Chapter 3250: Chapter 1106: Difficult World to Infiltrate

Zhou Tian thought that this action was a sure success, and if nothing went wrong, he should absolutely be able to infiltrate that world. However, when facing the attack of that World Consciousness, Zhou Tian immediately realized that this time his action hadn’t even started before it seemed to be somewhat unfeasible.

It’s not that the target Zhou Tian was eyeing this time was particularly powerful, making him lack confidence even with the Abyss World’s help to take it down. The reason Zhou Tian had this thought at the time was solely because the living beings in that world were too unique.

Humans, Beastmen, Elves, and so on, although these living beings are not present in every world, generally speaking, nine out of ten worlds have these races. Especially within the Sphere of Influence of the Divine Realm, those living beings have more or less become the mainstream ’protagonists of the world.’

Of course, the few worlds Zhou Tian is eyeing now haven’t been greatly influenced by the Divine Realm. Thus, even if their internal structure lacks those races, from a certain perspective, it’s not something worth making a fuss about.

Just like in the Heavenly Eye World, although its internal structure lacks those races, at least its internal Heavenly Eye Users still resemble humans. However, in the world Zhou Tian is currently eyeing, there isn’t a single humanoid living being, making it difficult for Zhou Tian to infiltrate, let alone at the time whether the Abyss World had the ability to fend off the World Consciousness’s counterattack. The structure of the living beings in that world doomed Zhou Tian’s attempt to infiltrate as anything but easy.

It’s not difficult to change one’s body structure, but the current problem is, although Zhou Tian has the ability to turn into any kind of living being, everything has a prerequisite: Zhou Tian must use certain abilities to achieve that effect. If he couldn’t use those abilities, then regardless of how powerful Zhou Tian is, he would have no reason to transform into such a form at that time.

Given the situation at the time, it was evident that Zhou Tian couldn’t possibly have the ability to infiltrate that world.

Making some changes to his original appearance wasn’t something difficult for Zhou Tian. He could easily transform his appearance into any kind of humanoid living being with minimal strength. Whether it’s Beastmen, Elves, or even goblins, Zhou Tian could choose to impersonate them.

The current problem, however, is that once Zhou Tian enters those Otherworlds, the strength he can deploy is limited. Without having caused sufficient infiltration in that world, if Zhou Tian utilizes excessive strength, it would undoubtedly alert the World Consciousness, whose prior actions Zhou Tian had observed. If Zhou Tian were to use excessive strength to change his appearance, then as soon as entering that world, he would be driven out, leaving Zhou Tian’s intended actions with little reason to continue.

Due to understanding these reasons at the time, Zhou Tian immediately realized after discovering the significant disparity in appearance between the living beings in that world and himself, that invading that world may not be as easy as hoped. Otherwise, under normal circumstances, once he gets a foothold, Zhou Tian would not consider abandoning his actions.

Of course, at the current time, if Zhou Tian were truly willing to spend time and patience with that world, and make more preparations, it might not be impossible to infiltrate it. Yet clearly, Zhou Tian is not prepared to spend much time on that world.

Firstly, although the Abyss World’s strength has increased, making Zhou Tian no longer as concerned about his safety as before, the Divine Realm’s strength requires continuous enhancement of the Abyss World’s strength. In such a situation, Zhou Tian would opt for methods that allow quicker strengthening of the Abyss World. For things without sufficient certainty, Zhou Tian typically avoids engaging.

Clearly, for Zhou Tian now, capturing that world lacks certainty, at least not to the extent that justifies significant time expenditure.

After investing a lot of time, Zhou Tian undoubtedly could infiltrate that world, but given that world’s strength, even if Zhou Tian manages to infiltrate it, whether he can truly capture it is uncertain, relying on Zhou Tian’s current strength, there is no confidence to guarantee success.

If Zhou Tian could annex that world, that would be fine, but if Zhou Tian spends significant time preparing only to discover that annexation is impossible, then what next?

If Zhou Tian fails to capture that world, his short-term hope of annexation is dashed. In such a scenario, having failed to capture the world while wasting significant time, Zhou Tian’s prior actions seemingly lose their worth.

With that time, in a situation where capturing that world is uncertain, Zhou Tian might as well switch targets. After all, the worlds Zhou Tian is currently eyeing are not limited to just one. Since the world currently targeted is difficult, choosing an easier target directly is the solution.
