"Alan, when do you plan to release the Alchemist?" the Wolf King asked Alan.

"Why should I let her go? I never intended to release her. She’s been here, and if we release her, she might reveal the Wolf Clan’s secrets. Besides, the Wolf Clan doesn’t have an Alchemist, so we should keep her for ourselves!" Alan replied calmly.

"But didn’t you promise her?" the Wolf King asked, looking at Alan.

"I was just saying it; I didn’t swear an oath, so what’s there to fear? King, I’m going to cultivate!" Alan glanced over and then got up to leave.

The Wolf King watched Alan’s retreating figure, his gaze complex. After some thought, he went to Mo Jiuli’s courtyard. Seeing Mo Jiuli, he hesitated for a long time before saying, "Alan won’t let you go, so you should leave!"

"Alright." Mo Jiuli responded lightly.

After speaking, Mo Jiuli turned and began to walk away. The Wolf King glanced at Mo Jiuli’s back and finally decided to follow, saying, "I’ll escort you out!"

Mo Jiuli nodded without speaking. The Wolf King led Mo Jiuli out of the Wolf Clan, escorting her to the valley outside the Wolf Clan’s territory. As he watched Mo Jiuli, he seemed on the verge of speaking, but didn’t know how, his expression deeply frustrated...
