"Get up!"

Song Heping, who received Simon's message, immediately shook the still sleeping Nura awake, then walked over and kicked Antonov, who was sleeping on the carpet.

"We've been exposed. CIA's operatives are on their way here."

After saying this, Song Heping immediately ran up to the second floor and knocked on the door of Khalid's family's room in the dark.

"Who?!"

Inside the room, Khalid was very nervous.

It seemed too sudden to have someone knocking on the door at this time of night.

"It's me, Song."

Song Heping went straight to the point: "The CIA has found us, we must leave immediately!"

The door was quickly opened, and Khalid stood at the entrance with a look of surprise: "How did they find us here?"

"I don't know either, but they're on their way here now. If we don't evacuate within five minutes, it will be dangerous."

Song Heping's tone was very grave.

Khalid could tell, the man standing in front of him was not just making alarmist claims.

"Alright! Wait a minute, I need to pack..."

"No time to pack, we only have five minutes, or it'll be us being packed up."

At these words, Khalid turned back into the room and said to the startled Litte and Nina on the bed, "Litte, quickly, we have to go!"

The small house instantly fell into chaos.

Khalid opened his wardrobe, pushed aside a secret compartment, and took out a small radio and weapons, cramming them haphazardly into a large travel bag.

"Sweetheart, don't bring Ruby. Leave it here, we'll come back for it."

Nina was holding onto her doll named Ruby, and Litte was persuading her to leave it.

Unexpectedly, the little girl was quite smart; perhaps she knew they might not have a chance to return, so she clung tightly to the doll.

"No, I must bring Ruby. Leaving it here alone, it would be scared..."

"Nina, be good!"

Khalid was a bit frantic, his tone uncharacteristically stern.

"Waa—"

Nina burst into tears.

Song Heping walked straight to Nina, took the doll "Ruby" from Litte's hand, and put it back into Nina's arms.

"Don't cry, bring it with you."

Turning to Litte and Khalid, he said: "This is not the time to let the child cry. We owe her, she doesn't owe us anything."

The meaning behind these words ran deep.

Khalid's face was instantly filled with guilt.

"Let her take it."

The man muttered quietly, not even having the courage to look at his daughter.

Once outside the door, Song Heping grabbed Khalid: "We should head to the rendezvous point early, but—"

His gaze shifted to Litte and Nina.

"They can't come with us."

Khalid immediately understood.

While Song Heping was a target, he himself was also not welcomed by the government army.

Now, if Litte and her daughter followed them, it would only be more dangerous.

After a moment of thought, Khalid came to his wife and daughter and said to Litte: "You can't come with us."

"Why?!" Litte couldn't understand.

Khalid said: "No time to explain, it's more dangerous if you come with us. Take Nina to Uncle Hardy's home and hide there for a while, I'll come get you when I'm done."

Litte held onto Khalid's hand tightly but soon let go.

No one knew her husband better than she did.

In Khalid's garage, there was a pickup truck.

After Song Heping and the others threw their gear onto it, they directly sat in the truck bed, then he said to Nura: "You drive, stop when we're passing through the woods later."

"Alright."

Nura immediately took the driver's seat.

Khalid was somewhat taken aback.

Song Heping told him: "Don't ask, let's go now, I'll explain later."

The pickup truck sped away from Khalid's house, heading towards the abandoned refinery, driving past the woods a kilometer away.

Nura hit the brakes.

Song Heping jumped off the vehicle and walked to the driver's side to tell Khalid: "Let Litte and Nina go to Uncle Hardy's house from here."

"Why?!" Khalid asked in confusion.

Leaving a mother and daughter here in the dead of night, especially in a country in turmoil, was clearly not something Khalid wanted to see.

"If you care about their safety, do as I say."

Song Heping pointed to the sky.

"You still haven't figured out why we were discovered?"

Khalid's face turned as white as paper in the moonlight.

After a moment of hesitation, he opened the car door and went to the back seat to get his wife and child out of the vehicle.

"It's only a few hundred meters to Uncle Hardy's house from here. You walk there yourselves."

"Can't you escort us?" Litte still didn't understand this approach: "It's less than a kilometer away."

Song Heping said with certainty: "Litte, trust me, walking there is much safer than us taking you."

Khalid pulled out a Makarov pistol from his waistband and handed it to Litte: "Take it, my woman should be stronger."

Litte stood there with the gun, stunned, while little Nina looked at the adults, not knowing what to do.

Khalid gritted his teeth and got back in the car.

Song Heping sat in the passenger seat and told Nura: "Go, head to the refinery!"

The car drove away, the dust it kicked up enveloping Litte and little Nina, the separation was so abrupt, yet so drawn-out.

"Naxin, we've been compromised."

In the car, Song Heping took out a satellite phone to contact Naxin.

"Do we need to change the rendezvous point?"

Naxin hurriedly asked.

Song Heping said: "No need, stick to the original plan and head to the abandoned refinery. If I'm right, when you get there..."

He looked at his watch: "If there's no delay, you should make it just in time for a big fight."

"You plan to confront the CIA task force at the refinery?"

Naxin gasped.

"I heard 'Watcher' squad is coming this time."

The "Watcher" squad is the most elite task force of the CIA's Secret Action Department, their combat ability rivaling that of the US Special Forces.

"There's no escaping, understand?"

Song Heping said: "I figure right now, satellites are tracking our vehicle, we can't shake them off no matter where we go. The only way is to eliminate those who come bearing trouble."

"Alright, I have 9 people here, and we're armed." Naxin said: "They're all experts from the Revolutionary Guard Special Forces, they should be able to lend you a hand."

Naxin no longer tried to dissuade him.

He knew Song Heping's character well.

He understood Song Heping's combat ability even more.

For him, what's considered a terrifying enemy might just be an easy target for Song Heping.

"Remember, park and dismount two kilometers from the refinery, then approach cautiously, shoot to kill on sight of any enemy."

Song Heping instructed his student, who once studied tactics under him.

"No problem." Naxin said: "Leave those fringe annoyances to me."

After hanging up, Song Heping said to Khalid: "Now, can you tell me which faction you're affiliated with?"
