Master and Slaves

Chapter 190: Introducing the Witch and Resolving Resentment

  • Next Chapter

"Hiroyuki-kun, what is this monster~?"

Rosina asked me with a smiling face putting plenty of thorns in her words.

Of course the thorns are directed at Gejia but I flinched like a husband who brought a mistress.

"Monster!"

The first to react to Rosina’s voice was Muriel.

She clung to my waist until the end and would not leave but as is she pulled me trying to separate me from Gejia.

Next reacting Sara held self-defense daggers in both hands and prepared threatening Gejia.

"Ah, no, she is not an enemy. Etto, Gejia, come here."

I who could finally speak after Sara prepared the daggers called Gejia over to introduce her.

"Is it already fine?"

Gejia asked me mixing a slightly fed-up tone.

"Aa, take that off."

When I said that to Gejia Gejia took off the hood she wore deep.

The horns growing on her head became exposed and tension ran through everyone.

Gejia as is untied the string tied at her neck and took off the mantle that only hid to her crotch.

"「「「「「「「「「「「!」」」」」」」」」」」"

Everyone was surprised and swallowed their breath.

On skin close to gray densely blue magic circles are drawn.

And rugged thick chains run vertically and horizontally on that body.

"Same as Yuki-san..."

Cathy muttered bosori.

"Aa, that’s right. Same as Yuki. I’ll introduce her. She is Gejia. A new Dule."

Hearing my words everyone was surprised again.

Then gazes concentrated on Gejia’s chest.

"Gejia, I’ll bring out the crest."

"Aa, fine."

After hearing Gejia’s agreement I placed my right hand on Gejia’s left breast and put in magic power.

"Nnn..."

There my crest floated up.

"...Hiroyuki is really irregular."

Sophia looking at Gejia’s crest muttered bosori.

Everyone nodded at that.

"Well, for now the circumstances while eating a meal... it’s not that time."

Probably it has passed 3 in the morning.

"Well, that’s how it is so I’ll talk tomorrow."

"Just simply, talk now~."

I thought to close with this but Rosina puffed her cheeks as if saying she cannot accept it.

Others too most are girls who cannot accept like Rosina or girls forcibly trying to accept.

Exceptions are about Yanica and Yuki perhaps.

That’s right.

Even if suddenly told from today a demon tribe is a companion they cannot accept it.

They say yesterday’s enemy is today’s friend but the years opposing the demon tribe are too long for yesterday.

On that point I have no problem at all so I thought carelessly about that kind of thing.

It was the same with Birga too.

Even for one night until explaining they want a reason to sleep under the same roof.

"Then, let’s see... first I ate lunch at a certain shop..."

I started talking about what happened today... no, yesterday.

...

"So that’s how it is, I was saved by Gejia."

For some reason sitting in the dining hall... the Dules all stubbornly refused that so I sat in the lobby and talked the whole story.

"Is that so. Thank you for saving Master."

Muriel bowed her head to Gejia and gave polite thanks and the other Dules followed that and thanked.

"No, everything is due to Master’s wit and magic power. I only helped a little."

Gejia modestly with a red face.

"Hee, there are ones like this among monsters too~."

Sophia said while impressed.

"What do you mean by ones like this? And I am Mabito tribe. Don’t lump me with monsters!"

But that way of speaking apparently did not please her and Gejia got furious and stood.

"What! I was impressed!"

Sophia also stood and yelled.

"Sophia, Gejia, stop."

Muriel immediately soothed the two.

As the head of my Dules she used a commanding tone even to Gejia who became a Dule but...

"Why must I listen to what you say!"

Gejia still standing this time directed the spearhead at Muriel.

She does not like being ordered by a human I guess.

"Gejia! Stop!"

I could not stand it and cautioned Gejia.

"Understood."

Gejia answered immediately, calmed herself and sat there.

"Wait, why do you get angry at Muriel and obedient to Hiroyuki!?"

Sophia perhaps getting the wind taken out of her sails said to Gejia looking bewildered.

"Because he is Master. Is there another reason?"

Gejia answered extremely calmly as if the earlier fury went somewhere.

"..."

Sophia also could not talk back and sat with an indescribable face.

Muriel looked at me with a troubled expression.

"Aa, Gejia. Listen to what Muriel says. And I won’t say get along or don’t fight but stop bloodshed."

I cautioned Gejia.

If Gejia lays a hand even Muriel will not get off cheap.

After all she is that Geizer’s daughter.

"Umu, understood."

Gejia answered looking happy for some reason.

"Does she really understand."

Sophia tilted her head looking at Gejia’s attitude.

"I understand. I have to listen to Master’s orders."

Apparently hearing Sophia’s muttered words Gejia refuted Sophia while floating a smile.

"Being ordered by one I like is since Father’s last order."

Gejia muttered floating a slightly lonely expression.

That means at least 15 years, no, 18 years ago when Geizer started invading the Torestia Kingdom, perhaps even earlier.

"Father’s last order?"

Muriel asked parroting.

"That’s right. I was told live."

At Gejia’s words Muriel and the others swallowed their breath.

Looking at the tattoos carved on that body and the attached chains they can tell it was at least a harsh situation.

"That’s right. I have something I want to show Gejia."

I said that to Gejia and stood.

"Un?"

I stopped with my hand Gejia who tilted her head and tried to stand together and I alone headed to the armory.

The purpose is... Destroyer.

I shouldered the greatsword and returned to the lobby.

"This."

Gejia who noticed me further noticed the greatsword I hold.

"That is!"

Gejia quickly stood and ran to me.

"Aa, the sword Geizer held."

I held out Destroyer to Gejia.

"Father’s!"

Gejia slowly received the greatsword.

Even with Gejia’s arm strength lifting it was all she could do but even then she put her cheek to the greatsword still touching the floor.

"Father..."

Gejia closed her eyes and muttered.

Now...

"Tiria!"

As expected Tiria stood and glared at Gejia.

She is the remote cause of Tiria’s family’s death and the direct cause of Tiria herself falling into a slave’s body.

This happening can be easily predicted.

"Master! Why!"

Tiria’s anger is also directed at me.

"Tiria! You..."

"Muriel."

I stopped Muriel who tried to scold Tiria’s attitude.

Then I approached Tiria and hugged her.

"I understand Tiria’s feelings but Gejia is the same."

Then I showed Gejia hugging the greatsword.

Tears spilled from those eyes.

"Gejia also had her father killed. By me."

"But that is!"

Tiria looked at my face and shouted.

"Gejia was imprisoned and used as bait to use Geizer. After that too she was used as a tool to send demon tribes."

Tiria gasped and looked at Gejia again.

"As I said earlier those tattoos and chains were applied to make Gejia a magic power supply source to move a giant transfer magic circle."

Then I looked at Yuki.

Probably Yuki was also made into that body for a similar reason.

"..."

Tiria ho released the power put into her body.

"I’m sorry, Master."

Tiria sat there and prostrated to me.

"No. If you understood that is fine."

I lightly patted Tiria’s back.

"Anyway everyone too. Gejia is my Dule. I think values differ because the environment she grew up in is different but I leave it to you."
