Chapter 626: Chapter 376: "Celestial Calculation Center" and "Earth Calculation Center"... Jiang Cai’Er’s Unique Way of Ascending to the Divine Tier
In the unique Dark Cosmic Space near Earth’s core, Li Xiang summoned a million-ton Star Pill and launched it like a meteor. His techniques were now more refined; he had integrated the Armor-Piercing Technique into his throw. This created a Vibration at a unique frequency that greatly increased the Star Pill’s Piercing power, boosting its lethality by at least thirty percent. This was one of the benefits he had gained from Dual Cultivation with Luo Feifei.
Luo Feifei was in a higher Realm, so their Dual Cultivation greatly benefited him. The physical pleasure, by comparison, was just a minor perk.
Sure enough, the power of the Star Pill, now infused with the Armor-Piercing Technique, had increased immensely. It instantly sent one of the Divine King Realm Exotic Beasts tumbling head over heels.
Li Xiang’s confidence surged. With a powerful roar, he joined the fray!
The fiercer he fought, the more ferocious he became. Battling several Divine King Realm Exotic Beasts, he actually managed to hold his own!
Before, he’d had to flee after a single sneak attack. Now, he could stay and fight, only retreating at his leisure after hundreds of brutal rounds.
He had to admit, Dual Cultivation with Luo Feifei had caused his strength to grow by leaps and bounds.
Tier Thirty-Nine to Tier Forty-Eight constituted the Moon Wheel Divine King Realm. He was now at Tier Forty-Two.
...
His daughter, Li Xinyue, had been only five months old when the Apocalypse began. When she turned one and a half, Jiang Cai’Er opened an early education center just for her, recruiting local children of the same age to be her classmates. At the time, people flocked to sign up. Now, that single center had long since grown and expanded, with several hundred branches established across the nation’s 72 Hive Underground City clusters.
It was now autumn in the fourth year of the Apocalypse, and his daughter, Li Xinyue, was already in her second year of preschool.
The Li Family Village preschool’s Parents’ Day was held on a crisp, clear autumn day.
City No. 03 also simulated the four seasons, with the weather mimicking pre-Apocalypse conditions. This was achieved by controlling the light, temperature, and humidity. Rain and snow were virtual, as real precipitation would be inconvenient in an Underground City. However, there were designated places, like the underground farms, where people could go to experience such weather.
Early that morning, Li Xiang brought his daughter, Yueyue, to the preschool.
His daughter was very well-behaved. Even though she was treated like a little princess, she could already get out of bed, brush her teeth, and wash her face all by herself in the morning.
His two sons were even more independent and went to school by themselves, backpacks slung over their shoulders. Li Xinyue was usually dropped off and picked up by her maternal grandparents (the Jiang Jianguos), but today, Li Xiang was naturally taking full responsibility, letting them have the day off.
Li Family Village Preschool was also known as City No. 03’s top preschool. The children who attended all came from wealthy or powerful families. It couldn’t be helped. Under Li Xiang’s protection, the country’s population was steadily increasing, but good resources remained limited. They had no choice but to continue the same old system from before the Apocalypse.
If things were like in his past life, where not even one in a hundred survived, kids wouldn’t just miss out on preschool—they’d have no education at all.
Li Xiang recalled his past life and realized he had already kicked the bucket by this point in that timeline. And back then, Earth Humans hadn’t been far from extinction either.
’I almost forgot, I still have an enemy from my past life.’
The reason Li Xiang had died in his past life was that he had been on a mission and was backstabbed by a teammate at a critical moment.
They had encountered several powerful Exotic Beasts. As they were trying to escape, his teammate had struck him, leaving him behind to stall the creatures. What Li Xiang hadn’t known was that shortly after his own death, that same teammate had also been hunted down by the Exotic Beasts and met a grisly end.
In this life, Li Xiang had always been busy with one thing or another. He would sometimes remember that wretched teammate, but the thought would pass quickly. To the man he was now, that person was just an insignificant nobody.
’When I get back tonight, I’ll have Cai’Er look him up,’ Li Xiang decided. ’Find out where that guy is now. If he’s still alive, I’ll toss him into an Exotic Beast nest and let him fight to the death!’ Of course, Li Xiang intended to get his revenge; he just wasn’t in a rush anymore.
When he got to the classroom, many of the other parents were already there.
"Good morning, Teacher Xu!" his daughter, Li Xinyue, chirped, greeting a beautiful young teacher. Then she introduced her father. "Teacher Xu, this is my dad. You know, your idol!"
"Dad, this is Teacher Xu," Li Xinyue continued, turning to Li Xiang. "She’s super nice to me!"
"Li God! I finally get to meet you! It’s such an honor!" Teacher Xu was in her early twenties, young and beautiful. Normally, she was treated like a goddess herself and even had the nickname "The Flower of the Preschool." But seeing Li Xiang now, she couldn’t contain her excitement. Like a fan meeting a superstar, she rushed forward, wanting to shake his hand but simultaneously hesitating, looking completely flustered.
Standing to the side, Li Xinyue couldn’t help but cover her mouth to hide a giggle.
"Dad, Teacher, you two can talk. I’m going to go update my plant’s growth log." Li Xinyue shrugged like a little adult, then skipped over to her desk, her backpack bouncing along.
"Hello, Teacher Xu. You can just call me by my name," Li Xiang said, extending his hand. Teacher Xu snapped out of her daze and quickly clasped it with both of her own, seemingly unwilling to let go.
"Uh, I think I’ll just call you Teacher," Teacher Xu said. ’Calling him by his first name is definitely out,’ she thought. ’And "Leader" sounds too formal and distant. "Teacher" is the safest bet.’
Li Xiang was speechless.
’I call you Teacher, and you’re calling me Teacher?’
