“Lord Spirit God. Lord Brush God.” Chu Feng respectfully bowed to the two of them.

Neither of them was to be underestimated. Even the Brush God, who was the Spirit God’s subordinate, was a powerful entity far beyond his reach.

Chu Feng had come here to seek the Spirit God for help. He had been worried that the latter would refuse to meet him, so it was a relief to see her here.

“I have seen everything through the Three Realms Divine Eyes. I’ll inspect their conditions,” the Spirit God said.

Chu Feng hurriedly took out the hibernating Spirit God Clansmen from his spatial formation.

The Spirit God took out an ancient tower that was the size of a fingernail. The tower was beautiful as if it was made out of crystal. It consisted of nine levels, each harnessing different energies.

The Spirit God gently tossed it into the air, and the tower swiftly expanded. The hibernating Spirit God Clansmen were sucked into the tower.

The Spirit God formed a hand seal, and the lowest level of the tower emanated a divine light. The light ascended the tower as if an encroaching fog, and it only stopped upon reaching the eighth level.

“Woah, this line has incredibly pure bloodlines! But why is their cultivation so weak?” the innocent Brush God blurted out.

“Lord Brush God, do you know the background of the Spirit God Clan?” Chu Feng took this opportunity to ask.

The Brush God placed her hands on her hips and scoffed, “Stop pretending, you little brat! Didn’t you bring the Spirit God Clansmen here because you thought they were related to Lord Spirit God?”

“Ah...” Chu Feng scratched his head awkwardly at having been exposed. “Yes, that was what I was thinking. So... is it true?”

The Brush God looked at the Spirit God.

“There’s no need to keep this a secret from Chu Feng,” the Spirit God replied with a faint smile.

Only then did the Brush God reveal, “This line of Spirit God Clansmen is nothing compared to Lord Spirit God. How should I put this? They aren’t from the same clan, but they share the same bloodline.

“It’s similar to the case of your Heavenly Lightning Bloodline. You possess the Heavenly Lightning Bloodline, but that doesn’t mean you have blood relations with others who possess the Heavenly Lightning Bloodline. Do you get what I’m saying?”

“Yes, I understand.” Chu Feng nodded.

“While there are many people with the Heavenly Lightning Bloodline out there, the Spirit God Bloodline is much rarer. You’re lucky to have earned their favor,” the Brush God said.

“I am indeed lucky. I am blessed to have been able to meet Lord Spirit God and Lord Brush God, ” Chu Feng replied with a smile.

“That’s true.” The Brush God smirked in glee, only to frown seconds later. “You stinky Chu Feng. Why are you interrupting me? I was asking my master a question.”

The Brush God then turned to the Spirit God, curious to know the answer to her earlier question.

“This line has a restriction placed on it by its ancestor. Only when they find a master will their potential be released,” the Spirit God replied.

That explained the Spirit God Clansmen’s relative weakness despite their incredibly pure bloodline.

“I see. Chu Feng, you have struck gold,” the Brush God said.

“Chu Feng, do you want them to make a partial or full recovery?” the Spirit God asked.

“Lord Spirit God, I’d rather they make a full recovery if possible,” Chu Feng replied.

“You should be aware of their conditions. I’m impressed you were able to stabilize their conditions at all. I can restore their spirit powers to their previous levels, but their potential will be capped. However, there is another solution,” the Spirit God said.

“What do I have to do?” Chu Feng asked.

“While this line of Spirit God Clansmen has acknowledged you as their master, the master-servant contract has yet to be sealed. You can unlock their sealed potential by sealing the contract. Not only will they make a full recovery, but the speed of their cultivation will also rise to reflect their true talent.

“But it isn’t that easy to seal the contract. Your aptitude and willpower are top-notch, but your cultivation is still lacking. You have to at least reach Heavenly God or Heavenly Dragon, though Heavenly Dragon will be better,” the Spirit God said.

“How long can they last?” Chu Feng asked.

He was closer to reaching Heavenly God than Heavenly Dragon.

“I can sustain them for a while, but not too long. There should be a power known as the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect in this era that left behind some legacies. They might be beneficial to your growth,” the Spirit God said.

“Lord Spirit God, are you referring to the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s main city?” Chu Feng asked.

The Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect was the dominant world spiritist power in the earlier years of the present era. It was only when its experts left the world of cultivation for the Ninth Galaxy that the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion finally rose to prominence.

The Seven Realms Sacred Mansion had benefited greatly from the remnants left by the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect, and there were even some remnants that the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion struggled to decipher even to this day.

The Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s main city was one of them.

After the Nine Heavens’ Zenith, the Ancient Era’s powers joined forces to attack the Hidden Dragon Martial Sect, claiming it was hiding treasures. That forced the Hidden Dragon Martial Sect to employ their defensive formation to protect the Ancestral Martial Galaxy.

In truth, the true goal of the Ancient Era’s powers was to use the Hidden Dragon Martial Sect’s defensive formation to force the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s main city to appear.[1]

They succeeded in forcing the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s main city to appear, but they failed to enter it.

Five key fragments had to be gathered to access the main city, and they were hidden in the Immortal Sea Galaxy, the Totem Galaxy, the Seven Realms Galaxy, the Divine Body Galaxy, and the Bloodline Galaxy.

Chu Feng had obtained two key fragments from the Immortal Sea Galaxy and the Totem Galaxy, but unfortunately, there was a rival competing with him over the key fragments—Jie Tianran.

The Seven Realms Sacred Mansion had been maintaining a tight control over the Seven Realms Galaxy's and the Divine Body Galaxy’s remnants. A while back, he heard rumors that the two remnants had been deciphered. Jie Tianran should have obtained their key fragments.

The only one left was the Bloodline Galaxy’s key fragment.

Chu Feng had to pause his search for the key fragments, but he had been keeping an eye on this matter. He learned that the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s remnant in the Bloodline Galaxy had suddenly disappeared, making it tougher to obtain the last key.

He figured that he wouldn’t be able to gather all five keys anyway, given that two of them had fallen into the hands of the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion, so he dropped it from his mind for the time being.
