As soon as she entered the door, a pungent smell of chemicals hit her, causing her to frown.

Then, the bodyguard led them into a large laboratory. The smell inside was even stronger, with various instruments and many glass bottles displayed everywhere.

Summer Shawcross walked into the laboratory, glanced around, and then saw several people wearing white lab coats, bound together with ropes and gagged, lying on the ground.

All of them had foreign faces.

"What are you doing!" Summer was stunned, shocked by the scene before her.

They were only here to ask questions, not to do anything bad.

"Miss Summer, this way they stay honest!" A bodyguard said indifferently, taking the rag out of the mouth of one of the blond men.

"Who are you people, and what do you want to do to us?" The blond man looked at Summer and her group in fear, asking in very broken Chinese.

"Don’t be afraid, I just have some questions to ask you. I won’t harm you," Summer walked over and said softly to the man.

Upon hearing her words, the man showed a hint of puzzlement.

"Is Noah Drexler looking for you to develop the antidote for the Drexler Family’s virus?" Summer looked at the man and asked seriously.

Upon mentioning the antidote, the expression on the man’s face changed, showing a hint of wariness.

"I don’t know anything."

Seeing the man unwilling to speak, Summer bit her lip and spoke bluntly.

"I am his wife."

Hearing her words, the man showed a surprised expression, subconsciously sizing up Summer.

Meanwhile, Wendy Linden, hearing Summer’s words, also showed an extremely astonished expression.

They were actually husband and wife?

No wonder... at the auction, Noah Drexler was so generous to her!

"I just want to know about the antidote," Summer looked at the blond man and calmly asked.

But the man shook his head.

"Sorry, whether you’re Mrs. Drexler or not, I can’t tell you!"

He had promised Noah Drexler not to reveal anything about the antidote deal no matter what.

Seeing him refuse to speak, Summer’s face showed a bit of worry. Just as she was about to say something more, Wendy Linden suddenly nudged her from behind.

"Stop wasting time with them, let me handle this!" Wendy said, then turned to glance at the bodyguards.

The group instantly understood, suddenly reaching into their pockets for something!

This action scared the researchers out of their wits, thinking they were about to be silenced.

"Doctor, if you don’t talk, I will!" At this moment, a slightly younger brown-haired man spoke up in panic.

Seeing the man speak, the older blond man sighed but did not stop him.

"As long as you answer the questions honestly, this Mrs. Drexler promises not to do anything to you!" Wendy Linden said with a smile.

The man quickly nodded, "I’ll tell you everything I know!"

Seeing the man willing to cooperate, Summer hurriedly looked at him and asked.

"I want to know, what exactly is Noah Drexler having you do? Is it to develop the antidote?"

The brown-haired man nodded, "Yes, Mr. Drexler invited us to develop the method to make the antidote!"

Hearing this, Summer’s face showed a hint of confusion.
