The Businessman and the Cheetah

Mr. Thomas was a very busy businessman. He wore a suit every day, carried a shiny black briefcase, and always looked at his watch.

I have no one to 10th I am not able to utter those words to her and then we can do it on her thigh and then I will be there for the same time as well I have a great day

"I have no time to waste!" he often said. "Time is money!"

One day, Mr. Thomas had to travel to a small village for a business meeting. He flew in a plane, rode a bus, and finally got into a taxi that drove through the jungle.

Suddenly, the taxi stopped.

"What’s wrong?" asked Mr. Thomas.

"There’s a cheetah in the road!" the driver said.

Sure enough, a big, beautiful cheetah was lying right in the middle of the dirt road. It wasn’t hurt. It just seemeIt’s about a sink and a toy.

"Max," said Mom, "please don’t play with your toy near the sink."

"Don’t worry, Mom," Max said. "I’ll be careful!"

But as he moved Zappy around the edge of the sink, pretending Surprise

One rainy Saturday morning, Max was playing in the kitchen while his mom washed the dishes. Max had a small toy robot named Zappy. Zappy was his favorite toy. He took it everywhere—even to the bathroom and the dinner tableit was a space station, the robot slipped from his hand.

Plop!

Zappy fell right into the sink full of soapy water.

"Oh no!" Max cried. "Zappy!"

Mom turned around. "What did I say, Max?"

"I’m sorry! Can you help me get him out?" Max asked, almost in tears.

Mom carefully reached into the water and pulled out the little robot. "Well, it’s a good thing this water isn’t too hot," she said. "Let’s dry him off."

They used a towel and even a hair dryer to try to dry Zappy, but the toy didn’t light up or move anymore.

"He’s broken," Max said sadly.

Mom gave him a hug. "Maybe we can fix him later. For now, let’s go find something else to do."

Max went to his room and sat on his bed, holding Zappy. "I wish I hadn’t played near the sink," he whispered.

Later that day, Max’s grandpa came to visit. He used to be an engineer, and he liked to fix things.

"What’s wrong, Max?" Grandpa asked.

"I dropped Zappy in the sink," Max said. "Now he’s broken."

Grandpa looked at the toy robot. "Hmm. Maybe I can help."

He The robot’s lights blinked, and it made its buzzing sound again!

"He’s alive!" Max shouted. "Thank you, Grandpa!"

"You’re welcome," Grandpa said. "But maybe Zappy should stay away from sinks from now on."

Max laughed. "Yes! No more space missions near the sink."

The next day, Max made a spaceship out of a cardboard box. He called it the Dry Space Station. Zappy flew all around it, but never near water.

And every time Max walked past the kitchen sink, he smilepulled out a small toolbox from his bag. He opened Zappy carefully and looked at the tiny wires inside.

After a few minutes, Grandpa smiled. "I think I can fix it!"

Max watched closely as Grandpa worked. He replaced a tiny battery and wiped away some water inside the toy. Then he put it back together and handed it to Max.

"Try it now," Grandpa said.

Max pushed the button on Zappy’s chest. d and remembered the day his favorite toy took a surprise swim—and got saved by Grandpa.

"Shoo! Get out of the way!" Mr. Thomas shouted.

But the cheetah didn’t move.

Mr. Thomas got out of the car and waved his arms. "I’m a busy man! I have an important meeting!"

Still, the cheetah just blinked and yawned.

The taxi driver said, "You’ll have to wait. Cheetahs don’t like to be rushed."

Mr. Thomas frowned. He checked his watch again and again. "This cheetah is wasting my time!"

After twenty minutes, the cheetah finally stood up, stretched, and walked slowly into the tall grass.

Mr. Thomas got back in the taxi, grumbling. "

The next morning, Mr. Thomas went for a walk before work. He saw the same cheetah lying under a tree near the edge of the jungle.

This time, he didn’t yell or wave his arms. He just watched the cheetah resting peacefully.

"I guess even the fastest need time to slow down," he said softly.

Mr. Thomas flew back to the city the next day. He still wore his suit and carried his briefcase, but something had changed.

He smiled more. He walked slower. And he even took a break during lunch to sit in the park.

His coworkers were surprised.

"You seem different, Mr. Thomas," they said.

"I met a cheetah," he told them. "And it taught me something important."

From that day on, Mr. Thomas still worked hard, but he also knew when to rest—just like the cheetah.

And he never forgot the quWhat a lazy animal."

The driver smiled. "Oh no, sir. That cheetah is the fastest animal on land. But it knows when to run and when to rest."

Mr. Thomas blinked. "Really?"

"Yes," said the driver. "Cheetahs run only when they need to. They don’t rush all day long."

Mr. Thomas sat back in his seat and thought about that.

When he finally reached the village, the meeting had been delayed. It turned out he wasn’t even late.iet moment in the jungle that changed how he saw the world.

Sure! Here’s a fun and simple 500-word story in 4th grade English about the Titanic and a bottle. It includes adventure, imagination, and a little bit of history!

---

The Bottle from the Titanic

Lily was a curious 9-year-old girl who loved reading about ships. Her favorite ship of all time was the Titanic. She had books, pictures, and even a toy model of the famous ship.

One sunny afternoon, Lily and her family went to the beach. While her little brother played in the sand, Lily walked along the shore looking for seashells.

Suddenly, something shiny caught her eye.

It was a glass bottle! Inside the bottle was a piece of old, yellow paper.

"Mom! Dad! Look what I found!" she shouted, running baWilliam looked surprised. "Really?"

Then the dream faded, and Lily woke up.

The next morning, she looked at the bottle again on her desk. It was real. The letter was still inside.

At school, she showed her teacher, who brought it to a history museum. The people there said it might be a message made by someone who loved Titanic stories—just like Lily.

Still, no one was sure.

Whether the letter was real or just a creative idea from long ago, Lily felt special.

She kept the bottle on her shelf next to her Titanic books. And every time she looked at it, she remembered her dream, her walk on the ship, and her promise to always tell the story of the Titanic.

ck.

Her dad carefully opened the bottle and pulled out the paper. "It’s a letter," he said. "And it looks very old."

Lily’s heart beat fast. She read the letter out loud:

> April 14, 1912

My name is William, and I am on the RMS Titanic.

We are on a great ship, but tonight something feels strange. The sky is clear, but the sea is cold. If anyone finds this letter, please remember our story.

With hope,

William

Lily’s eyes grew wide. "This is from someone on the Titanic!"

"Maybe it’s a copy or a game," said Mom. "But it’s still really cool."

That night, Lily dreamed of the Titanic. In her dream, she was on the ship, wearing a long dress and walking on the big deck. People were laughing and talking, and music was playing.

She met a boy named William, just like the letter said.

"Hello," he said kindly. "Do you want to see the ship?"

Lily nodded. William showed her the grand staircase, the dining room, and the lifeboats. "It’s the biggest ship ever built," he said proudly.

But later, the ship began to shake. People started to panic.

Lily grabbed William’s hand. "We have to do something!"

"I know," he said. "That’s why I wrote a letter and put it in a bottle. Maybe someone in the future will find it."

Lily smiled. "I found it."

The End.
