My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively
Chapter 740: This Is Just Too Cruel!
Summer Shawcross reached out and accepted the small cage, her face full of joy as she looked at the little white furry cutie inside, munching on peanuts. Suddenly, her heart filled with delight, and her smile almost overflowed!
Perhaps after experiencing so many failures, the feeling of finally getting what she wished for made her particularly happy inside!
"The woman is really happy!" Just as Summer Shawcross reached out for the cage, the shopkeeper suddenly remarked with a smile.
After the shopkeeper’s words, Summer Shawcross took two seconds to suddenly react, looking at the shopkeeper with a puzzled expression.
She didn’t quite understand, did the shopkeeper see her happiness just because she picked a hamster she liked?
Could it be that she was too happy now, making others feel she was very blessed?
Thinking this, Summer then realized her smile was too exuberant, and quickly toned it down a bit.
"Thank you." She said to the shopkeeper with a smile.
At this time...
On the other side, Katherine Irving, who was holding a small hoop, was stunned there, her face full of shock... watching Summer Shawcross and Noah Drexler nearby.
What did she just see!
As soon as the lady threw the hoop, the shopkeeper standing behind her seized the moment and threw another hoop!
Then, they actually hit the target!
At that moment, she suddenly felt her heart tighten, never imagining that she’d be floored by a stoic, fierce-looking shopkeeper!
It was really overwhelming!
A few seconds later, she suddenly put down the small hoop and sighed, her face full of admiration...
"I lost..."
The moment the shopkeeper raised his hand, she had already lost, and she lost so miserably, so heart-wrenchingly!
If Sean Morgan could one day treat her like that, she truly couldn’t imagine how happy she would be!
Hearing Katherine’s words, Summer Shawcross finally shifted her attention from the little hamster, turning to look at Katherine with a puzzled expression.
"You hit so many, you won."
The competition was about who could hit more targets. Katherine hit a lot, and Sean Morgan could barely carry them all, so why was she saying she lost!
Just as Summer Shawcross was looking at Katherine confusedly, Katherine suddenly tossed all the hoops aside, then came up to Summer Shawcross, looking at her sincerely.
"What’s going on..." Summer Shawcross was baffled by her gaze!
"Ma’am, publish a book, or be my teacher!" Katherine Irving held onto Summer Shawcross’s hands eagerly pleading.
She really wanted to know, through what means did the lady manage to win over the seemingly tough shopkeeper, loving him so wholeheartedly, to this extent that it was almost enviable!
If she could learn that trick, she wouldn’t fear Sean Morgan refusing to marry her!
"Publish a book?" Summer Shawcross looked even more puzzled, completely not understanding what Katherine meant by those words.
She couldn’t comprehend what Katherine was trying to express.
"Teach me how to flirt..." Before Katherine could say ’men’, Sean Morgan suddenly dropped everything he was holding and, freeing a hand, covered her mouth to stop her from speaking further, hurriedly dragging her away before the shopkeeper could react in anger!
"Let’s go, let’s go, didn’t you want to have barbecue? Let’s hurry up and go!" Sean Morgan’s voice carried a hint of urgency, full of a strong desire to survive!
