My Billionaire Cashback System! I Get Paid for Investing in Beauties

Chapter 99: Baby, Who Gives A Fuck About Classes?

  • Next Chapter

The blaring sound pulled Adrian out of sleep.

His eyes opened to Rose first.

Her red hair was still messy from the night before, strands scattered across the pillow and forehead. Even like this, she somehow still looked pretty. Peaceful, too, like the alarm wasn’t even worth disturbing her sleep.

Then the blaring started again.

Adrian blinked.

Ah, fuck.

His eyes shifted toward the floor.

Rose’s phone.

"Fuck. That shit is too loud."

He carefully shifted himself, slowly getting out from under her without waking her.

The alarm kept ringing.

Adrian walked over, picked up Rose’s phone, and swiped across the screen, finally silencing it and returning to the silence.

He let out a slow sigh before looking at the time.

6:49.

Who the hell sets an alarm for six a.m.

Adrian looked back at Rose. She hadn’t moved.

Probably not someone who’s going to wake up to it.

He gently tossed her phone onto the cupboard, making sure it landed safely, before turning back toward the bed.

He placed one knee on the mattress.

Then stopped.

Rose was still naked, sleeping peacefully.

Adrian’s eyes lingered on her for a moment. There was something strangely calming about seeing her like this after everything they’d talked about last night.

Then he noticed something else.

His own phone.

She was lying partially on it.

He reached over and carefully tried to pull it free. Rose’s belly was resting against part of it, but the screen was still visible.

And something on the display caught his attention.

A notification.

Billionaire Cashback System.

Adrian paused.

This shit never rest. He managed to get it off her and tapped the notification.

The screen loaded almost immediately.

His eyes went straight to the title.

Congratulations.

Initialization process has been completed.

Upgrade potential of host has been calculated.

Adrian stared.

Then he read it again. And again.

His eyes widened.

No fucking way.

The last time he’d checked, the progress had been at 87%. He’d completely forgotten about it. Apparently, it hadn’t forgotten about him.

Curiosity immediately took over.

He tapped the notification.

A faint vibration ran through the phone as a new System screen appeared.

[Upgrade Evaluation Complete.]

[Host performance has been evaluated.]

[Evaluation Criteria:]

[1. Investment Intuition.]

[Host has demonstrated an ability to identify profitable opportunities and make effective money-making decisions despite incomplete information.]

[2. Crisis Adaptation.]

[Host has demonstrated the ability to respond to unexpected situations without excessive overreaction.]

[The world is unpredictable. The ability to adapt accordingly is essential.]

[3. Target Compatibility.]

[Host has demonstrated the ability to establish meaningful connections with registered targets, as well as willingness to maintain multiple romantic relationships while providing equal emotional value to his partners.]

Adrian stared at that one for several seconds.

He wasn’t sure whether he was supposed to be pleased or offended.

The System really just complimented me for being good at sex and wanting to love multiple women.

He wasn’t even sure what bothered him more.

The fact that the System had said it...

Or the fact that it wasn’t entirely wrong.

Adrian scrolled down.

⸻

[Evaluation complete.]

[Billionaire Cashback System calibration has been completed.]

[New objective framework is now available.]

[To maximize Player potential, the System will now assist Player in establishing and pursuing a personal goal.]

Adrian’s eyes narrowed.

A personal goal?

He scrolled again.

Then something else caught his attention.

[Reward Received.]

His finger stopped.

He read the next line.

[$100,000 has been awarded to Player.]

Adrian froze. His eyes widened.

A hundred grand? For a second, he almost forgot how to stand.

He stared at the number.

Then read it again.

$100,000.

"Fuck..."

The word barely left his mouth before another text caught his eye.

[Billionaire Cashback calibration has been completed.]

[Please select a personal goal and work toward it.]

[The System has fulfilled its initial function of providing financial assistance.]

[Future development will depend upon Player’s own ambitions, decisions, and actions.]

[Select Goal.]

Adrian stared at the final prompt.

"Goal?"

He squinted slightly.

"What exactly is that?"

The System didn’t answer.

It simply left the blinking [Select Goal] button on the screen.

Adrian leaned back slightly.

A goal.

He’d never really thought about it.

At first, he’d told himself that all of this was about the money.

The System gave him money.

He spent it.

He invested it.

He chased opportunities.

That was supposed to be enough.

But now that he was actually being asked what he wanted to accomplish...

He didn’t have an answer.

Adrian stared at the blinking icon.

What do I actually want?

His finger moved toward the screen.

Then he heard Rose behind him.

"Adrian?"

He straightened almost immediately.

Only then did he remember that he was still nude.

Somehow, he wasn’t as bothered by it as he probably should have been.

He turned.

Rose was awake now, her face slightly red as she looked at him.

"Hey, babe."

Adrian quickly lowered the phone slightly and moved back toward the bed.

Rose adjusted herself, raising one hand to rub at her eyes.

"What are you doing?"

She blinked sleepily.

"What?"

"I was just, um..."

Adrian paused. Checking the System probably isn’t the best answer.

"I was just..." He thought for a second. "Checking TikTok."

Rose stared at him.

"TikTok?... Mmm."

She looked around the room, almost as though she was searching for something.

Then she looked back at him.

"What time is it?"

"Um... a few minutes to seven."

Her expression immediately changed.

She grabbed at the blanket around her and pulled them up slightly, trying to cover her chest and her nipples.

"I thought I set an alarm."

"You did."

Adrian nodded toward the phone.

"It hasn’t even been that long since it went off. What’s wrong?"

Rose looked at him and sighed. "I have some pretty important classes to get to."

Adrian opened his mouth but she reached up and placed a hand against his cheek.

"Good morning, baby."

"Good morning."

Rose pulled him closer. Adrian didn’t dare to hold back as she locked lips with him.

The kiss was brief but warm.

When they separated, Rose kept her eyes on his lips for a moment.

"... fuck. I always hate this part."

"What part?"

She looked toward her clothes.

"Dressing up to leave."

"We could just stay."

Adrian shrugged.

"I mean, fuck classes and all."

Rose gave him a look.

"One, if I do that, then this course is basically a carryover."

Adrian laughed.

"That wouldn’t be such a bad thing." He looked at her. "I mean, you’re about to be an artist worth two hundred grand."

Rose paused.

Then smiled.

"When you put it like that, it’s kind of hard to argue."

"But what about Jenna?"

Adrian paused.

"We were supposed to meet today."

"Fuck. I almost forgot."

Rose laughed softly.

"Almost wish I did."

Adrian leaned on her for a moment, mostly because it just felt right before she adjusted a bit.

"Babe."

Adrian looked at her as she held out her hand.

"Pass me my phone."

Adrian hesitated for a moment before he responded.

"Um, sure."

He picked up her phone and handed it over.

Rose moved and as she collected it, one of her hands shifted away from the blanket.

The blanket slipped exposing her sexy breast which almost looked prettier than before every time he saw them.

Adrian’s eyes immediately caught it.

Pink breast. Perky, but he did his best to act as casual as he could.

Rose apparently didn’t notice. She typed something.

Then looked up again.

"Yes."

"Yes? What’s got you riled up?"

"My 10 a.m. class got canceled."

Adrian’s eyebrows lifted.

"So you’re free from ten?"

"Exactly."

She looked at him.

"Text Jenna. Tell her we’ll meet around ten."

"All right."

"And can you pick us up around then?"

Adrian thought about it.

"I don’t have classes today, so I’ll probably be free."

"That’s perfect."

Rose smiled.

"Then I’ll try to squeeze in two hours of Jenna’s choreography."

She looked at the time again.

"If we start at eleven, we should be done by one."

Adrian looked at her.

"You’re being very selective about the time."

"Ofcourse I am. I want to get through the day pretty quickly so I can spend some time with you."

Her voice dropped into a teasing tone.

Adrian smiled.

"Sounds like you have something for me that I’m going to like."

Rose ran her hand slowly across his chest.

"What do you think?"

Adrian didn’t answer. Rose leaned in and kissed him.

When she pulled back, she glanced at the time.

"But till then... I still need to get going."

"C’mon. Don’t be in such a rush?"

Adrian smiled.

"I’m already late. Your class is at 7:30."

Rose shook her head.

"I only need a few minutes."

Adrian laughed.

"Then let me motivate you."

Rose smiled. The next kiss lasted longer. She pushed closer, running her hand against his arms as she kissed harder again.

Then again.

He leaned back slightly, pulling out of the kiss momentarily and looked into her eyes. Rose stared back at him.

"Five minutes," Adrian said.

Rose smiled.

"Five minutes?"

He didn’t answer. He guided her to lay on her back before he slipped lower.

He leaned lower, his tongue slipping out just a bit as he trailed her body until he arrived at her folds.

The moment he did, she immediately exclaimed, her breathing changing.

But he didn’t stop.
