Chapter 793: 793

"Is he some kind of psycho?"

"He’s definitely got a screw loose. Can’t he understand plain language?"

"Just get lost! It’s for your own good. The more he talks, the more ridiculous he sounds. He can’t even get the office building back, yet he’s asking for compensation? Medical expenses? Is he insane?"

In the eyes of the crowd, Yang Qi was simply a lunatic, a madman who had escaped from some unknown asylum.

Yang Qi brushed aside Yagyu Muju’s hair and asked, "Are you sure you won’t let me in?"

"Young Master Yagyu!" the security guards exclaimed in shock.

"Damn it! What have you done to Young Master Yagyu?" they demanded angrily.

"I’d advise you not to get involved. For a few thousand a month, it’s not worth risking your lives. This is a matter between our Qifei Group and the Yagyu Corporation, understand?" Yang Qi said coldly.

The security guards sucked in a breath of cold air. As Yang Qi said, they earned three thousand a month at most; it wasn’t worth dying for.

"Alright, I’ll take you to see our president," one of the guards relented. "But you’d better be careful. The president has a terrible temper. If he sees what you did to Young Master Yagyu, you’re a dead man."

"Understood."

Yang Qi nodded. Just as he was about to follow the guard into the building, something plummeted from the floors above.

BANG!

A loud thud echoed. Yang Qi looked over, his brow furrowing. It was a woman, one who had been thrown to her death.

Who knows what she suffered.

The murderous intent in his eyes intensified. Originally, I only wanted to get justice for the employees of the Qifei Group, but I never expected the Yagyu Corporation to be this depraved. I can even hear them laughing from upstairs. There’s not the slightest remorse for killing someone, not even a hint of restraint. This is insane.

"Let’s go."

The killing intent radiating from Yang Qi sent a shiver down the security guard’s spine. This was truly not a man they could afford to provoke.

They entered the elevator and ascended to the top floor, where the office of Yagyu Senyo, president of the Yagyu Corporation, was located.

"This is his office. I can only take you this far. You’ll have to handle the rest yourself," the security guard said before turning to leave.

Yang Qi kicked the office door open. The tremendous noise brought the boisterous laughter inside to an abrupt halt.

"Who are you?"

The man sitting in the president’s chair was middle-aged. On his desk lay a katana, its blade still dripping with fresh blood. Next to the office was a large Martial Arts Arena where dozens of samurai were training. A few other men stood beside Yagyu Senyo, casually chatting about the woman who had just fallen.

It turned out she had come to ask for her wages. She had worked there for a month but had chosen to resign because of Yagyu Senyo’s unreasonable demands and wanted to collect her final paycheck. That had led to her death.

Hearing this, Yang Qi grew even angrier. Although the woman was a stranger to him, the thought of a foreigner daring to act so atrociously on the soil of Dragon Country lit a fire in his heart.

"I’m from the Qifei Group. This place belongs to us now. I suggest you vacate the premises immediately," Yang Qi said coldly.

The people in the office didn’t recognize the disheveled man Yang Qi was holding. Yagyu Muju, still in a daze, didn’t cry out for help.

"Qifei Group?" Yagyu Senyo chuckled, mocking them in a heavily accented Dragon Country language. "You people really won’t cry until you see the coffin, will you? I’ve said it many times: this place belongs to the Yagyu Corporation."

"What you say is meaningless. According to the contract and official documents, this place already belongs to the Qifei Group. Furthermore, you injured several of our employees, and you will be paying their medical expenses and compensation," Yang Qi stated flatly.

WHOOSH!

Without warning, a katana sliced through the air toward Yang Qi, aiming to sever his arm.

Yang Qi sneered. Since they’re willing to attack without a word of warning, they can’t blame me for what comes next.

He suddenly shoved Yagyu Muju in front of him, using him as a shield.

The blade came down, severing Yagyu Muju’s arm.

Blood gushed out like a fountain.

"AHHH—!" Yagyu Muju screamed in agony.

Only then did everyone realize who the hostage was.

"Young Master!"

"It’s Young Master Muju!"

The samurai descended into a panic, and Yagyu Senyo’s face turned ashen. Although Yagyu Muju was a disappointment, lacking all of his father’s cunning and prowess, he was still his son. His only son. And now, one of his arms had just been chopped off.

He was on the verge of madness.

"Son! Son, what’s happened to you?" Yagyu Senyo screamed like a madman.

"You can’t blame me for this," Yang Qi said with a slight smile. "Your own man made the move. I just happened to use him as a shield."

"You bastard! You dare to harm my precious son! I’ll never let you go! I’ll make sure you don’t even have a corpse left, and I’ll make you suffer the greatest agony this world has to offer!" Yagyu Senyo roared, completely unhinged.

The samurai could feel his palpable fury. They trembled, especially the one who had just swung the katana; he was shaking uncontrollably.

SCHLICK!

Suddenly, Yagyu Senyo snatched the katana from his desk and thrust it through that samurai’s heart. "Anyone who dares to harm my son dies!"

The samurai’s expression was one of utter unwillingness as he collapsed with a thud. He couldn’t accept this! But what good would it do?

Yagyu Senyo didn’t even spare the body a glance. He fixed his gaze on Yang Qi and said coldly, "You don’t seem to be afraid at all."

"Heh, why should I be? Your little bit of infighting is quite amusing to watch. Besides, I’m not a fool like him who would just stand there and not even try to dodge," Yang Qi chuckled.

"It seems you truly have no fear of death." Yagyu Senyo frowned. This young man, despite witnessing my cruelty, still dares to speak like this. He must have some backing.

This gave him pause. He decided not to make a move, wanting to first discover the young man’s background.

"Are you really from the Qifei Group, here to take over the office building?" Yagyu Senyo asked.

"What else?" Yang Qi retorted.

"Since you’re here to claim the building, you should understand how our Yagyu Corporation operates. Forget the office building; we don’t even reliably pay wages. Anyone who comes asking for what’s ’theirs,’ we deal with them. We’ve already thrown several people from this building. Do you see me having any problems with that?" Yagyu Senyo said with disdain. "And you think you can challenge me? You actually fantasize about taking this building from me? I really don’t understand. Is there something wrong with you Dragon Country people? You know something is impossible, yet you insist on trying. How pathetic!"

"Your son told me you have good relationships with the Wei Family and the Martial Alliance, but so what? Today, if you don’t hand over this office building, your Yagyu Corporation will cease to exist," Yang Qi stated calmly.

CLATTER!

At his words, the samurai from the Martial Arts Arena next door rushed out, dozens of them surrounding Yang Qi, each holding a gleaming katana.
