My Girlfriend Is So Beautiful, But She's an Assassin!
Chapter 103: The True Revelation Of A Celebrity
With wide eyes, Gabrela stared at her phone screen as if she were seeing something impossible.
"The wallpaper, the home screen, and the apps—there’s no mistaking it, it’s really my phone!" Gabrela thought to herself.
"B-but that’s i-impossible...!" Gabrela muttered softly.
Her bound body began to tremble violently.
"Why?" Lavendina asked.
"I-IMPOSSIBLE! NO ONE KNOWS THE PATTERN BUT ME!" Gabrela shouted.
Lavendina smiled.
"That’s true, but I’ve bypassed your phone using the OTG I plugged into it," Lavendina replied.
"It works simply: when I press the red button, the device turns on the phone. Then I go to emergency calls and enter a pre-programmed number. That number activates a program containing viruses that can break into the phone’s security system," Lavendina continued.
"I-It’s impossible for my phone to be using the latest Aq-Shield. Emergency call bypass is only available on older Android devices—" Gabrela said confidently.
A terrifying thought crossed Gabrela’s mind. Her eyes widened.
"Don’t tell me..."
Lavendina smiled slightly.
"Looks like you’ve already figured it out... Very well, I’ll give you a brief explanation" Lavendina said.
"Ukhm!... This isn’t actually an old exploit—It’s a new generation, using a chip called the Nexus Core CG-6. This chip can run millions of code variants in real time. As soon as the emergency call is activated, the chip immediately injects super-powerful viruses that attack the system core through a vulnerability in the emergency protocol. Because these viruses are programmed to look for lockscreen data, they attack the lockscreen data," Lavendina said.
"And—Boom! Within two minutes, the viruses reset all security flags, even though the device was using the latest AI Shield. This virus is called a Barbarian Attack because it brutally attacks the security system" Lavendina continued.
Gabrela was even more shocked.
"Kehk! What the hell is that!? As far as I know, that chip can only be made by the government, and it’s definitely made in secret. It’s impossible for ordinary people to get it—where did you get it, Ms. Lavendina?!" Gabrela asked angrily.
"I got it from another partner of mine—she made it," Lavendina replied.
"Partner? Your partner is from the government?" Gabrela asked.
"No, she’s just an ordinary citizen, and she’s just a maid," Lavendina replied.
"Maid?... It’s impossible for a maid to create a device with such a complex algorithm," Gabrela said with a doubtful expression.
"Moreover, the chip was only released in Indonesia a year ago," she continued.
Lavendina chuckled.
"Fufufu~... Nothing is impossible—if humans are willing to learn, anything can be created. That’s why some countries have built civilizations on Mars, and there are cities nicknamed Dragon City and Rainbow Neon City," Lavendina replied proudly.
"She stole Tia’s device again..." Lia thought to herself.
Anxiety began to spread throughout Gabriela’s body. Her muscles tensed and her heart began to beat rapidly. The cold air bit her skin, but strangely enough, sweat had already beaded on her forehead—cold and sticky.
"U-um, M-Ms. Lavendina... L-let’s make peace... How about it?" Gabrela asked with an awkward smile.
Lavendina placed the tip of her left index finger to the center of her lips.
"Hmm... What should I do..." Lavendina said.
"Come on, please say yes!" Gabrela said to herself with a tense expression.
Lia simply watched what Lavendina was about to do. Lavendina glanced at Lia. She couldn’t see the aura she was giving off, but she could sense it.
"I-I don’t know why I feel like she’s staring at me with a sharp gaze behind that mask..." Lavendina said to herself with an awkward expression.
Lavendina felt intimidated, and finally let out a resigned sigh.
"Sigh..."
"W-Will you accept it?" Gabrela asked with an excited expression.
"No!" Lavendina replied with a blank expression.
Gabrela immediately became gloomy. Lavendina looked at Lia.
"I actually wanted to play with her for a bit..." Lavendina thought to herself with a disappointed expression.
Lavendina looked at Gabrela.
"I’m sorry, but I can’t make peace with you," Lavendina said.
"I-I’LL GIVE YOU A 50 MILLION DOWN PAYMENT IF WE MAKE PEACE!" Gabrela shouted with a panicked expression.
"Wow~, interesting... But I’m sorry, I still can’t," Lavendina said.
"W-why?" Gabrela asked anxiously.
"The money you are offering is not comparable to what I have earned so far" Lavendina replied.
Gabrela glanced at Lia.
"Tch! Damn it! That person must have given her something luxurious!" Gabrela thought to herself with an angry expression.
"Never mind, the point is, you’re just going to be our hostage here, so just watch what we do~" Lavendina said with a smile.
Lavendina returned her attention to Gabrela’s phone.
"Let’s see... your social media~" Lavendina said.
Gavendina swallowed, her expression tense again. Lavendina began scrolling through Gabrela’s phone screen with her left index finger, her eyes moving quickly, reading every conversation and transaction history stored on it.
"M-Ms. Lavendina, you’re a teacher, you should know what you’re doing is very disrespectful, right?" Gabrela asked, panicked.
"It’s precisely because I’m a teacher that I have to discipline my naughty students" Lavendina said, her gaze remaining focused on the phone screen.
Lavendina found the account of the person who transacted with Gabrela.
"Ah... here it is~" Lavendina said.
"DID YOU FIND SOMETHING?" Lia asked.
"Of course, I found some of her lies~" Lavendina said.
"HOHO, LET’S LISTEN," Lia said.
"Gabrela... I want to ask, when you met that person, were you alone or did someone accompany you?" Lavendina asked.
Feeling completely cornered, Gabrela finally gave in.
"AHH!!! FINE, FINE, I’LL TELL YOU THE TRUTH AND THERE’S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HIDE ANYMORE!!!" Gabrela shouted in resignation.
"Hehehe, great~" Lavendina said with a chuckle.
"But I need you to turn off my phone first, then please don’t share this with anyone else, and please don’t expel me from school. I still want to study at this school," Gabrela said.
"Okay, relax, I’ll keep this a secret" Lavendina said, her right eye closed and her right index finger placed over her lips.
"Thank you..." Gabrela said, relieved.
"To be honest, I was betrayed by my manager and my ex-boyfriend," Gabrela continued.
"Ara~! Really?" Lavendina asked with a surprised expression, her right hand placed over her lips.
Gabrela nodded.
"You must have seen my last chat with the person who gave me the endorsement, right?" Gabrela asked.
"Yes," Lavendina replied.
"At first, I thought only my manager met with that person, because my manager gave me the pills and a 5 million advance when she was alone" Gabrela said.
"BUT YOU’LL STILL RECEIVE 10 MILLION, RIGHT?" Lia asked.
"Yes—" Gabrela replied.
"But unfortunately, you were tricked by your manager," Lavendina interrupted.
"SERIOUSLY?" Lia asked.
"Y-yes..." Gabrela answered quietly.
"Her fate was truly unfortunate, so—" Lavendina said.
"W-WAIT, D-DON’T TELL!" Gabrela shouted.
Lavendina ignored Gabrela’s screams.
"The plot twist is that—her boyfriend started dating her manager" Lavendina said.
Gabrela lowered his head.
"Kehk!"
Gabrela’s feelings were now mixed—embarrassed and sad, her face even red, and tears slowly welled up in her eyes because Lavendina’s words reminded her of her past.
Lavendina and Lia could only stare at her with pity.
"WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?" Lia asked.
Gabrela didn’t want to tell her, but she was also hurt by her manager and ex-boyfriend, so she started to talk.
"D-During the transaction..." Gabrela replied.
Gabrela sniffed.
"M-My manager took my phone to do cash on delivery, then she gave me the pills. She said she would return my phone once all the pills were sold," Gabrela replied, still looking down.
"During a football match, my manager came to school to give me my phone, and I gave her the money I made from the sale," Gabrela continued.
"After that, I decided to sleep in my classroom. I woke up when I heard a noise outside, but before leaving, I checked my phone. I texted someone who had offered me an endorsement deal. I just said ’Thank you’,"
"But the reply surprised me. He replied, ’You’re welcome. I hope the 35 million rupiah will be useful for developing your career.’,"
"That surprised me, because I only had 10 million rupiah in my account, and the agreement also stated that I would only receive 10 million rupiah... Suspicious, I texted the person again and started asking questions,"
"And I concluded that the legal payment was indeed 10 million... b-but the manager used my name and said I only wanted 35 million because I had many famous acquaintances—and he accept,"
"But what was even more surprising was... my manager didn’t come alone—it turned out she was with a man, and the person described the man’s physical characteristics. I was speechless for a moment after learning about the man’s physical characteristics,"
*sniff*
"I-I texted my manager angrily—she read it but didn’t reply immediately. It turned out she blocked me soon after,"
*sniff*
"I-in anger, I left the classroom and intended to return to my apartment to look for my manager, but in the hallway, I saw a crowd of students gathered. When I arrived on the first floor, I saw Kazora already became berserk, and that’s when my anger disappeared and I became anxious again. I intended to run away, but Ms. Lavendina caught me, and that’s how it went."
"POOR YOU..." Lia said.
Gabrela began to cry at his stupidity.
"HUWAHHH!!! I’M SO STUPID!!!" Gabrela screamed, crying hysterically.
Lavendina and Lia were shocked by her sudden hysteria. Her shoulders shook violently. She kept shaking her head as if refusing to accept the truth.
"THAT GUY SAID I WAS THE ONLY ONE HE LIKED AND THE ONLY MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL!" Gabrela shouted, her voice almost breaking.
The tears continued to flow nonstop, her breathing quickened, and her words began to become slurred. Lia and Lavendina could only stare with pitying expressions.
