My Disciples Grind, I Get 100x Their Progress
Chapter 119: Kina’s Life 2
Kina’s position after entering the elite academy wasn’t just about becoming popular because of her beauty. But, it also happened because she was extremely talented.
“Oh… S-sorry, are you okay?”
At the Elite Academy, students were more frequently trained through direct practice. Like today, a one-on-one duel was held to improve the students’ reflexes and combat experience.
It was very different from Central, so Kina could always feel just how good the elite academy was at helping their students develop.
In Kina’s case, here, she wasn’t just talented. But, she was so extraordinary that even geniuses at the elite academy acknowledged how fast Kina learned.
Like, she could always understand what the Professors taught very quickly.
Kina only needed to watch them do it once, and not long after, Kina would be able to imitate it faster than any other student in that academy.
“A-ah… it’s fine… this is an honor for me.”
Seeing the male student, lying there helplessly, raise his hand and give a thumbs up to show he was okay, made Kina smile somewhat awkwardly.
Apparently, even in one-on-one fights like this, even when students understood they might get thoroughly beaten facing Kina, it still wasn’t enough to make them retreat or feel afraid.
They were willing to take that risk just to be alone with Kina on the battlefield.
Wasn’t their dedication quite remarkable?
But, unfortunately, even if they did it for their entire lives, the beautiful girl they always chased would surely never soften or fall in love with them.
Their love story had essentially ended before it even began, they just didn’t realize it.
“Good work, Kina. You always exceed my expectations.”
Then, there was also a young Professor who clapped, feeling proud of how fast Kina was developing, while on the other hand…
“However, I still sometimes see that you still have some mistakes in certain areas. That’s why, I intend to teach you personally, would you like to come to the field this afternoon?”
That was a young Professor, full of achievements. He was very handsome, even having a number of fans in Central and the Slums.
But, even that man couldn’t hold himself back when seeing Kina, openly trying to gain the girl’s attention.
“Ah… sorry Professor, but today, I need to study the skill book I just received.”
“Oh? What a shame. Hmm… how about that skill book? I could help you if you—”
“Sorry, but Lord Lurker will be visiting too.”
“LL-l-Lord Lurker!?”
Kina smiled sweetly, holding back all the awkwardness and discomfort she felt.
Indeed, she had an extraordinary adaptive ability. After days of experiencing similar things like this, she’d started developing solutions to avoid them.
That’s how Kina spent her days at the elite academy, still full of students curious about her.
Kina only hoped this attention would ease soon as time passed.
And, that afternoon, Kina wasn’t lying about the skill book. She lied about Lurker, but not the other part.
“Student Kina, this is the book you wanted. I’ve recorded it. So, study it well, since you come from the Mivelo family, this should definitely be a great choice.”
“Thank you, Professor~”
Kina felt very happy receiving the next skill book.
There was also a skill book she’d received from her Master. But, based on some guidance she’d received, Kina decided to study that skill book once her rank increased higher.
At this point, she needed to study a skill she could only control with her current rank.
‘Eh, actually not really though. This might not be a skill I can control easily. But, since I’ll soon be going directly into the field, this is clearly an investment for a better future.’
Kina lifted that skill book for a moment.
It was a D-Grade skill book. Just like Frost Edge. The difference was, Frost Edge consumed Mana slowly but surely.
Meanwhile, this one would consume Mana in large amounts, to the point that the current Kina might immediately be drained after using it.
Even so, once Kina rose to Rank-E and consumed the Serum given by her Master, Kina would soon have more Mana and be able to control this skill.
After hesitating for a moment, Kina walked down the empty corridor, glancing around and seeing no students passing by.
She left the academy building and arrived at the front garden. After that, Kina pulled out the phone she’d recently bought, raising it high above her.
‘Hmm… I think this’ll do.’
With a simple pose, her fingers forming a V sign along with the skill book tucked under her arm, Kina smiled sweetly and winked one eye.
Then, she took a photo of herself.
A simple click sound was heard, and Kina quickly lowered her phone, somewhat embarrassed, glancing around.
“Ahem…, this isn’t bad.”
She couldn’t let anyone see her taking a photo of herself. If they did, Kina couldn’t imagine what might happen.
Regardless, after getting a decent result in one try, Kina immediately sent that photo to her Master.
“…Is this okay maybe? Or maybe too much?”
She thought about the caption for a few seconds, pursing her lips, her cheeks feeling hot.
Then, somewhat hesitantly, Kina pressed the send button.
The message was now sent, making Kina feel her heart pounding very fast.
Her face flushed red, then she turned off her phone, glanced around, and finally jogged off. She fled, anywhere really, just to hide her embarrassment.
—Master! How are you? I’ve gotten my next skill book and…! I love you so much hehe~
How could she not feel embarrassed by that shameless caption?
She must have gone crazy.
But, what could she do? That was Kina’s honest feeling even though she hoped for something more, like becoming a mistress.
That was clearly not something good, it was very bad. However, Kina couldn’t hold herself back on that one.
‘F-forget it!’
Her face was already bright red as she ran with her head lowered.

“…..”
Julian blinked upon receiving the message Kina sent. Fine, he was indeed surprised, but the talent he possessed only made his face stay flat like that, making Julian just look indifferent to what he saw.
He didn’t know what made Kina so confident and suddenly say something like that.
That made Julian confused for a moment, confused about how he should respond to it.
But after a few seconds of thinking, Julian reached the conclusion that, at least for now, he should choose to pretend not to know.
“Of course, that’s not something I can do forever. In fact, that might only be a solution for the near future.”
Considering Kina’s own personality, Julian could imagine that Kina in the future might become far bolder than she was now.
At that point, Julian wouldn’t be able to dodge or pretend not to know. But, at least for now, Julian could pretend and simply regard that last sentence as something not in the romantic realm.
As for that future though…
“Well, let’s just leave it to my future self to handle.”
Who knew, maybe Julian would even find the solution on his own.
Especially since the current situation didn’t allow Julian to think too much about romantic relationships, especially considering Julian had an uncomfortable feeling toward being close with a woman.
At least, for now, Julian just needed to focus on what he needed to do.
Like Kina finally getting another skill book, that’s what Julian needed to think about and look forward to, to turn his messy mood into something better and warmer.
With a thin smile on his face, Julian gave a thumbs-up reaction to the selfie. Then, Julian hesitated for a moment and finally typed a message and sent it without hesitation.
—Good work.
—I heard you’ll also be heading directly into the battlefield soon, right? Could I know when?
After sending those two messages in a row, Julian received a reply faster than he expected.
As though, Kina had been monitoring it since earlier and waiting for his answer.
—Yes Master, I think it’ll start in six more days.
—Six days? Alright.
Julian noted that time in his mind.
Because Julian had already decided to become a supervisor for the students at Canelo Academy during their first battle in invaded territory.
Julian intended to do the same at the Elite Academy. Their defenses might be strong, but Julian felt he didn’t want to take any risks and chose to participate directly, just to make sure Kina stayed safe.
“Hm… at that time, I think I should bring Ilunia along too.”
Julian didn’t doubt the Authority he currently held. Even though he himself was confused about how he suddenly arrived at his current position, there was no doubt he had enough Authority to make a somewhat shameless decision.
And, even if Julian did that, almost no one would probably question it.
After thinking that through, Julian blinked for a moment.
“Well, that’s a good idea.”
What could be better than the unique authority he currently holds with his two disciples?
