My Online Girlfriend Has a Twin Sister
Chapter 756 507: Lingering
Her breathing grew ragged. Reluctantly, Chen Yuan pulled away, letting her catch her breath. Jiangg Ning gasped for air, a glistening thread stretching between their lips.
Her cheeks were flushed, and she shot Chen Yuan a slightly reproachful look.
"So? Feeling anything yet?" Chen Yuan asked earnestly, his eyes glinting.
"Feeling what?"
"Heart racing? Body heating up?"
Chen Yuan cupped Jiangg Ning's cheeks, his other hand still gripping her pale wrist. With a bit of force, he pinned both of Ningning's hands, his movements forceful as he pressed her down.
"No. This is just uncomfortable. Let go of my hands," Jiangg Ning said, struggling and writhing beneath him.
But with their chests pressed so close, her struggles were futile. In fact, they only fueled Chen Yuan's desire.
"Discomfort is a feeling, too."
"I don't like it."
"No, don't be so quick to jump to conclusions."
As he spoke, Chen Yuan gently lifted the hem of Ningning's shirt. Her eyes widened even further at the motion.
"We've already come this far. I suggest you relax a little, Ningning, honey. You know I'm not going to let you go. I've dreamed of this day for so, so long... You smell so good..."
Chen Yuan greedily inhaled her scent—a mix of her body wash and her own faint, natural fragrance. It was an intoxicating combination.
"Are you sure? Isn't this a little sudden? According to my plan, we were supposed to communicate properly first, and only proceed with mutual consent... seriously, formally, after doing our research, and following the steps."
"Ningning, we're not writing a thesis. Come on, relax a little."
Jiangg Ning's mind went blank; she didn't know what to do.
A moment later, Jiangg Ning's smooth, soft toes curled, and her mind went completely blank.
…
Outside, at some point, the sky had grown overcast.
The sky was frighteningly dark. Heavy clouds blotted out the stars, swallowing the moonlight as well.
Soon, the air grew thick with moisture.
The impending storm was heralded by low rumbles of thunder. The wind began to howl, tossing the branches in the villa's small garden back and forth.
In a fleeting instant, a flash of lightning lit up the entire terrace, revealing the first splatters of rain on the smooth ground.
WHOOSH—
The rain came pouring down.
In the bedroom.
Through a process of reluctant yielding, Jiangg Ning's world was turned upside down. She lost all ability to think.
Naturally sensitive, her reactions were far more intense than an ordinary person's. After just one round of pleasure, she was nearly spent.
It was new and unfamiliar.
A feeling she had never experienced in her entire life.
From this moment on, their souls were truly united.
Although Chen Yuan had taken the lead the entire time, Jiangg Ning gradually found pleasure in the new, unfamiliar experience. The shift from discomfort to bliss was instantaneous.
She was bathed in a fine sheen of sweat.
Like the rain-drenched flowers outside, swaying precariously in the wind...
...…
「The next morning.」
The rain-washed sky was almost unnaturally clear. In the distance, a faint rainbow arched across the sky.
The housekeeper emerged from her quarters behind the garden. The ground was littered with broken branches and fallen leaves, remnants of the storm. Even some of the more delicate flower buds had been knocked from their stems.
'Looks like there's a lot of work to do.'
The housekeeper thought to herself as she rubbed her eyes and walked toward the door. A few minutes later, the other staff members began to trickle out, pointing at the rainbow behind the house and marveling at the sight.
Early in the morning, the courtyard was already bustling with activity.
Sweeping and scrubbing the grounds, tidying the garden... someone was wiping the mud-streaked outer window panes with a towel.
Jiangg Ruxue had rested the whole night and woke up feeling refreshed. For the first half of the night, she had been reluctant to even fall asleep; the contrast between the cold, hard communal bunk in the detention center and the soft bed at home was so stark it took her a while to adjust.
She eventually fell into a deep sleep, and when she woke again, it was daylight.
She hadn't woken up particularly early. She came downstairs, planning to go outside for some fresh air and a morning run.
The housekeeper cleaning the courtyard saw her and greeted her, "Ma'am, you're awake? Breakfast is ready in the kitchen. You can eat after your run."
"I'm not in a rush. Are they awake yet?" Jiangg Ruxue glanced back up the stairs. The "they" she referred to were, of course, her two daughters.
"Well... I was just about to go and check. The eldest young lady hasn't come down this morning, which is unusual for her. By this time, she'd normally have finished breakfast and be in the study. Should I go ask?"
"She hasn't come down?" Jiangg Ruxue paused, surprised.
Jiangg Ning had always been an early riser. Even on a late day, she'd be up by seven-something. It had always been that way at home, and the staff were used to the eldest young lady not sleeping in.
She was usually the first one downstairs.
And now, at 8:56, it was almost nine in the morning.
It was highly unusual.
"Don't go," Jiangg Ruxue said quickly. "Nobody disturb her. Let her sleep as late as she wants."
With that, she gave up on her run, strode into the living room, and started sipping her morning tea.
She would just wait for Jiangg Ning to wake up and come downstairs.
In this household, no one ever tried to wake Jiangg Yao in the morning. Everyone knew Yaoyao's routine; she was guaranteed to sleep in, often until late into the morning. That was why the housekeepers always prepared ready-to-eat food in the fridge the night before, so she could just heat it up in the microwave.
That was what it felt like to be home.
Being waited on hand and foot.
It was true happiness.
The quiet, peaceful moment passed in a flash. A tiny sound came from upstairs—the click of a door opening, barely louder than the clink of a teacup being set down.
CLICK.
But Jiangg Ruxue's hearing was exceptionally sharp, and she caught it instantly.
She looked up to see a pair of long, pale legs in slippers descending the stairs one step at a time. The hem of a rose-colored nightdress swayed with every movement.
Even as a woman herself, Jiangg Ruxue had to admit the sight was breathtakingly beautiful.
Aside from phrases like "beauty that could topple nations," there were no other words to describe how pretty Jiangg Ning was.
She came downstairs into the main hall, picked up a cup of tea from the table, and downed it in one go.
Jiangg Ruxue's gaze never left her. Seeing the healthy flush on Ningning's cheeks, she could barely contain the look of delighted surprise in her eyes, and she just kept staring.
"What's wrong... Mom, why are you staring at me?" Jiangg Ning frowned slightly.
"It's... nothing."
"I'm going to go get ready, then."
Her steps were light, and her cheeks held a girlish shyness, like an eighteen-year-old secretly nursing a new crush.
Jiangg Ning had never slept so soundly. Her body was pleasantly exhausted; she'd closed her eyes, and the next thing she knew, it was broad daylight.
She felt as if all the stress she'd been carrying had been swept away.
From her mother's incident to preparing for her exams, she had been shouldering too much lately. As she recalled the events of last night... she gently bit her lip.
It was like a dream.
She'd never imagined such a night of passion could be so wonderfully pleasant.
'Oh, right, I need to wash the sheets...' she thought to herself as she headed back upstairs.
