Chapter 885: Earth Immortal Sect

Chapter 885: Earth Immortal Sect

In mid-air, the Spider Queen managed to regain its balance, and upon landing, it began crawling across the wall, keeping its eyes locked on Yuan as it growled in fury.

“Quite the feisty one, aren’t you?” Yuan chuckled softly before kicking the ground with full force and launching himself forward.

Bang! His punch landed directly on the Spider Queen’s back, slamming its body against the wall with such force that the thick armor protecting its body cracked apart.

The moment the armor cracked, the Spider Queen became startled and began flailing its massive legs frantically, attacking Yuan from all directions.

However, Yuan deflected every attack with ease using only his bare hands. His body was strong enough to withstand the Spider Queen’s razor-sharp legs.

’Damn! As expected of a Spirit Grandmaster-level monster… it’s incredibly powerful and dangerous!’ Yuan thought as he continued defending against the attacks.

’No. I have to finish this quickly. Soon it will get dark outside, and we haven’t even found any clues about this place or whether there’s a hidden area,’ Yuan decided to stop holding back and get serious.

He kicked the spider as hard as he could, sending its massive body flying away.

A few seconds later, the spider slammed into the wall, the impact shaking the entire cave violently.

Many of the Spider Queen’s legs snapped from the collision, and green liquid began oozing from its grotesque mouth.

Suddenly, the Spider Queen sprayed a jet of green liquid toward Yuan as it struggled to stand again.

The attack was so sudden and unexpected that Yuan barely managed to dodge it in time.

A sharp sizzling sound echoed as the green liquid struck the ground where Yuan had been standing just moments ago, carving a deep hole into the stone.

“That was dangerous… I barely managed to escape…” Yuan muttered with a surprised expression as he stared at the hole created by the spider’s venom.

Without giving the spider another chance, Yuan summoned his sword out of thin air and gripped it firmly with both hands.

Suddenly, Yuan’s aura skyrocketed as he coated his sword with Sword Aura, his gaze locking firmly onto the Spider Queen.

“It’s time to end this…” Yuan muttered in a low voice, a wide grin slowly spreading across his face.

Nyx watched the scene with utter disbelief. She was completely shocked by the overwhelming power displayed by Yuan and his wives, including her own daughter, who was crushing the massive spiders with unbelievable ease.

’Just what in the world am I even witnessing?? Is this even real??’ Nyx cried inwardly, her thoughts filled with disbelief as her feet remained frozen in shock.

Slash! A sharp slashing sound resounded as Yuan swung his sword at the massive Spider Queen, and in the next instant, his figure appeared behind it.

’Incredible speed…’ Nyx thought with a dazed expression, completely shocked by Yuan’s terrifying speed.

The Spider Queen was split into two in the blink of an eye. Its hard protective armor was utterly useless against Yuan’s Sword Aura.

As soon as Yuan killed the Spider Queen, the remaining spiders became even more aggressive. However, Anna Grace and the others still killed them effortlessly.

Fang Xiaoyan and Xi Meili burned all the spiders with their flames, turning even their corpses into blackened charcoal under the overwhelming heat.

Within the next few minutes, Anna Grace and the others cleared all the spiders. Not a single one remained alive, as Xi Meili and Fang Xiaoyan’s flames reached even the cracks within the walls.

“Done. All the spiders are dead now,” Anna Grace said with a smile as she stored her sword back into her spatial ring.

“I didn’t even break a sweat fighting them… it was kind of fun,” Emma added with a cheerful smile.

“It was indeed,” Rose nodded in agreement.

“Fang Xiaoyan, can I trouble you with burning all the spider webs? Clean everything in this room with your flames. We might find some clues here, as this cave doesn’t look ordinary at all,” Yuan said as he walked over to her.

“Give me a moment,” Fang Xiaoyan nodded before immediately unleashing her flames to burn everything within the room and clear the area.

Soon, the entire chamber was engulfed in a sea of flames, spreading rapidly in all directions.

Yuan created a small protective barrier around them using his Qi to shield Nyx from the intense heat. Although it protected her, she could still feel the warmth brushing against her skin.

In the blink of an eye, all the spider webs and cocoons on the ceiling were reduced to ashes. Nothing remained, as everything was completely purified by Fang Xiaoyan’s flames.

Once everything had burned away and the flames disappeared, the temperature of the chamber returned to normal, though a lingering warmth remained in the air.

A magnificent gate appeared before them at the far end of the chamber, previously hidden beneath the dense spider webs.

A signboard hung above the gate, emitting a powerful aura. Though it looked aged and dirty, the words were still clearly visible, and the bold golden letters carried a presence like that of a dragon.

’Earth Immortal Sect’ was written on the massive signboard in bold golden letters, the intent behind the words powerful enough to disrupt a person’s mind.

“Finally, what we’ve been searching for…” Yuan smiled as he gazed at the massive gate.

“I never thought something like this would be hidden deep inside a cave. It’s truly surprising,” Leah said with a look of astonishment on her face.

“It seems this place once belonged to the Earth Immortal Sect… however, I have no idea what kind of sect it was,” Yuan replied with a faint smile before walking toward the gate.

His wives followed closely behind him and stopped before the massive gate.

“There is a powerful array placed on the door… let me handle it,” Xi Meili said before placing her hand on the gate and channeling her Qi into it.

Immediately, countless symbols appeared, and the gate suddenly glowed with a golden light as the entire area began to shake violently.

Within a few seconds, the gate opened wide. However, Yuan and his wives saw nothing but darkness inside, with no signs of what lay beyond.

“Do you think it’s safe to enter inside?” Nyx asked Yuan with a deeply concerned expression, swallowing nervously as she stared into the darkness beyond the gate.

“We can only find out by stepping inside,” Yuan replied calmly.

“I see…” Nyx sighed softly in resignation, feeling hesitant to step into such an unfamiliar place.

“Shall we head inside and see what we can find?” Anna Grace asked with a gentle smile as she grabbed his hand, ready to enter together with him.

The moment they stepped through the gate, Yuan and his wives’ vision blurred as a blinding light flashed before their eyes.

Before they could react, they found themselves standing in a completely different place, surrounded by towering mountains and countless buildings.

However, the area looked completely deserted, with no one in sight. The buildings were heavily damaged, and thick cobwebs covered their structures.

A thick layer of dust coated the ground, as if no one had set foot in this place for tens of thousands of years. However, this appeared to be only the outer area, as many more buildings and locations could be seen far in the distance.

“This place is completely abandoned… I hope we can find something here. But judging by its size, searching this place will take us a very long time,” Anna Grace muttered as she surveyed the surroundings.

After all, this was a sect from tens of thousands of years ago. It was massive—so vast that it resembled an entire city.

There was everything here, including living quarters for sect members and disciples, numerous pavilions, and much more.

There were also trial towers, where disciples would train by undergoing various trials. Additionally, there were cultivation caves, where disciples would enter closed-door cultivation to increase their cultivation at a faster pace.

“This Earth Immortal Sect must have been extremely powerful in its glory days… I wonder what kind of life the disciples used to live here,” Yuan muttered as he gazed at the many disciples’ quarters in the distance.

’I wonder if it was anything like the schools from my past life…’ Yuan thought with a dazed expression as memories of happier moments from his past life surfaced.

They soon arrived at the center of the sect, where a massive stone tablet stood prominently, recording the names of talented disciples who had once brought great honor to the sect through their strength and influence.

After looking around the sect’s grounds for a couple of hours, Yuan and his wives finally arrived at the main building of the sect, the place where the sect leader once resided.

It was the headquarters of the sect—the most heavily guarded location in the entire sect, filled with high-level security measures and deadly traps. This place was strictly off-limits even to inner court disciples.

Only a select few individuals were allowed to enter this place, usually those with special permission. Otherwise, unless a disciple possessed truly heaven-defying talent, this place was completely inaccessible to them.

However, now the place was utterly empty, with thick dust covering the floor. It felt like a ghostly remnant of the past, nothing more than a shadow of what it once was.

Most of the arrays had already lost the energy required to continue functioning or had been destroyed over time, yet Yuan and his wives still needed to remain extremely cautious, as hidden traps could still exist within the building.

“Everyone, be extra careful when we enter. We don’t know what kind of surprise might be waiting for us inside,” Yuan said to his wives with a serious expression before pushing the door open.

One by one, they entered the building, their steps slow and deliberate as they carefully scanned the surroundings with their Divine Sense, searching for any concealed traps.

Fortunately, it was safe to enter, as no traps were triggered when they stepped inside. However, they discovered many valuable items within the building, including several rare techniques.

Yet, since there was no one left to maintain the place and the arrays had been useless for a very long time, thick dust had settled over the techniques and other objects.

These techniques were only ordinary ones, as no sect would ever leave its most valuable techniques and treasures openly displayed in such a place.

Yuan and his wives ignored the techniques and continued searching the area, hoping to find something truly useful or any clue that could lead Yuan to a place from which he could travel back to Earth.

After searching for nearly an hour, Aisha discovered a detailed map of the entire sect, with all its locations clearly marked.

“Yuan, look at this map—this is very useful!” Aisha said excitedly as she rushed over to him the moment she found it.
