Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 1136 - 1145: Keep Crying
"Is Sean Lockwood out of his mind, thinking he’s the best, assuming Anna Morgan still has feelings for him? She doesn’t even care about him!"
The murmurs arose, making Sean Lockwood’s face even more pained as he stood there glaring at Anna Morgan.
He wanted to speak again, to scold Anna Morgan, but the mockery around him and the derision in Anna’s eyes left him speechless.
"Anna, Sean just came to see you, do you have to speak so harshly?"
Truth and falsehood, when it comes to Zoe Quinn, are always easily twisted.
"You’re too much!"
Zoe Quinn said, tears streaming down her face.
Anna Morgan looked at Zoe Quinn, knowing she wouldn’t leave until Anna used her ultimate move.
"Alright, stop crying."
Anna Morgan smiled and said, "If you keep crying, everyone will think I hit you."
"Then..."
As the words fell, Anna Morgan’s smile faded, and she quickly raised her leg, kicking towards Zoe Quinn.
With a "bang," Zoe Quinn was once again kicked to the ground by Anna Morgan.
Her bright red lips met the dirty ground in a deep kiss.
The scene was so dramatic that the onlookers stared wide-eyed.
"Anna Morgan!"
Sean Lockwood hadn’t expected Anna Morgan to start hitting just like that, right in front of him.
He hurried to help Zoe Quinn up, angrily scolding Anna Morgan.
Anna Morgan ignored the furious Sean Lockwood, smiling slightly at the truly crying Zoe Quinn, "Sorry, kicked you again."
"Keep crying then."
She dusted off her hands and turned to leave.
"Anna Morgan!"
Seeing Anna Morgan walk away so nonchalantly, Sean Lockwood stepped forward to retaliate for Zoe Quinn, but the director came over and told everyone to disperse and start filming.
Zoe Quinn slowly walked to Director Lowell, hoping he would stand up for her.
"Director Lowell, Anna didn’t mean it, don’t..."
Manipulation, Zoe Quinn was a master of it, and since Director Lowell had a thing for her, she was even pushed into the crew by President Fitzgerald.
"Why bother!"
But before Zoe Quinn could finish, Director Lowell, displeased, said, "Don’t stand here blocking the way, go back and rest."
Zoe Quinn was stunned, "I have scenes this afternoon."
"Not anymore!" Director Lowell said impatiently, calling over the scriptwriter, "Is the script revised? You must emphasize the protagonist’s character, more scenes."
Director Lowell’s words were completely different from yesterday’s.
Yesterday, he had the scriptwriter relentlessly cut the protagonist’s scenes, and now he’s saying to add scenes for Anna Morgan, meaning taking scenes from the supporting characters.
The scriptwriter was baffled; how did the director change overnight?
Hopefully, she wouldn’t finish revising the protagonist’s scenes only for the director to give them to the supporting character.
"Go on, why are you dawdling!"
"Support the main character, understand?"
Director Lowell made things clearer, and the scriptwriter didn’t dare delay, immediately going back to add to the protagonist’s scenes.
"Director Lowell." Zoe Quinn endured the pain, asking tearfully, "Is all my scenes today being given to Anna Morgan?"
"No."
Zoe Quinn hadn’t even caught her breath before Director Lowell continued, "It’s your entire remaining scenes."
"You’re just a supporting character, you barely have any screen time."
They were going to massively reduce Zoe Quinn’s scenes.
Zoe had struggled to latch onto President Fitzgerald for a supporting role in this drama; the role didn’t initially have many scenes, but with President Fitzgerald’s backing, she even managed to snatch scenes from Anna Morgan.
