My All Powerful System
Chapter 221: The Journey Back Home
By 8:00 AM on Monday morning, the grand lobby of the seven star luxury hotel in the Void Empire capital was buzzing with intense, restless energy.
The fifty chosen students of the Aether Blessed Academy, along with their elite professor escorts, were fully packed and gathered near the main glass entrance, ready to embark on their journey back home as the undisputed champions of the continent.
The lobby itself was a spectacle of Void architecture, towering black marble pillars veined with purple mana light, a ceiling of enchanted glass that showed a shifting morning sky, and a floor so polished it reflected everyone like a mirror.
The air smelled faintly of expensive mana perfume and fresh coffee from the hotel staff moving quickly between the students, offering last minute refreshments. Luggage drones hovered silently, carrying branded trunks.
At the center of the lobby, the atmosphere was thick with hushed whispers and blushing faces.
Lynx stood near the plush velvet couches, tall and relaxed in a tailored black coat that hugged his broad shoulders.
The coat was left open over a simple black shirt, revealing the clean lines of his physique.
Flanking him closely was his core circle, Ophelia, Lira, Ava, and Kira. Ophelia stood with her usual elegant composure, her silver hair tied back.
Lira was practically glued to his arm, her small frame leaning into him. Ava was smiling brightly, and Kira had her arms crossed, but her eyes never left Lynx.
However, every single eye in the lobby was pinned on the five women walking down the grand marble staircase to join him.
Aether Bleseed Academy Queen Eleanor, Layla, Iris, Rhea, and Nadia moved with a subtle, breathtaking grace. Each of them wore their own travel coats over their academy golden uniforms, but the uniforms themselves seemed to shine brighter today.
Their skin bore a soft, luminous golden glow, the unmistakable visual mark of Lynx’s Yin-Yang Harmony Method.
Their aura felt deeper and far more refined, as if their understanding of their respective affinities had surged overnight.
Eleanor’s purple eyes were calm but carried a new warmth. Layla’s steps were confident, her amber hair flowing.
Iris looked shy but radiant, Rhea’s ice blue gaze was serene, and Nadia tried to maintain her usual fierce expression, though her glow betrayed her.
Their postures brimmed with absolute confidence, and their eyes carried a deep, unwavering devotion whenever they looked toward Lynx.
"Look at them..." a third year male student muttered under his breath, shaking his head in sheer disbelief. He was standing near the fountain with his squad.
"Is it just me, or does Queen Eleanor’s entire squad look twice as strong as they did during the finals yesterday? I can feel the pressure from here."
"It’s not just their strength," his friend whispered back, wide eyed, adjusting his glasses. "Look at their skin! They literally look like goddesses descending from the heavens. What kind of training did Lynx do with them last night? I heard Queen Eleanor never trains with anyone, except her four friends."
"With Lynx? Who knows," a female student giggled from behind them, fanning herself. "If he offered to train me like that, I wouldn’t say no."
Kira stepped closer to Lynx, her striking orange eyes narrowing playfully as she looked at Eleanor, then at Nadia, who was trying her absolute best to avoid eye contact with Lynx while her dark cheeks flushed pink.
"Well, well," Kira murmured, a teasing smirk on her lips as she crossed her arms beneath her heavy chest, pushing them up slightly. "Looks like someone had a busy night. Eleanor doesn’t even look like the ’untouchable Queen’ anymore. You look... softer."
"Quiet, Kira," Eleanor said smoothly, though a faint blush dusted her cheeks as she stepped beside Lynx, her hand lightly brushing against his wrist. Her touch was delicate, but possessive.
"We were simply... resting. The method requires deep meditation to stabilize the aura. That’s all."
"Right, ’resting,’" Lira giggled softly, leaning into Lynx’s arm even more, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "You’re all glowing so brightly you could light up the entire transport, Eleanor! I remember when I first got my glow up too."
Eleanor’s blush deepened, but she didn’t pull her hand away from Lynx’s wrist. Layla just smirked behind her, clearly enjoying the moment.
Suddenly, the massive glass screens mounted across the hotel lobby chimed loudly, broadcasting an urgent news update from the Void Imperial News Network.
The golden Void Empire crest spun on the screen before cutting to a serious looking female anchor.
"Breaking News: The Void Royal Palace has issued an official statement regarding the sudden absence of senior faculty members and elite Void guards from the Central Arena last night. Her Royal Highness, Princess Kimberly Vane, has confirmed that a sudden wave of classified beasts breached the outer border defense line late last night, forcing senior professors and peak guards to deploy immediately to contain the invasion. Princess Kimberly extends her warm congratulations to the Aether Blessed Academy and wishes them a safe journey back."
The lobby erupted into quiet chatter among the Aether students, with many professors looking puzzled by the sudden, strange timing of the Invasion and Void faculty’s departure.
The official footage showed Princess Kimberly standing in the palace balcony, composed and regal, reading from a prepared statement.
"An expedition? Last night? That’s convenient timing," Professor Jace muttered to Professor Mira, his arms crossed. "All their strongest disappeared right after the finals."
Professor Selene’s icy eyes narrowed slightly, but she said nothing. She simply filed the information away.
Lynx casually drew his glass hPhone, glancing down at his screen. His private Harem group chat on Instalite chimed with new notifications. The phone was transparent, with floating golden text only visible to his eyes.
[Isabel: Amira, Eira, Emily, and I left super early this morning! We just reached Amira’s house. Everything is being set up for the celebration party tonight. Lynx, my love, make sure you come straight over after you finish up. There’s so much food.]
[Eira: We bought that golden cake Isabel told us you like when you were little, Lynx.]
Lynx smiled softly, his thumb flying across the glass screen as he added five new contacts to the group chat, Eleanor, Layla, Iris, Rhea, and Nadia.
[Lynx: I just added Eleanor and her squad to the group. They’re coming to the party too.]
[Eira: Yayy Welcome to the group, seniors.]
[Emily: Welcome. We’re buying so many drinks and food right now. Can’t wait to meet you all officially.]
[Ava: They look amazing today, Emily. You will see.]
Lynx slid his phone back into his pocket with a smooth smirk, looking up to see Eleanor looking at him curiously.
"All students, form your squads and prepare for launch!" Professor Selene’s icy, authoritative voice echoed across the marble lobby, cutting through all conversations instantly.
Standing at the head of the entrance alongside Professor Jace and Professor Mira, the Frost Queen adjusted her gloves, her sharp blue eyes sweeping over the crowd with absolute command.
Her Frost aura made the air around her slightly colder. "The flagship flying automobile is ready on the launchpad. Move out. No delays."
The 46 students moved in an orderly line out of the hotel doors, stepping into the crisp morning air of the Void Empire capital.
The Void capital was always dramatic, black spires, floating mana lanterns, and a sky that was a deeper blue than Aether’s.
Unlike their arrival days prior, when the local crowds had gathered merely to gawk at Lynx’s handsome face as if he were a divine model, the public reaction today was entirely different.
As Lynx stepped onto the stone pavement, thousands of Void citizens, tourists, and off duty Blessed lined the street barriers. Absolute, heavy silence fell over the crowd. It was not the giggling, screaming crowd of before. It was respectful. Almost reverent.
Hands froze. Eyes widened in profound awe and quiet respect.
"That’s him..." a Void Empire civilian whispered, pulling his daughter back slightly, his voice full of awe. "That’s Lynx Azarion. The Blessed who dismantled twenty two boosted fighters in seconds. The Champion of Champions."
"He doesn’t even look real," a young noblewoman gasped, clutching her friend’s arm with a bright, flustered blush painted across her face. "He looks like an angel, but his power is... terrifying. Mother said his aura alone made the Void Elders step back."
Lynx offered the crowd a calm, effortless wave as he walked past, his heterochromatic eyes calm, causing a wave of gasps and squeaks to erupt among the younger local women, before he effortlessly boarded the lead vessel. Eleanor and her squad followed right behind him, their golden uniforms catching the sun.
The flagship flying automobile rested on the polished launchpad, its heavy mana engines humming softly with power. It was a beast of a machine, over a hundred feet long, matte black with golden Aether runes glowing along its sides, shaped like a sleek luxury yacht that could fly.
The group climbed the short stairs and entered the expansive, high end cabin.
Inside the main cabin, the seating was spacious, featuring luxury leather couches, panoramic glass windows, and private tables with floating holo-menus. The lighting was warm and soft.
The professors took up the front VIP section near the pilot lounge. Professor Rose sat with Professor Selene, Professor Jace, and Professor Mira.
However, while Selene was reviewing tactical reports on her hPad and Jace was resting his eyes, Professor Rose kept subtle track of Lynx.
She sat back with a glass of juice, using one eye to observe Lynx sitting toward the back, surrounded by almost every top female beauty in the academy.
A proud, amused smirk played on Rose’s lips. She took a sip and whispered to Selene, "Our boy has collected the whole academy now."
Selene didn’t look up from her hPad. "He can have them. As long as he keeps winning."
Meanwhile, the rest of the Aether academy students were spread out across the middle sections, talking loudly and laughing.
Most of them were pressed against the panoramic glass windows, waving enthusiastically at the crowds of Void citizens cheering from the ground towers as the flying automobile lifted off into the clear blue sky with a smooth, powerful thrust.
"Look at the crowd down there. Man, winning this tournament feels insane." a third year male student yelled, snapping pictures on his phone, his voice almost shaking with excitement.
"We’re literally champions of the whole human continent. Everyone back home is gonna treat us like kings." Another cheered, banging the window.
Because of how loud the general student body was, nobody in the middle or front sections could hear the quiet, intimate conversation happening in Lynx’s private corner near the back glass wall.
In Lynx’s circle, the seating was cozy. Lynx sat in the middle of a grand curved couch that could fit ten people. On his left were Ophelia, Lira, Ava, and Kira, all close enough that their shoulders touched.
On his right sat Eleanor, Layla, Iris, Rhea, and Nadia. The private table in front of them had drinks and small snacks automatically served by a floating tray.
Further across the aisle, other notable students were seated, each dealing with their own thoughts.
Peter Musk sat near a window by himself, staring blankly out at the sky. The supposed heir of the Musk Industrial Empire, usually surrounded by sycophants, was alone.
He didn’t look angry or bitter, just completely hollow, as if he had accepted that no matter how rich his family was, no matter how many private tutors and artifacts he had, Lynx existed on an entirely different plane of reality. The golden glow from Eleanor’s squad reflected in the window he stared at.
A few rows over, Julian sat with his squad, Kol, James, and Mars.
"Julian, man, are you sure your family is still going to press the academy because of what you told me?" Kol whispered quietly, keeping his voice down, leaning in so no professor could hear.
"I mean... look at Lynx. He didn’t just win the tournament, he took down Void’s elite. And now Queen Eleanor’s squad is literally sitting in his lap. If we move against him, we’re finished."
