Knight Captain under Selene, while the Glacier Goblin had become a Frost Ruination Knight Captain under Rachel.

Kaiser narrowed his eyes.

"Tell me, is there any specific reason why you two turned into such powerful anomalies?"

One or two unusual monsters could be considered a coincidence, but this was already the third anomaly they had encountered.

There were supposed to be only six anomalies in the entire mountain range, each appearing only once every hundred years.

Yet Kaiser had already encountered three of them in such a short period.

This could no longer be a coincidence.

There had to be a reason behind it.

Both Knight Captains looked at each other before the Frost Ruination Knight Captain spoke.

"It is because of the special state of the mountain."

Kaiser raised an eyebrow.

"The special state of the mountain?"

The Frost Ruination Knight Captain nodded.

"Yes. The mountain does not usually produce this many anomalies."

"Normally, only one powerful anomaly appears among each species every hundred years. However, this time, all six species produced an anomaly."

Kaiser frowned slightly.

"So all six anomalies appeared at the same time?"

"Yes, Master."

The Frozen Lightning Rose Knight Captain nodded as well.

"The strongest individuals of our species were affected by it."

Kaiser thought for a moment.

"Why?"

The two Knight Captains looked at each other again.

"We call it the Mountain Blessing."

"The Mountain Blessing?" Kaiser repeated.

The Frost Ruination Knight Captain nodded.

"Yes. It is something that happens extremely rarely. We do not know why it happens, but when it does, the strongest members of each species receive a special blessing from the mountain."

"It greatly increases their potential and allows them to develop abilities far beyond those of their normal kind."

Kaiser looked toward the massive mountain range in the distance.

"So this Mountain Blessing is the reason six anomalies appeared this time."

"Yes."

Kaiser became more interested.

"Where is this Mountain Blessing? or is it even a thing?"

The two Knight Captains immediately became silent.

They looked at each other with hesitation.

Kaiser noticed their reaction.

"Take me to it."

Both of them looked at Kaiser in shock.

"Master, you will die."

Kaiser raised an eyebrow.

"Die?"

The Frost Ruination Knight Captain nodded seriously.

"The place where the Mountain Blessing appeared is located at the very top of the mountain."

"It is protected by Rank 6 monsters."

Kaiser remained silent.

"We normally get only one or two Rank 6 monsters appearing there every hundred years," the Frozen Lightning Rose Knight Captain continued.

"But this time, there are six of them."

Kaiser’s eyes narrowed.

"Six Rank 6 monsters?"

"Yes, Master."

The Frost Ruination Knight Captain nodded.

"No one can enter that place and come out alive unless they are at least Rank 6 themselves."

The two Knight Captains looked at Kaiser seriously.

"Master, even if we lead you there, we cannot guarantee your safety."

Kaiser looked toward the towering mountain in the distance.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"So the Mountain Blessing is protected by six Rank 6 monsters..."

He became even more interested.

"It seems there is quite a secret hidden in this mountain," he mumbled as he looked toward the distant peak.

"Pity I can’t go there myself, but that doesn’t mean my undead can’t."

He paused for a moment before smiling.

"Now I know what kind of undead I want to create—a Legendary Thief capable of stealing anything, even from high-ranked beings."
