My Pervert Sytem
Chapter 163: Docks of Decay
A dense surge of raw physical power flooded his nervous system, reinforcing the heavy, corded muscles in his arms and back.
Leon slowly released the flustered spy, turning his attention back to the tactical map of the capital.
"Where is the first anchor located?" Leon asked, his voice dropping into a cold, military register.
Valeriana swallowed hard, taking a shaky breath to regain her composure. She tapped a specific section of the map located far to the south, right along the edge of the sprawling capital river.
"The Smuggler’s Docks," she answered, her voice trembling slightly. "It is a massive, decaying labyrinth of old shipping warehouses. The Syndicate uses it to bring illegal goods in from the coast. It is heavily guarded, and the local mercenaries do not take kindly to uninvited guests."
"We will need a guide who knows the docks," Seraphina noted, her strategic mind calculating the terrain.
"I know someone," Valeriana offered, recovering her haughty confidence. "A rogue privateer named Captain Nyx. She runs the Blackwater Company. She owes me a significant debt for keeping the imperial tax collectors off her back last year. She can get us inside."
Leon nodded, feeling the familiar, intoxicating thrill of an impending battle.
He looked at Beatrice and Elara, who were standing quietly near the manor doors. The Ice Queen and the Tyrant Cook had proven their lethality, but defending the estate was equally vital.
"Beatrice, Elara," Leon ordered, projecting his calm authority. "Fortify this manor. If the Syndicate attempts a counter-attack while we are gone, I want them frozen solid and burned to ash."
"It will be done, Master," Beatrice replied, offering a flawless, devoted curtsy.
The strike team was set. Leon, Seraphina, and Valeriana would head south to the docks, diving into the murky, violent underbelly of the capital’s shipping sector.
The rabbit hole was pulling them deeper, and Leon intended to drag the entire Syndicate down with him.

The Smuggler’s Docks were a sprawling, rotting nightmare situated on the southern edge of the capital river.
A thick, suffocating blanket of gray fog rolled off the freezing water, obscuring the decaying wooden piers and rusted iron cranes that loomed in the distance like skeletal giants. The air tasted heavily of brine, rotting fish, and cheap spilled ale.
Leon walked smoothly through the muddy, uneven streets, his dark tailored cloak absorbing the ambient moisture. He kept his advanced tracking senses fully extended, picking up the faint, erratic heartbeats of dockworkers, thieves, and mercenaries hiding in the shadowy alleyways.
Valeriana led the way, navigating the maze of sagging warehouses with surprising familiarity. The beautiful spy kept her hand resting near a small, hidden dagger tucked into her leather belt, clearly agitated by the treacherous environment.
Seraphina marched quietly on Leon’s right, her gray traveling cloak concealing the brilliant crimson armor beneath. The warlord despised the lawless squalor of the docks, but she maintained a cold, calculating silence, keeping her hand resting on the hilt of her heavy broadsword.
They approached a massive, dilapidated tavern built directly over the rushing black water. The wooden sign hanging above the door depicted a kraken dragging a merchant ship into the abyss.
"The Salty Leviathan," Valeriana murmured, stopping near the entrance. "Captain Nyx uses the back rooms as her primary operational hub. Let me do the talking. Nyx is fiercely territorial, and she hates highborn aristocrats."
Leon offered a slight nod, allowing the spy to take the lead.
They pushed through the heavy wooden doors, entering a dim, smoke-filled cavern of absolute debauchery. Rough, scarred sailors and heavily armed mercenaries filled the tables, throwing dice and drinking dark, foul-smelling rum.
The noise level dropped significantly as the trio walked in, dozens of hostile, calculating eyes locking onto Leon’s towering, muscular frame.
He projected a fraction of his Intimidation Aura, unleashing a dense, suffocating wave of physical pressure that sent a clear, unspoken warning.
The mercenaries quickly averted their gaze, deciding their cheap ale was far more interesting than picking a fight with a monster.
Valeriana walked straight toward the back of the tavern, bypassing the crowded bar entirely. She slipped through a beaded curtain, entering a dimly lit, private harbor office that smelled strongly of sea salt and expensive tobacco.
Sitting behind a scarred wooden desk, her heavy leather boots propped casually on the table, was Captain Nyx.
The mercenary commander was a striking, dangerous woman. Her skin was deeply tanned from years on the open ocean, contrasting sharply with her short, chaotic burst of jet-black hair.
A thin, jagged scar ran down the left side of her lip, giving her a permanent, predatory smirk. She wore a fitted leather corsair outfit, and twin curved cutlasses rested securely on her hips.
Nyx did not flinch as they entered.
She took a slow drag from a thin cigar, exhaling a cloud of gray smoke toward the wooden ceiling.
"Valeriana," Nyx greeted, her voice a husky, gravelly purr that commanded immediate attention. "I told you the next time you came to my docks, you better be bringing my cut of the Vaelorian silk trade."
"I am bringing you something far more valuable, Nyx," the spy replied smoothly, resting her hands on the wooden desk. "I am offering you a chance to clear your debt completely."
The mercenary captain lowered her boots, leaning forward. Her sharp, predatory eyes bypassed the spy entirely, locking onto the massive, dark-suited man standing in the doorway.
She inspected Leon’s broad chest and striking features with blatant, unapologetic hunger.
"And who is the tall, dark mountain of muscle?" Nyx asked, a wicked grin spreading across her scarred lips. "He doesn’t look like your usual soft, bureaucratic lapdogs."
"My name is Leon," he stated, stepping into the dim office. His deep, resonant voice vibrated off the wooden walls. "And I am the man who is going to burn a Syndicate anchor to the ground tonight."
Nyx raised a dark eyebrow, genuinely intrigued. The Eclipse Syndicate was a terrifying force, even on the lawless docks.
"You want to hit the Violet Obelisk," Nyx deduced, tapping her cigar over an iron ashtray. "It is located in Warehouse Forty-Two, right on the edge of the deep water harbor. But you are out of your mind if you think you can just walk in. The Syndicate stationed a Tier Two Enforcer there, and they brought some very ugly pets."
