Flynn Hughes waved his hand dismissively and said, "Forget it, forget it, I’m not a petty person."

It was the first time he’d seen a young girl act so fiercely!

Just as Flynn Hughes finished speaking, the office door suddenly opened from the inside.

Immediately, a somewhat overweight middle-aged man came out, his face full of dejection and embarrassment.

"Mr. Gao, you came out too..." Flynn Hughes gave him a sympathetic look.

"Sigh..." The man sighed and only then noticed Summer Shawcross in front of him. He was just about to curiously ask something when Summer suddenly turned around.

"I’m going to the pantry, Katherine, wait for me here."

Before Katherine could respond, Summer had already turned and left.

...

Soon, Summer returned with a freshly brewed cup of coffee from the pantry, standing before the office door again.

"Is this for the boss?" Katherine looked at the coffee in Summer’s hand and asked curiously.

Summer nodded and glanced at her.

"Help me push the door open."

There was no choice; Sean Morgan was too loyal to Noah Drexler. If she didn’t go see Noah, who knows how long Sean would hold out.

Hearing Summer’s words, Katherine quickly nodded, then extended her hand, knocked on the office door, gripped the handle, and pushed it open.

Inside the office.

The remaining executives stood there, each one visibly uneasy, with expressions of fear all over their faces...

Noah Drexler was leaning back in his chair, feeling quite irritated.

When he saw someone suddenly enter, he couldn’t help but furrow his brows, an expression of displeasure flashing across his handsome face.

"Get out..." He hadn’t even finished the word ’out’ when he saw a woman in a beige long dress with a knit cardigan and long hair walk in.

The reprimand that was just about to be spoken seemed to be suddenly blocked, stuck in his throat, freezing the expression on his handsome face.

As Summer walked in, Noah’s voice, tinged with anger, made her pause.

On her delicate, fair face was an expression full of innocence.

"Why are you here?" Noah asked in a low voice, his brow furrowed.

"It’s too boring at home, so I came to see you." Summer smiled and walked towards him.

As she passed by the executives, she couldn’t help but glance at the few who turned pale after being scolded by Noah.

"Did you just get angry again?" She placed the coffee on his desk and asked, feigning ignorance.

Noah glanced at the coffee in front of him and pursed his lips.

"No." His handsome face showed a hint of unease.

In the next second, he finally raised his eyes to glance at the people standing before him and suddenly pursed his lips to instruct.

"You can all leave now."

"Yes, boss." Upon hearing this, they nodded hastily, then turned around quickly and left the office as fast as they could.

Once they left, Noah’s expression changed.

The anger and seriousness on his face gradually faded, replaced by a layer of warmth in his dark eyes.

He raised his hand, placing it on Summer’s waist, and with a natural strength, he drew her over, seating her on his lap.
