Chapter 641: Chapter 382: The Era of the Great Counteroffensive Begins (Part 2)
It was a bit like renovating a house. First, you had to gut the unwanted parts, then handle the overall layout, design, and planning.
Once the blueprints were finalized, work began on the shipboard mobile supercomputing center.
This time, due to the starship’s immense size, Jiang Cai’Er designed a total of eight shipboard quantum computer matrices. Each matrix consisted of twenty thousand quantum computers, for a total of one hundred and sixty thousand units distributed across eight different locations within the hull.
Luckily, their stockpile was large enough. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have been able to procure so many quantum computers on such short notice.
Soon after, construction also began on the life support systems, the shipboard ecological farm (which served as the ship’s oxygen-producing lungs), and various other functional compartments.
Millions of robots, robotic arms, and robotic spiders moved in and out, while tens of thousands of engineers and workers were on-site daily. An army of several hundred thousand soldiers stood guard nearby.
Because this was the core heartland of Country C, it was nearly impossible for Extraordinary Beings from other nations to infiltrate. Farther out, over ten Exotic Beast Armies, each led by a Saint Tier Exotic Beast, were stationed. Security was not a concern.
Meanwhile, one of Jiang Cai’Er’s Digital Life Clones began to oversee the research and development of core components like the engines, weapon systems, defense systems, and sensor systems. Even with Jiang Cai’Er’s world-shocking Computing Power and the countless scientists and researchers from various fields under her command, it was estimated that this Divine King Level Stellar Mother Ship would not be operational for another three to five years.
Three to five years was already extremely efficient. Before the Apocalypse, some nations’ aircraft carriers took more than a decade to be commissioned.
Erin had children at home, so she was eager to return to France. After she went back, she briefly recounted some of the events from her trip, and everyone was naturally both excited and shocked.
"Daddy is so amazing!"
"The other aunties are amazing, too!"
Shen Wenqian blinked, finding it all incredible. ’Good heavens, to think that...’
’But times are different now, and my cousin’s status is different, too. I guess it’s understandable.’
’Especially in other countries, so many men have died in battle that there’s a surplus of women. It’s not uncommon for one man to have several wives. Since my cousin is the number one person on Earth, there probably wouldn’t be much negative backlash even if this got out.’
In truth, the happiest person of all was Shen Wenqian. She hadn’t been home in many years.
Her children were also eager to visit the distant Eastern Great Power. They had never traveled far from home, let alone left the country. So, Shen Wenqian immediately started packing, preparing to take the kids to City No. 03.
Erin, of course, wouldn’t spoil their excitement. She summoned a few of her trusted subordinates, made arrangements for the base, and then personally piloted a Magic Alchemy Ship to take Shen Wenqian and her children there.
Chiba Yuki and her daughters, however, did not immediately return to Mount Fuji. The three of them were already together, so there was no need to go back for anyone. They simply settled down in City No. 03.
They decorated their new home and bought all sorts of local specialties from City No. 03. It was the most prosperous and advanced city in the world, filled with high-end goods—or luxury items—that couldn’t be found anywhere else.
Back in Japan, Chiba Yuki and her daughters owned several Underground Cities and were wealthy enough to rival a nation. Their massive shopping spree in City No. 03 was incredibly lavish, attracting a great deal of attention.
Chiba Yuki was in her forties, but she looked to be only about twenty-seven or twenty-eight. When she walked with the Twin Gouyu, they didn’t look like a mother and her daughters, but more like a big sister with her two little sisters.
While they were out shopping, some men who didn’t know their own limits would try to hit on them. The three of them naturally paid them no mind, easily getting rid of them with their Divine Tier abilities.
What a joke. They were three Divine Tier beings; why would they ever be interested in ordinary men? Besides, their very foundation was tied to Li Xiang. Their loyalty to him was beyond question.
Unfortunately, Li Xiang still hadn’t returned. After about ten days of fun, they grew bored. With too many matters awaiting their attention back in Japan, the three of them said their goodbyes to Jiang Cai’Er and left City No. 03.
Yao Yao, Zhao Xueqing, and Lei Xiaohui each had their own careers to manage. They didn’t stay in City No. 03 for long before returning to Los Santos, Guanghan City, and Jade Rabbit City, respectively. Every day, aside from their Cultivation, they were swamped with work.
Luo Feifei spent a few days with her mother in City No. 03, then went to the Earth Core to check on Li Xiang, who was in seclusion.
But Li Xiang was at a critical juncture, so she didn’t dare disturb him for long. Figuring that he wouldn’t be emerging from his seclusion anytime soon, she returned to Ceres, then set foot on the Ancient Starry Sky Road and went back to the Cyan Spirit Star Realm.
Now that the star road between the two was open, traveling between the Star Realms was quite easy for her. She had her Space-Time Anchor Superpower, the divine artifact Frost Splintering Sky Stab, and had even advanced to the Divine King Realm. She wanted to continue expanding the Star Map, scout out the enemy in the Black Mist Star Realm, and search the vast universe for a true new home for Earth Humans.
The Cyan Spirit Star Realm was nice, but at her current Realm, she knew that the planets there all had owners. They wouldn’t necessarily be able to accommodate Earthlings.
If she could find an unclaimed, habitable planet, it would at least serve as a fallback plan.
The Solar Element was still fraught with danger. Most importantly, she had heard from Li Xiang that several even more powerful Kings of Exotic Beasts resided within the Sun.
...
Near the Earth Core, within the Dark Cosmic Space, Li Xiang floated in the air. Before him was a miniaturized blue planet—the Heart of the Earth. Wisps of Spiritual Power flowed between him and the sphere, intermingling in a profound and mysterious way.
