My Online Girlfriend Has a Twin Sister

Chapter 714 - 479: Scratching an Itch

  • Next Chapter

In the two sisters’ hospital room.

On a single bed, three people were lying on their stomachs together, with Chen Yuan sandwiched between Ningning and Yaoyao.

The soft light from the ceiling cast a glow on the sisters’ bare, rosy feet. Their clean, rounded toenails glistened, reflecting the light.

All three of them had their eyes fixed on the phone Chen Yuan was holding.

They weren’t huddled together to watch any sort of risqué film; they were discussing something very serious.

Pointing at a wedding dress on the screen, Jiangg Yao’s eyes sparkled with excitement.

"This one’s beautiful! It’s like a mermaid’s tail, with layers that shimmer like scales. It looks so pretty."

"It’s probably the lighting effects that make it sparkle so much. It must be really heavy, though, right? I prefer the one I mentioned earlier—the one with the full skirt covered in white roses. It’s formal but still elegant, and the neckline design is so unique."

"That one is nice, I agree. Actually, several dresses from this shop are quite eye-catching, much better than the last one."

"Agreed."

Seeing that the two of them had finally reached a rare consensus, Chen Yuan quickly voiced his own opinion.

Just as he had told the sisters earlier, they were going to get their wedding photos taken in Kyoto. His family had sent him information on several bridal shops, including photos of their finished work.

And so, the three of them began picking one out, deliberating over which shop to go with.

At first, Ningning and Yaoyao couldn’t agree. Their tastes were different, and Chen Yuan felt stuck in the middle, especially when they would occasionally ask for his opinion.

"There are three more. Let’s look through all of them before we decide."

"Can we just go and have photos taken with any of these we see?"

"No, they all require appointments, especially the last one we looked at," Chen Yuan replied.

"Huh? Then what’s the point of choosing? We might not even be able to get a slot on the day," Jiangg Yao said with a frown.

"That’s not it. We can do the shoot on Monday. Appointments have already been made for all of these. We have VIP status, which gives us priority. Cha arranged it for all ten shops."

"Oh, I see."

"Your father went to a lot of trouble. It must not have been easy to book so many places," Jiangg Ning said, a little surprised.

"Well, wedding photos are very important. Whether they’re for the wedding itself or just as a memento, they’re used in so many places. We should try to get the best."

"That makes sense."

Jiangg Ning and Jiangg Yao both nodded. As women, they were very pleased to hear Chen Yuan say something like that. At least it proved he wasn’t a completely clueless guy; his way of thinking was quite thoughtful.

After all, countless men in this world thought they were just wedding photos and not worth so much effort. If the first shoot didn’t turn out well, they could just do a reshoot later.

But girls care about the sense of ceremony, especially when it comes to a love they’ve fantasized endlessly about. While reshooting if they weren’t satisfied was an option, that feeling of hopeful anticipation couldn’t be recreated every time.

Having an expectation met is one of the happiest things in the world.

The observant Jiangg Ning noticed the label under each picture, which listed the designer’s name, country of origin, and brand.

"When I was studying abroad, I saw this one Italian bridal shop. It’s on Hillhouse Avenue. I used to pass by it every time I went to buy flowers with my friends. Every single dress in that huge floor-to-ceiling window was beautiful. Once, during my junior year, we ducked in there to get out of the rain and couldn’t resist taking a look... even a random dress was unimaginably expensive. Also, that shop from Milan and the one from France we just looked at—they’re all very famous brands."

"Expensive? How expensive?" Jiangg Yao asked curiously, following up on her sister’s words.

"A single dress costs about the same as my current monthly salary."

"How much is your salary again?"

In response to Jiangg Yao’s confused question, Jiangg Ning looked at Chen Yuan.

"Excluding the year-end bonus, over seven hundred thousand a month?"

"Over seven hundred thousand for one dress!?"

Even though she never worried about price when buying clothes and had lived a pampered life since childhood, Jiangg Yao was still completely shocked. Her usual clothes started at a few thousand, with the occasional luxury brand piece costing tens of thousands. Of course, that didn’t include custom-made formal gowns.

The price of these wedding dresses was insane!

"It doesn’t matter," Chen Yuan said coolly. "Even if they were twice as expensive, I could still afford them. Pick whatever you want. As long as the shop has it, I can pay for it."

Both sisters looked at him at the same time.

"You’re being a little handsome today, Young Master," Jiangg Yao said, clutching her chest theatrically.

"A little domineering," Jiangg Ning couldn’t help but add.

"Is this what it feels like to marry into a rich family?"

"Let’s look at the dresses."

"Let’s pick the absolute best one!"

They were instantly united. The unpleasantness of their earlier argument was completely forgotten as they immersed themselves in the thrill of extravagant indulgence.

When it came to money, Chen Yuan could truly say that to him, it was no different from paper.

To an ordinary person, the Jiangg Family’s status was already an untouchable existence. But to the Jiangg Family, Chen Yuan’s family background represented the true upper echelons of the wealthy elite.

As the saying goes, the economic base determines the superstructure. Most spiritual abundance is predicated on material wealth.

That’s just the reality of things.

The two sisters could also give in to their hearts’ desires and enjoy their young master’s extravagance with a clear conscience. After all, who could blame them for having such good taste in finding such a wonderful boyfriend?

"Wow, this shop is great too! The very first dress is so beautiful."

And so, a heartwarming and harmonious scene unfolded on the pristine white bed.

Jiangg Yao clung to Chen Yuan’s arm, shaking it every time she saw a beautiful dress, her gorgeous eyes seeming to glow.

Meanwhile, Jiangg Ning nestled quietly beside Chen Yuan, her cheek resting against his shoulder.

Warmth enveloped him from both sides. Chen Yuan was surrounded by the faint, alluring fragrance from the sisters, feeling their body heat.

He suddenly thought, ’Life is so blissful.’

Looking at these wedding photos, it was as if Chen Yuan could already see the two sisters in their wedding dresses, smiling at him. ’What an honor it is for a guy to accompany his two wives to try on wedding dresses, especially when they’re twins so beautiful that even the passing wind can’t help but stop and linger for a while longer.’

Just thinking about that scene made him grin from ear to ear.

...

「The night deepened.」

He hadn’t expected it would take so long to decide on a bridal shop. It was mainly because Ningning and Yaoyao spent a long time looking, and in their hesitation, went back and looked through everything again.

The first time through, he could still offer opinions, help them choose, and maintain his enthusiasm. The second time, he just gave up and played dead, tossing the phone into Jiangg Ning’s hands and letting the two of them sort it out themselves.

Of course, he wasn’t idle either.

His audacious "demon claws" roamed freely over the sisters’ beautiful figures, never lingering for too long. One moment he’d be wrapping an arm around Ningning’s waist, the next he’d be sneaking a touch elsewhere. The secret thrill he felt was beyond words.

It was rare to have a moment like this, where no matter what he did, the two sisters barely paid him any mind, completely focused on their own task. He had even tentatively given Jiangg Ning a squeeze just now, but she only flinched away slightly without breaking her concentration.

"Have you decided yet?"

"Just give me five more minutes. It’s down to two. The final battle," Jiangg Yao said, a look of mock seriousness on her delicate, beautiful face.

Ningning, on the other hand, looked just as serious.

Under the sisters’ ruthless scrutiny, the ten shops had been whittled down to just two.

One was a renowned Italian shop with over two hundred years of history. It was said that before the country’s monarchy was abolished, even the king and queen had worn their formal attire. The other was an internationally acclaimed brand with stores in Huaxia only in Kyoto and Shanghai. It was founded by a designer from Milan, and while it didn’t have as long a history, its designs were so outstanding that both Jiangg Ning and Jiangg Yao called them exceptionally creative.

"Young Master, give us some advice." Jiangg Yao turned her head, only to see a smug smile on Chen Yuan’s face.

"Er... huh?"

"Which shop should we choose!"

"The one we just looked at was pretty good."

"Which one?"

"The one with the sacred flame pattern on the wedding dress."

"That one’s already been eliminated. Can’t you pay attention to our discussion?"

"I wasn’t paying attention..." Chen Yuan avoided her gaze, feeling guilty.

’I’m so busy. I can barely keep up with hugging both my wives. Where would I find the time to think about wedding dresses?’

’Besides, when it comes to men’s suits, forgive me... but I really can’t see any major differences. Maybe there are just subtle variations in the cut.’

Jiangg Yao sighed in frustration, her mind racing as images of one wedding dress after another flashed through her head.

"Alright... I choose..."

"Which one do you choose?" Chen Yuan asked eagerly.

"To look at them one more time!"

"AGH—"

He pulled the blanket over his head and dove under it.

If they didn’t book one soon... the shop was still waiting for confirmation on the appointment, and it was almost ten o’clock at night.

He glanced at the time: 9:24 PM.

"It’s so hot. Can we turn on the air conditioner?"

"I can open the window for you to get some air."

"Sigh..." Jiangg Yao tilted her head back and stretched her neck. Her back seemed to be a little itchy. She reached back to scratch it, but after a lot of effort, she still couldn’t reach the right spot.

It was so frustrating.

The weather today had been hot and humid, and she had sweated a lot.

"Young Master."

"Hm? What’s wrong?"

"Can you scratch my back for me? It’s so itchy, it’s driving me crazy."

"Where?"

Hearing this, Chen Yuan slipped a hand under the hem of her T-shirt, searching for the itchy spot on her back.

"A little higher... yes... right there. No, a little more to the left. Use a bit more force."

"I’m already using a lot of force."

"It’s not working."

Perhaps because Chen Yuan still hadn’t scratched the right spot to her satisfaction, Jiangg Yao felt it was always just slightly off. So she made a direct request:

"Unclasp my strap in the back and then scratch. This is too uncomfortable."

"Well... alright."

Chen Yuan forced himself not to look at Jiangg Ning, trying to keep his composure. ’It’s just scratching an itch, nothing more,’ he thought. ’It’s perfectly normal.’

His hand traveled upwards, gradually finding the clasp at her back, and then he began to slowly unfasten it.

But his movements were somewhat clumsy, and for the first thirty seconds, he didn’t manage to undo a single hook.

Jiangg Yao patiently let him try to unfasten it, but after what felt like an eternity, she finally lost her patience.

"Seriously, why are you so clumsy? Can you do it or not?"

"How do I do it?" Chen Yuan asked, clearing his throat to hide his embarrassment.

"If you try to undo it hook by hook like that, you won’t get it open by next year. The clasp on this kind of bra is a tension clasp, understand? You’ll never get it open by pulling it apart. That’s why it’s so secure. You have to push inward. One push and a pull, and it’ll open."

"Oh?" He only half-understood.

"Did you get that?"

"Fifty-fifty."

"Sigh... put your hand back on it, I’ll teach you... That’s right, push the two sides toward the middle, use a little more force. Do you feel the clasp coming undone?"

"Hey! I think it really did come undone."

"Okay, now let go."

As Chen Yuan followed her instructions, the strap came undone smoothly. Jiangg Yao let out a sigh as if a heavy burden had been lifted, contentedly enjoying the pleasant sensation of having her itch scratched.
