Mad Blade walked while recalling the appearance and characteristics of the Dragon Blood Grass in his mind.

Mad Blade didn't understand heavenly and earthly treasures like the Dragon Blood Grass at all.

However, Mad Blade was a rough yet meticulous person, not for nothing did he serve as a Special Forces King for all those years.

He had already learned about the growing environment and characteristics of the Dragon Blood Grass from Chu Liehuo.

Chu Liehuo even drew a picture and sent it to Mad Blade via WeChat.

Following Chu Liehuo's description, Mad Blade walked and kept an eye out for various exotic flowers and plants, searching for the Dragon Blood Grass.

Any biologist in the world would be utterly shocked and speechless if they had the fortune to come to this Medicinal Garden.

In this Medicinal Garden, thousand-year-old ginseng from Changbai Mountain was ordinary; countless rare Spirit Grass and Spiritual Medicine were everywhere.

Even in the garden, some unique spiritual beasts were bred.

These spiritual beasts were synthesized by Tang Qianjue using ancient methods combined with modern genetic technology.

Mad Blade had no interest in checking these things, he just concealed his presence and searched everywhere for the Dragon Blood Grass.

Finally, he found, near a steaming hot spring at the back mountain, clusters of grass that were cinnabar red and shone with a metallic luster like cast iron.

Mad Blade was instantly delighted in his heart; according to Chu Liehuo, this was the Dragon Blood Grass.

A spicy sulfur smell emanated from the hot spring, boiling endlessly, with the water temperature at at least 80 degrees.

Yet the Dragon Blood Grass thrived near this hot spring, all year round, nourished by the scorching spring water.

If some biologists saw this, they would definitely be dumbfounded.

Mad Blade was happy in his heart, stealthily moving toward the Dragon Blood Grass.

The Dragon Blood Grass was extremely hard, filled with vigorous Spiritual Energy, and full of yang energy.

Mad Blade painstakingly managed to get two stalks of Dragon Blood Grass and, even with his Martial Arts Realm, he felt somewhat exhausted.

What Mad Blade didn't know was that less than 300 meters behind him, a ghostly figure stood coldly watching him among the medicinal herbs.

The person seemed like a Yin Soul, nearly transparent, as if just a faint shadow, both real and unreal.

If you focused and looked closely, you'd realize it wasn't an illusion but a real person.

His eyes were filled with indifference, looking at Mad Blade as if seeing a dead person.

Mad Blade dug up a large batch of Dragon Blood Grass and, estimating it was enough, straightened up, ready to leave.

Just then, he noticed the faint figure behind him and was startled.

Soon, Mad Blade pretended to see nothing, casually passing by the figure, heading down the mountain.

The person didn't call out to Mad Blade, and just when Mad Blade thought he was hallucinating, that shadowy figure suddenly spoke.

"Are you planning to leave just like that?"

Mad Blade turned back, his face somewhat stunned.

"If not like this, then how?"

The person looked at Mad Blade with surprise, unable to comprehend his cheekiness.

This fellow was boldly and blatantly stealing medicinal herbs, caught on the spot by the rightful owner, yet was unfazed and indifferent.

This level of cultivating qi was extraordinary.

The two stared at each other for three seconds, Mad Blade shook his head and continued walking down the mountain by himself.

A murderous intent flashed across the person's face.

"Don't you know this is a forbidden zone of the Tang Sect?"

Mad Blade stopped in his tracks, couldn't help but sigh.

"I've trespassed in so many forbidden zones in my life that they can't be counted, what's a forbidden zone if not a place to break into?"

The person finally couldn't hold back any longer, his countenance changed dramatically.

"You've broken into the Tang Sect's forbidden zone, you should be prepared to die."

Mad Blade let out a chuckle and suddenly sprinted away.

The person didn't pursue, standing quietly in place, eyes filled with mockery.

Mad Blade ran faster and faster, but just as he was about to rush out of the Medicinal Garden, his throat suddenly felt itchy.

He coughed, spewing a mouthful of blood like an arrow.

In an instant, Mad Blade felt all the strength in his body was drained.

Blood continued to pour from his mouth, but he used his last breath to toss the Dragon Blood Grasses over the wall.

The ghostly figure's expression turned icy, eyes filled with murderous intent.

"Courting death."

As he spoke, he reached into the void with a hand.

A thud was heard as an invisible Vigorous Energy forcefully pulled someone in over the wall.

The person was none other than Chu Liehuo.

He had the Dragon Blood Grass in his arms, looking like a carp caught up on the shore, heavy with rain.

It turned out Chu Liehuo had accepted Mad Blade's ten million payment, sneaked into the Tang Sect's Medicinal Garden to steal the Dragon Blood Grass, only to be caught red-handed.

Chu Liehuo struggled to get up from the ground, his face changed drastically as soon as he saw that shadowy figure.

"Are you… Are you Tang Qianjue?"

Mad Blade was coughing blood, but his face had turned a sinister green, looking especially terrifying.

He felt Chu Liehuo and Tang Qianjue, however, seemed far away.

His life essence was draining bit by bit, and he managed a bitter smile.

"Running into a monster like you, bad luck for me, make it quick."

Tang Qianjue said lightly, "Do you think you still need me to make a move?"

Chu Liehuo looked down and his face changed drastically.

He was shocked to discover that his feet had become slick with oil.

Numerous green threads appeared on his skin, glowing with an eerie green light.

Fear filled Chu Liehuo's eyes, and he shouted loudly.

"You… you can't kill us, we're from Yinxue Tower, Master Yang's…"

Before he could finish, Chu Liehuo's face contorted.

Like a wax figure melting from the heat, his features distorted and liquefied into a ghastly green fluid flowing downward.

Tang Qianjue hesitated upon hearing Yinxue Tower's name.

He waved his hand, and the ghostly aura surrounding him lifted like a curtain, revealing a straight nose, handsome face, and eyes that shone like stars.

This guy was surprisingly a rare handsome man.

Meanwhile, Mad Blade's amulet was utterly corroded by poison, its Spiritual Energy dimmed.

His features and body began to melt as well.

Tang Qianjue unleashed a streak of green light from his hand.

Instantly, the melting process halted, and life began to return to Mad Blade's body.

In less than a minute, Mad Blade was back to normal.

However, all his facial hair had fallen off, and he had lost quite a bit of hair on his head.

Mad Blade still felt weak but stood tall.

"What? Changed your mind?"

"At Yinxue Tower, we even steal with honor. Since you've caught us, we will give you our lives."

Tang Qianjue's thin lips formed a line, sharp as a blade.

"Not so easily, since you're from Yinxue Tower, let Yang Fei come and get you?"

"He is known as the first in the Hua Zhen Xiu Zhen Realm. I'm curious to see how many of my moves he can withstand?"

While they spoke, Chu Liehuo had fully melted.

He turned into a pool of ghastly green blood on the ground, soaking in and disappearing.
