Noah Drexler didn’t leave the house until nearly noon, and before he left, he repeatedly reminded Summer Shawcross not to let her hand wound get wet. It was only after she assured him several times that she would behave that he left.

Noah Drexler had just left not long ago when Summer Shawcross picked up a tablet, intending to search for a nearby gym, when Katherine Irving suddenly approached, looking at her with a tense expression.

"Madam, the boss said that before your wound heals, it’s best not to hold anything."

If the boss found out she hadn’t taken good care of Madam, both she and Sean Morgan would be done for.

Seeing Katherine Irving’s nervous face, Summer Shawcross couldn’t help but say with a touch of helplessness.

"Uh... I’m just looking up a gym."

She was just searching for something on the tablet; it’s not like she was lifting anything heavy.

"Gym? Isn’t there a gym on the third floor?" Upon hearing Summer’s words, Katherine Irving’s face showed a puzzled expression, not understanding why she’d go to the trouble of looking for an outside gym when there was one at home.

"There’s a gym at home, but no trainer, and I don’t know anything about that... it’s better to find someone to teach me," Summer Shawcross said, pursing her lips and starting to open the tablet.

"What’s wrong?" She looked up in surprise at Katherine Irving standing beside her.

"That won’t do. The gym is full of men. If the boss finds out we let you go to such a place, we’re done for!"

Gyms were known for having lots of men, and most trainers were male. If she went there, both she and Sean Morgan would be in danger.

Sean had just avoided being fired and hadn’t even got his position back yet; she didn’t want to make Sean upset again.

"Uh... then what do I do, hire a female trainer back?" Upon hearing Katherine’s words, Summer Shawcross’s face instantly showed a helpless expression.

Noah Drexler had promised her she could try detoxifying on her own once her fitness improved.

"A female trainer?" Hearing Summer’s suggestion, Katherine Irving was momentarily stunned, then suddenly her expression brightened.

"Madam, why don’t I teach you!"

"You?" Summer Shawcross looked at Katherine Irving in surprise.

Katherine nodded briskly and then boasted.

"Yes, I can teach you martial arts. It’s much more practical than just going to the gym. You can strengthen your body and learn self-defense!"

Hearing Katherine’s words, Summer Shawcross was taken aback. From childhood to adulthood, she had learned quite a few things.

But they were all more artistic, like instruments, singing, and also drawing.

She had never learned martial arts... now hearing Katherine say this, she was indeed a bit intrigued, but she couldn’t help but doubt herself.

"But, are you sure I can learn it?"

She was good at learning instruments, but martial arts sounded difficult.
