Chapter 4402: Escape

Growl!

"Fucking monster!" it cursed as the cheetah monster growled at it.

The monster seemed to understand that as it attacked it. It was so fast that I could only see a blur and nothing else.𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

A moment later, I heard a loud clang, which created a shockwave, even more powerful than earlier, and began to spread cracks as it hit my sphere.

This time, there was no fear in my eyes when I saw the cracks.

It took a lot of effort to bring the monster here.

The energy is like mud; even the shockwave couldn’t spread far. So, I used the forbidden power to spread the energy as far as I could to lure the monster.

Till a few seconds ago, I thought I would die as I couldn’t find the monster.

It now came, but I am not safe. Looking at it, it is fighting the monster; it wants to run away. If it was able to do that successfully, he will shift his target to me.

I used this opportunity to move even faster. I wanted to get away as far as I could from both of them. Both of them are very powerful; it is my great fortune that I haven’t died yet.

I began to move away and created quite a distance, but the bastard came quite close to me, before the monster attacked it.

I cursed and moved again, but once more, when I had just created the distance. The bastard moved close.

It is making me really angry, most importantly. I am burning my essence, and I didn’t have more than a few seconds worth before I step into critical terrible.

I would lasted more, if these bastards had just stopped sending the freaking shockwaves to my way.

Once more, I created a distance, and like always, it moved toward me, but this time, the monster stopped it at the first step.

Using that opportunity, I moved further and, for the first time, got out of its range.

I know, this is an opportunity I have. If I didn’t disappear now, I might not be able to again.

So, I took out my abode, and the gate formed immediately, and I stepped inside, without a moment of hesitation.

I never reveal the abode so close to the enemies, but I have barely a second, and I decided to take the risk, and I do not regret it.

I stepped into the abode, directly into the practice room. As I did, a complex formation appeared, with runes filled with the resources.

There is only one resource that is open, which is a tiny green dot.

That is a core liquid of the plant. I hadn’t harvested it now, I did it when I sent it into my core yesterday. It isn’t fully refined, but it will work.

The clothes disappeared from my body, and I lay down.

Immediately, the formation activated, and the runes began to move toward me.

I waited, the blood is still burning, but at much lower intensity.

I had burned enough blood in the battle against the host that I won’t be able to stay the moment I stop. It is extremely risky, but there is no choice.

It is why I summoned the command of the abode and written a step-by-step order.

Fifteen minutes later, it stopped sending the battle energy. I should move with its target, getting out of the violet field.

I know, it could stay in this energy for at least nine hours, but I didn’t want to take the risk. The sooner I get out of it, the safer it will be for me.

I had burned a lot of blood and will need a while to recover. The safer place would be a good choice for that.

The runes are begging to move across the body, with each rune having an outline of vibrant green. It is just a drop, but it contains massive power.

It will help me fill my life energy faster without letting me suffer any side effects.

It also helps that my base is perfect. I will not suffer any side effects. Still, my clone will keep an eye on everything and make changes if it senses something is amiss.

I was in my thoughts when the graph and data floating above me spiked high.

Those bastards have appeared right above. My abode went deep, but not deep enough, and those are very powerful, and some of their energies hit me.

It worried me.

I am not worried about the energy; my abode is more than capable of taking it. I am worried about getting discovered through it.

Though it didn’t look like it, they didn’t focus on me and move away the next moment.

Looking at the graph, the host is trying to run away. It’s no surprise to me; the monster has the edge, and while it could defend quite well, the monster is more powerful.

Eventually, it will make a mistake, and the monster will use that.

The wise option is to run away.

Though the monster isn’t making it easy, it’s using its superior speed and strength to attack it constantly.

I hope the bastard makes a mistake and the monster tears it apart, but the way it is fighting. It is unlikely to happen; the bastard is good, and it will not make mistakes.

At least, not this soon.

Finally, the runes covered me whole, and I activated the formation in my core, while at the same time, stopping the essence burning.

The moment I did, the overwhelming tiredness took me. I couldn’t even resist before I went into the sweet embrace of unconsciousness.
