"I WON’T LET YOU!"

Rin’s roar erupted across the battlefield as his massive nine tailed demon fox form burst into the scene from the side, moving so quickly that even Damian barely had time to register his arrival. Rin’s enormous claws swept toward Lazarus with enough force to tear through the surrounding buildings, striking the Golden Deity directly before his fist could descend upon Damian.

BOOOOM!

The impact sent Lazarus hurtling backward several dozen meters, his golden body cutting through the air before he suddenly stopped himself. Despite taking the full force of Rin’s attack, not a single wound could be seen across his golden body. He merely floated there, his expression unchanged as if the attack had barely inconvenienced him.

Rin stared at him with genuine shock written across his face.

"What the hell..." he mumbled, his nine tails swaying behind him as he examined the unharmed God.

Damian landed on Rin’s head, his long hair completely disheveled while several beads of sweat rolled down his face.

Rin glanced upward and asked, "Now you see what a real God’s power looks like?"

Damian looked over his shoulder, and his eyes immediately widened. Everything behind him had been completely obliterated. The wall he had been standing against was gone, along with several buildings behind it, leaving nothing but a massive stretch of destruction.

"If we were fighting in the real world, this bastard would easily be able to obliterate my capital in a few punches," Damian said with a deep frown.

Rin’s expression became serious. "Now you know what a God is capable of. Fight accordingly."

Damian slowly returned his attention to Lazarus, only to see the Golden Deity already retracting his fist and preparing another attack. Damian’s expression twitched.

"FIGHT HIM ACCORDINGLY? IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!" Lazarus bellowed from across the city before punching forward.

Pa!

Damian immediately clasped his hands together. The countless cherry blossom petals scattered throughout the Realm of Dreams suddenly tore free from the branches, swirling through the air and rushing toward him like a pink storm.

At the same time, entire buildings began ripping themselves from their foundations and flying toward Damian. Stone, wood and debris rapidly assembled in front of him, forming a massive layered barrier of buildings reinforced by thousands of swirling petals.

BOOOOM!

Lazarus’ fist collided with the barrier and obliterated everything in its path. Buildings shattered into countless fragments, petals were scattered into the sky and the shockwave ripped through the surrounding streets, yet when the destruction finally cleared, neither Damian nor Rin remained.

Several miles away, Damian suddenly appeared on the rooftop of another building, Rin now sitting comfortably on his shoulder in his smaller fox form. Damian barely had time to catch his breath before

Buzz!

A towering figure suddenly loomed behind him, its enormous shadow covering the rooftop. Damian’s eyes widened as his instincts screamed at him.

’How? I sent out mirages in all directions of the capital. There is no way he reached me this fast!’ His thoughts raced as he spun around, only to find Lazarus’ golden fist already descending toward his face.

Shit!

"FOOL, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A THOUGHT, MY HAGGLERS EXPLOIT WILL FIND YOU. AS YOUR ILLUSIONS CAN’T HAVE INDEPENDENT THOUGHTS... NOW FEEL THE WEIGHT OF THE WEALTH I HAVE ACCUMULATED IN THE PAST THREE THOUSAND YEARS!" Lazarus bellowed. Damian’s pupils contracted as the fist descended.

"ASURA!!!"

The three headed energy construct exploded into existence around Damian, all six arms immediately moving into position and bracing against the incoming attack while mimicking Damian’s crossed hands.

BOOOOOM!

The impact was catastrophic. The building beneath Damian’s feet was instantly crushed, its entire structure collapsing into the ground as a crater nearly one hundred meters deep formed beneath him. The force continued downward through the surrounding structures, shaking the entire area as Damian’s Asura avatar began cracking under the pressure.

His teeth clenched as blood suddenly sprayed from his mouth, his body struggling to withstand the overwhelming force of Lazarus’ attack. The Asura construct finally shattered beneath the pressure, fragments of purple energy scattering through the air as Damian was driven into the crater.

Lazarus’ indifferent gaze suddenly shifted to the side when he noticed Rin’s smaller form spinning through the air. The fox had already escaped the attack, moving around Lazarus’ flank before gathering immense spiritual energy within his body.

"Fiery Vengeance... Soul Lantern!" Rin roared as azure flames exploded around him.

His body spun violently within the flames, transforming into a gigantic blue hurricane that descended toward Lazarus like a comet.

BOOM!

Lazarus casually extended one hand toward the incoming hurricane and caught it directly in his palm. The collision produced a violent shockwave that tore across the city as Rin’s roar echoed through the sky, yet despite the immense force behind the attack, Lazarus did not move even an inch. His golden arm remained completely steady as azure flames churned against his palm.

Swish!

Lazarus’ eyes narrowed when he suddenly sensed another presence approaching. Damian emerged from the smoke below, charging toward him with one palm extended. Lazarus immediately raised his other fist, preparing to crush him, but something made him hesitate. He turned his head and looked over his shoulder.

Another Damian was approaching from behind.

"Which?" Lazarus muttered, genuine confusion appearing on his face. He could hear the thoughts of both Damains. For the first time, Haggler’s Exploit had encountered something it could not immediately distinguish. The hesitation lasted barely a moment, but against Damian, a moment was enough.

Pa!

Both Damains reached Lazarus simultaneously, one from the front and one from behind, and slammed their palms against his golden body.

"MARTIAL ARTS: CRIMSON KISS!"

The two impacts connected at almost exactly the same instant. Lazarus’ abdomen and back suddenly swelled as immense energy erupted inside his golden body before bursting outward in a violent explosion of azure flames.

The clone standing in front of him immediately disintegrated into purple dust, its body sacrificed to deliver the attack, while the flames continued spreading around Lazarus’ body. The real Damian had already retreated dozens of meters away, his eyes locked on Lazarus as Rin landed gracefully on his shoulder.

Bang!

A golden shockwave suddenly erupted from Lazarus’ body, sweeping the azure flames away and sending the remaining energy scattering across the Realm of Dreams. When the smoke cleared, Lazarus stood completely unharmed, his golden skin still shining as brightly as before. He looked down at Damian and Rin with a calm expression.

"Clever trick..." Lazarus said, studying the space where Damian’s clone had disappeared. "By recreating a clone, both of you had independent thoughts. But that’s too risky. If I destroyed your clone, a portion of your power would have been permanently lost."

Damian chuckled as purple fumes flowed through his body, replenishing the energy he had spent while his mocking expression returned.

"I’m already risking my life fighting you. The loss of a small percentage of my power means nothing." His purple eyes narrowed as he stared directly at the Golden Deity. "Especially if it gives me a chance to kill you."
