Chapter 136: Chimera Abomination

The creature released a low growl.

White frost energy leaked from its body and spread across the surrounding ground.

Kaiser stared at it for a moment.

"So this is your undead creation?"

The Corpse Lord nodded.

"I can create Chimera Abominations, my Lord."

Kaiser looked at the monster again.

It was obvious that the Corpse Lord’s method was completely different from the other Greater-Class Undead.

Selene transformed creatures through Blood Roses.

Rachel created powerful armored knights through Ruination Energy.

The Corpse Lord, however, simply combined different corpses and stitched them together to create a completely new undead creature.

Kaiser narrowed his eyes as he observed the Chimera Abomination.

"It’s like you are taking the strongest parts of several corpses and combining them into one."

The Corpse Lord nodded.

"That is correct, my Lord."

"Then the result depends on the corpses you use."

"Yes. The stronger and more varied the corpses are, the stronger the Chimera Abomination can become."

Kaiser looked at the Frost Troll Chimera Abomination again.

Although it had only been created from Frost Troll corpses because those were the only suitable corpses available at the moment, its body was already much stronger than that of a normal Frost Troll.

It had multiple arms, increased physical strength, powerful regeneration, and the Frost Troll’s natural resistance to the cold.

Kaiser couldn’t help but become interested.

’If I give the Corpse Lord corpses from different powerful races, the results could be much more interesting.’

He imagined combining the body parts of Orcs, Trolls, Goblins, beasts, and even stronger monsters.

The possibilities were almost endless.

Kaiser looked at the Corpse Lord.

"Can you choose which parts to use?"

"Yes, my Lord. I can select the strongest parts from the available corpses and combine them."

Kaiser nodded with satisfaction.

"Then this ability is more useful than I expected."

The Corpse Lord lowered its head.

"I will continue improving my creations, my Lord."

Kaiser looked at the Chimera Abomination once again.

"Good. For now, keep creating them from the corpses we collect."

"Understood."

The Chimera Abomination stood silently behind the Corpse Lord, its multiple arms hanging at its sides as frost energy continued to flow around its body.

Kaiser looked at his three Greater-Class Undead.

Selene could create Rose Knights.

Rachel could create Knights of Ruination.

And now the Corpse Lord could create Chimera Abominations.

’Each of them has their own way of creating undead.’

Kaiser smiled slightly.

With his own Undead Creation ability combined with the abilities of his Greater-Class Undead, his army was becoming more diverse with every new discovery.

Kaiser looked at his three Greater-Class Undead for a moment.

Each of them had developed in a completely different direction.

Selene was a Blood Rose Demoness who could create Rose Knights.

Rachel was a Fallen Priestess of Ruin who could create Knights of Ruination.

And the Corpse Lord had been created unexpectedly after Kaiser combined more than ten thousand undead together, giving it the ability to create Chimera Abominations.

Kaiser couldn’t help but wonder what kind of Greater-Class Undead he should create next.

’I already have a powerful close-range fighter through the Corpse Lord, a blood-based undead through Selene, and a priestess with Ruination abilities through Rachel.’

He crossed his arms and thought carefully.

’What am I missing?’

Kaiser had a huge undead army, but most of his undead were focused on combat.

If he wanted to make his army more diverse, he needed undead that could provide other kinds of support.

Several ideas immediately came to his mind.

’An Alchemy-type undead could be useful.’

Such an undead could potentially create potions, refine monster materials, and process rare ingredients.

With the number of monsters his army killed, they would have access to a huge amount of materials.

An undead alchemist could turn those materials into useful resources instead of letting them go to waste.

’An undead blacksmith would also be useful.’

Kaiser looked at the weapons and armor carried by his undead.

He had thousands of undead soldiers, and maintaining all of their equipment would become increasingly difficult as his army grew stronger.

A powerful undead blacksmith could forge weapons and armor for his army, repair damaged equipment, and perhaps even create special equipment from monster materials.

He could also create undead focused on other professions.

An undead runic mage could create magical formations and runes.

An undead architect could build fortresses and underground bases.

An undead researcher could study monsters, bloodlines, skills, and unusual materials.

Kaiser continued thinking.

’There are too many possibilities.’

He already had Marina, who was a Runic Alchemist, but she was still a living human and could not possibly handle everything for his entire army.

Having an undead with a similar profession would allow him to create another reliable source of support that did not need rest.

Kaiser glanced toward the battlefield.

There were still countless monster materials around them.

Frost Troll bones.

Frost Troll hides.

Frost Troll blood.

Frost Troll cores.

All of them could potentially be used for something.

’Instead of only increasing the number of soldiers, I should start creating undead that can help develop the army.’

The thought made Kaiser nod.

His undead army was already large enough.

What it needed now was greater diversity.

He looked at Selene, Rachel, and the Corpse Lord again.

’The next Greater-Class Undead should have a completely different purpose.’

Kaiser then smiled.

"An Alchemy Undead or a Blacksmith Undead..."

Marina heard him and looked curious.

"What are you thinking about, Kai?"

Kaiser looked at her.

"I’m thinking about what kind of Greater-Class Undead I should create next."

Marina’s eyes widened slightly.

"Another one?"

"Yes."

Kaiser nodded.

"I already have enough combat-focused undead. I want the next one to provide something different."

Rachel immediately became interested.

"What kind of undead are you considering?"

"An alchemist or a blacksmith," Kaiser replied. "Maybe something even more specialized."

Selene nodded.

"That would make your army more efficient."

"Exactly."

Kaiser looked at the mountains around them.

"For now, I’ll keep thinking about it. I don’t want to create another Greater-Class Undead without considering what my army actually needs."

He then turned toward the undead collecting the remaining corpses.

"Let’s continue hunting."

The undead immediately followed his command.

Kaiser started walking deeper into the mountains with Marina, Selene, Rachel, and the Corpse Lord following behind him.

As they moved forward, Kaiser continued thinking about his next creation.
